Outside of that it is decent. Only bought this over the amplifi alien because this was on sale and I dont have any compatible wifi 6 devices.

There are good features but they don’t work completely. Here are my issues that has got my satisfaction so down that I would throw this out of the window. 1) every power outage or ISP outage needs a follow up redo of the setup . Which means complete reset of home automation. Now reset is painful because switches work on 2.4 and this involves additional time. 2) blocking doesn’t work . You just can’t block sites successfully . But the 1st problem has now happened 6 times and this time when I am not at home to help and kids are struggling to setup. Can Linksys reach out to me to help? -Vinod

A complete reconfigure should not be the case after a power outage. An outdated firmware could be the main reason as to why the Velop acts this way. Let us check this out further and have an Escalation Engineer work with you for resolution. Email us your contact details at [email protected] along with the link to this post as our reference.
