The package I received consisted of three identical base units with the biggest wall wart power supplies I have ever seen, plus an ethernet cable and a note that says to download their app for your phone. The initial install went fairly well. I installed the first unit in the house, as the app instructed me step by step. I select one of the two options about how my network was configured, with one combined router and Access Point or separate ones. I forget which I selected. After taking a few minutes to find the base unit, the app then said to connect to my router. It then proceeded to configure the base unit as I followed the instructions from the app. I created a new SSID different from my current one for testing. Total time, about 5 minutes. I then went to the garage (about 75 feet away) and added another device. I had a few issues, but it did finally connect to the base unit. Great, but no way the shop is going to work at about 120 feet away. I was wrong! It went as smooth as the first. I proceeded to test the connectivity between locations and it was pretty good. So, coverage is fantastic. This appears to replace my network of 3 Apple Airports connected via ethernet. I'll keep that as a backup for awhile, as I'm not sure I am going to keep the Velops. Here is where it gets dicey. There was no place to turn off DHCP or NAT. Drat. So now I have 2 devices supplying DHCP and NAT. I could turn it off on the router, but I wasn't sure about this solution yet. I decided to start over and try the other option for connecting. I couldn't find a way to start over within the app, so I called tech support, hoping they could reset the devices, and get rid of a ghost Access Point from a previous Linksys device I no longer had. After a not so enjoyable discussion, It was determined that the only way to get rid of the Ghost device was to delete my account and recreate it. That would also remove the new Velops I had configured. I did that and started over again. This time I selected the other option of what I was replacing. I created a SSID same as my existing one, with same password, allowing easy transfer of devices to new wireless. Still no ability to turn off DHCP or NAT, but at least it was working. Devices transferred over easily or automatically when old network was powered down. Speed isn't fantastic, but it isn't really needed, as I have limited DSL internet access anyway. Bottom line: Recommended, with reservations. Pro - Great coverage, easy install. Con - Missing features, promised by tech support, maybe.

Upon initial set up, one satelite wouldn't connect to the internet. Tried the other one and it connected. Then tried to connect the satelite and it wouldn't connect. Also disappointed in the amount of LAN ports on each of the nodes. I returned the product immediately and purchased an orbi system.

They don't work like they should , They are very powerful but every once in a while my internet drops out.

This is an expensive product and works horribly. When you call support, you wait 30 minutes to get help, and then you are on the phone for hours trouble shooting with them. I've done this twice now and the system still doesn't work. I have a 300M Fios connection and only get 5M download speeds using this system. The system says it works in a 6000 sq ft home. My house is 2500 sq ft, the nodes are only 20 ft apart and Linksys says they are still too far apart to work properly. If they are next to each other, that defeats the purpose. Buy a different product, not this one.

spent double-digit hours with Tech service to set up. Ethernet (wired) setup would not work at all. Wireless works okay but one of three nodes does not work. I cannot get linksys to replace the inoperable node without going through more calls and processes with tech services. Cannot even get a customer service person on the phone without going through tech service. I do not have time for this and give up! No more linksys (or Belkin) products for me!!!!!!

Had these for about a year now but one of the nodes is always going out. Tried to contact TTS but no help.

Got for our 3 story 4800 sq ft home with a 6mbps I-net connection. I guess it does all it can do with what it has to work with.

Velop Tri-Bank AC 6600, ONLY has applications for Android and Apple Smart Telephones. There is NOT an application for Windows 8.1 or Windows anything else. Smart phone only. I confirmed this today, 8-3-2019 with Linksys Support. Additionally it is made in China. There is NOT mention in the specifications, it is ONLY for Android or Apple Smart Phones. I am returning it, hopefully tomorrow to Best Buy. I am very thankful I purchased the Linksys Mesh from Best Buy, a reputable company. To note, I have an Android Smart Telephone, one of the best. No matter there should be an application for Windows. All items I have always had access for windows and most of the time for Mac. The backbone for all my applications have been a computer, such as a Windows Laptop. I have security surveillance, and as an example, the application sometimes fails on my excellent Android Smart Phone, but NEVER fails on my Windows Laptop. So the point being, it is essential to have the base to be on an actual computer. It works for me, and is my actual lifeline when it comes to applications. I am using Windows 8.1 which has more accessible programs than the new Windows 10 system.

This was my third try using a Mesh Router. This one was the worst of the lot so far. My download/upload speeds dropped by 30% around the house.

Thought it should be easier to set up. Took more time than needed. Also, the range was not great. May go with something else in the future.

Setup is easy, but coverage could be better. The 6000 sq feet claimed is a generous estimate. Bought on sale.

I really wanted to get a reliable Wi-Fi solution with both work and school at home. This system seemed good for a month or so ( right until the return window passed). But now I lose connection every couple weeks. I have all the nodes connected via Wi-Fi and even devices that are wired lose connection. Very disappointed to have spent so much for this.

Not really sure how these worked as our router that we purchased crapped the bed.

I tried to set up, as some friends had really recommended. Live in older house and set up not as easy and would not work in my home.

Was looking for the Netgear Orbi but bought this at the recommendation of the BB salesperson. I ultimately returned it for the Orbi

So these didnt work well for me in a 2 story 2500 sq ft house. They are ok but just didnt cut it for us.

I have to reset the system at least a couple times a week. Way too expensive for the issues.

Save yourself the 400 dollars on these products. These are absolutely horrible. If you think you are going to get support when you have an issue good luck. Support is impossible to understand due to thick accent. Horrible connect issues. Just stay away look into googles option. Stay away please this is me warning you. Listen to this.

The app used to set this up didn’t work. We had to return this product and get a different router.

Our home is a little over 3,000 sq ft. and this router constantly drops connections. The node randomly starts turning red and we have had to reset this several times. I decided to go and buy the Netgear Orbi and it's a world of difference! My TV now gets a full 5ghz connection without any interruption.
