This is a great system. The setup was easy and the speed and coverage are great. Speed: I did a speed test between my previous Linksys AC router and this one and the Velop system was faster. I used to have slower connectivity upstairs, but I find that it's much faster now. Setup: The setup was really easy. The Linksys app was really easy to use and it stepped you through the process with ease. Once you have the first one set up the others are easy to add in. Features: I was hoping for better parental controls. All I found was a whitelist/blacklist function, which isn't helpful. Design: I really like the upright design. It takes up much less room than my previous WiFi router. Summary: Overall this is a great system. I don't have too much to say about it, but that's a compliment because it was so easy to set up and now I don't have to think about it. I have only had it for a month, but I am very impressed with it.

The setup of the device is easy. The only and major issue in my opinion was that you can't tell it what node your device should connect to. It is handled automatically and sometimes I want to use a closer node, not a further one. Because of this and this alone, I chose to return it as it wasn't reliable with knowing which node to connect to (in my case the one with stronger signal)

The customer service department was very helpful and friendly I just think the product just doesn’t compare to the google whole home WiFi

I have had several problems since I purchased amd installed this product. It was supposed to eliminate dead areas in my home. I purchase the recommended package base on my home size, a recommended given by the company. They walked me through set-up and I have spent hours upon hours with thr tech support reconnecting and trying to keep this device working to my internet.

Initially tried to set up my system, kept telling me I had the wrong password! So I unplugged and restarted the system. Now it won't recognize the main node and tells me it's too far away. It's right next to the modem. Looked for help online only to find others, with more expertise than I, having issues with the nodes not resetting. It's a known problem and Linksys has not fixed this bug! It's going back tomorrow. I'm not wasting my time!!!

Did not provide the Mbps I needed and constantly dropped speeds

Worked fine after an hour on the phone with a tech that spoke English as a second language. I have a degree in networking by the way.

The nodes continuously needed to be reconnected to one another when they were in the same room for set-up to verify each one worked. After spending a couple of hours troubleshooting to make sure the issue wasn't me, I made the trip to return this (despite what a good deal it was).

The product is set up in the room that I'm getting buffering from the TV. The buffering is still there.

Not worth it. It disconnects all the time not worth it

I wanted this product to work, but my internet crapped out, and I had to reboot the velop for it to work. Stay away from this product!

How can I review a product I haven't received yet. I ordered in store on 12/30/2019 and have yet to receive product. Several vendors have it in stock, I'm wondering if I should cancel order and purchase elsewhere. I'm trying to give Bestbuy a chance to get my product delivered but they seem to be taking their sweet time. I guess they are not to concerned about losing a sale.

Minor WiFi extension. More problems with devices dropping now than before. Not worth the investment

This product did not work well at all. We are a house of 5 with a total of 2 Xbox consoles, 5 smartphones, 1 iPod Touch, 2 iPads, and 5 laptop computers that are all pulling bandwidth from our internet service. The Xbox is not only used for online gaming but streaming movies and shows as well. This product did not hold up well enough for my family. We now have the Orbi and it works perfectly.

First, I was very pleased with how nice the product packaging was. It was very visually appealing. The product was very nice and sturdy, which was a necessary point for the price tag. I didn't really like that the only way you could do the setup was through an app. Not everybody has a smartphone. The setup was smooth except for when I was connecting my modem. It was having trouble "finding" it, but it worked after a restart of the modem. Once the setup was completed, it was smooth sailing from there. The internet connection was so fast! I didn't realize my previous connection was so slow until I saw how fast and seamless the connection with the Velop system was. You could get the same speed in any room of my house. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with a larger house with many rooms.

I have a very large home (4300+ sqft) and had many weak spots for my wifi. I did use a couple repeaters but was told they cut down my speed. After purchasing the Velop Mesh system with 3 nodes, I have strong signal throughout the entire home AND around the outside which is needed for my wireless security cameras. The App is VERY user friendly and well done, allowing me to see every device that is connected, and on what node and signal strength. Also like how it allows me to set parental controls for specific devices (so my son can use his Xbox all night long etc..). Installation was super easy for the first 2 nodes but for some reason had trouble with the 3rd node but Lynksys tech support helped me get it done. Very expensive but it does what it says. I recommend it.

Did not live up to it's hype. Never stayed on line long enough to supply a reliable network.

We were trying to activate this thing for over an hour, just to set it up in Bridge (AP) mode. It did finally connect and work for about 6 hours, before it fully disconnected and the app would not let me log in to reset the system. I then went online to see if others were having this issue, and it appears to be a common one for the Velop system. Returned next day.

I won't pretend to be a person that can break down all of the technical qualities of this unit (I'm sure there will be plenty of reviews that will satisfy that need) so I will address the simple facts that anyone can easily understand. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and seamless this unit worked compared to the one I had been using (Netgear Orbi). I was able to have multiple devices run at the same time with no issues (2 teenagers with gaming systems, phones, tablets, etc always running along with my own gadgets and netflix streaming). I could have done with just the 2 tower option as my home is smaller than the max coverage of the 3 tower option, but having all 3 extended my range to where I could go into the backyard and still have excellent coverage. The only negative may be the price point but as far as if it works well...it definitely does.

I bought this but returned it because it did not connect up properly.
