I wish I could give no stars. This product is horrible when compared to standard router or even other mesh routers in the market. I returned your within 6 hours.

Terrible. Nearly impossible to set up even with manufacturer help. Eventually returned.

Stats: 4900 sq. Ft Ranch which includes finished basement. The location of the main node is in the basement. I am very familiar with Mesh systems having owned a Luma system for a year. The luma system took 4 nodes to cover the same area. While the luma gave me increased speed over the standard router with extenders, the Linksys Velop system was 3X faster than the luma system. Close to the main node I am getting 350mbps download and 23.4 mbps upload speed. Upstairs at the far end of the house I am getting 190mbps download and 23 mbps upload speed. I pay for 300mbps download and 23 mbps. In my opinion this the best mesh system on the market. /the fact that it is made by Linksys is even better. The setup was easy using the Linksys app. Just be patient and follow the instructions. At the end of the set up it will do a firmware update.

I have used these in 2 houses and they worked great in both. I have the 3 node set, and I recommend getting all three just for the added coverage. My only suggestion for the setup instructions is that it should tell you to have bluetooth turned on. I had a little trouble setting up at my new house because I didn't have bluetooth turned on. Once I did that setup was a breeze.

If you are looking to eliminate dead zones and you have a large home, you need this product. The Linksys Velop Whole Home Wi-Fi system is more than capable of handling your basic and advanced wifi needs. The setup is very simple and can take as little as 15 minutes if you follow the directions provided in the Linksys app. The Velop system gives you the option of connecting directly to a modem or a modem/router combo to satisfy the needs of every customer. The units themselves look great and are powered by connecting them to a standard wall outlet. They also have Lan/Wan ports on the bottom of each unit to connect your laptop, console, or pc directly with an ethernet cable for a hard wired connection. This Velop system helped eliminate dead zones in the master bedroom that would previously constantly drop connection and made it hard to stream HD videos and simply browse the internet. If you're plagued with constant drop in connection then this is the perfect unit for you. You can also customize the settings through the Linksys app and add devices to your priority list. You can also add parental controls and check which devices are connected to your network. If you're connected to your modem/router combo then you can configure your port forwarding directly from your app to avoid double nat restrictions which make online gaming difficult. This system is complete and I highly recommend it.

I am pretty happy with this product. It set up fairly easy and takes up very little space. The one problem I had with it was that there were no setup instructions. It just told me to download the app and follow the instructions on there. This was a problem because the app would not download to my iPhone. It technically downloaded but would never actually open, so it was useless. Instead I had to use an old Android phone to download the app and follow the instructions from there. And the app could be slow at times (which could just be because I had to use the Android phone instead of my current iPhone). But once the first node was up and running everything was fine and it connected really easily. You can set up parental controls (which I did not do), set up device prioritization (which I did do), and allow guest access (which I did not do). You can also receive notifications if one of the nodes is offline. Additionally, you can test the speed of your connection. After it is finished testing the speed of your connection, it also tells you what your wi-fi can handle at the download and upload speed it found in the test. So it is a good product, which is pretty easy to set up, and I am happy with it overall. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I installed all 3 items around my home. Could not get them to co-operate with my home wi-fi ( Frontier ). Returned product.

The setup process with the Linksys app is a cinch. Just open the app and follow the prompts. If you can read and tie your shoes, you can set up this system. Choose where to place the pods ahead of time, and it will go smoothly. The only small setback is the size of the power adapters. They are about 3"x3"X1.5", so arranging other plugs around the adapter may be necessary. The speed of the system is impressive. It effortlessly handles streaming videos and multiple gaming consoles at the same time. I paired my Velop with a Netgear CM1000 and haven't tripped on any lag yet. The broadcast area is amazing too. My entire home and most of my front yard, garage, and back yard have a decent signal. The whole of the house is a full-strength signal. Forget those wifi signal boosters. Those things are Band-Aids. Just fill your home with a high speed, consistent network.

Once a day the nodes disconnect from the network and need to be reset. Googling the problem suggests it is unsolved and very common.

Spent hours on the phone with tech support trying to get this system to work. After several days of struggling with it I gave up and returned it to BB.

I dont receive good Velocity via wifi, not easy to config, to expensive for the result

Having recently installed Google Wi-fi in my home, I had some expectations from this system, and it did not disappoint. The installation was a snap. I configured the main (first) tower from my internet box, which took about 10 minutes using the app from the Google Play store. Once the tower was located, I was able to configure my router name and password without any issue. Adding the two additional routers in my home took about 5 minutes each to locate, configure, and test. This was similar, and in some ways better than the Google Wi-fi. Each connected tower showed on my app that I'd placed it in an ideal position for optimal wi-fi coverage. They say these towers will cover 6,000 sq. ft, regardless of what floor of the home they are on. This is the case. With Google Wi-Fi, I had to make sure that the additional wi-fi units were at least within 2 rooms of each other. With this system, I placed a tower in my master bedroom in the upstairs front of the house, and another tower directly below that in the living room. The main is located 3 rooms away, and coverage is still amazing. My home has nearly 20 devices connected to my wi-fi, and I'm able to prioritize what device takes priority. I'm also able to pause my children's devices, should I need to (during dinner and homework time). Overall, this system is highly recommended.

Signal is very unstable, take forever to reset, signal keep dropping all the time, save your money and buy Orbi Wifi 6 Mesh.

Very slow speed. Returned and bought one model up and happy with current one.

I have moved these to my second house instead of buying new. At first, the limitations of of configuration after coming from DD-WRT seemed annoying, but with local logon I found that it really did do what I needed including remote service to check local cameras and video storage. The signal strength, coverage and speed are super and since my phones and laptops and tvs don't use AX, this tri-band setup using wired back-haul gives me great connection capability throughout the home and even more than 100 yards away.

Worked well for 18 months and then stopped working. Super disappointing.

Disappointed in thus purchase, I haven't had it long and already having problems with the connections.

Works fine for a few months, thenthe dropping started. The app is slow and not reliable.
