Easy to set up. Works great. Colored lights make it user friendly. When lost connection after power interruption, technical support patiently walked me through steps to re-connect. Highly recommend.

Easy set up, great coverage, single ssid for the various radios, unobtrusive. Be nice to be able to see more details in the configuration (is backhaul working, etc). Expensive, but I bought it!

Easy setup and amazing coverage no matter where in the house. Can also rename 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands to ensure streaming devices get the best bandwidth. Highly recommend this for anyone with a large home!

I must admit I am impressed with Linksys Velop. First of all, I previously had a arris modem/route. My download speed was 0.32 mbps and upload averaged 6.41 mbps. After installing Velop, my upload speed increased to 235 mbps and upload 12 mbps. Impressive. Setup was easy and simple. I order Geek Squad to set up Velop for me. I ended up cancelling Geek Squad because set up was so simple. I recommend upgrading modem with the mesh system. I recommend Velop over Obri/eero d/t each Velop unit being identical meaning you can make any unit the home unit. Each unit having 2 WAN ports. This means you can connect a "non-wireless" device into any Velop unit, giving it internet access. You definitely cannot do with Eero beacons.

I got the 3 pack and they were pretty easy to setup and have great range. I had an issue with one of them having a lose screw in it and Linksys just sent me a Single node so I didn't have to send all of them back.

I've been setting up wifi networks for almost 20 years now. This is the easiest one I've ever done. Linksys hit a home run with Velop. Just follow the directions and you will be up and running in no time. I now have full coverage throughout my entire 4000 Sq ft home and at the speed my isp offers. One word of advice!!! Follow the directions for setup!! I have another wifi network that was up and running during installation that caused me some minor grief. Turned it off and installation was flawless. My only gripe is the lack of administrative settings or more like no admin settings. I guess that something had to be sacrificed to create a simplified setup. Hopefully Linksys will allow more administrative control in future updates.

Finally, one strong network covers my whole house

Before I bought this system, I ran 3 distinct networks in my home. My house is less than 2,000 sq ft, but was built in the 1970s and seems to block a limit the wifi signal. I easily installed this system and turned off all of my wifi routers, leaving them in their place to serve as Ethernet cable extenders. The Velop was easy to set up and, once one of my devices (iPhone) connected to my new network, all my other devices automatically logged on to the network (iPad, Macs, AppleTV) without my having to enter the password - thank you Apple for integrating my stuff. Finally, I can go anywhere in my house (or yards) and know I have a strong signal without having to check which network is providing the access! Glad I made this purchase!

I have been looking for a wifi router that would cover my whole home with out the need of repeaters. This is the only one that can cover 5200 sg ft. With out any issues. The setup was fast and easy. I love it.

I have had many different routers and extenders, but nothing so simple to set up and covers so much area inside and out of my home. It is just what I needed for all the different devices that I have in my home.

Best Network system I have seen

My prior network, I had the Linksys EA8500 MiMo. I was not able to get more than 12Mbps. With the Velop, My MINIMUM has been 40 Mbps. Used multiple sources to test throughput (Cox and the Linksys App) and they were the exact same. I also like the fact that each node has 2 Ethernet ports to it (although the primary Node one is taken by the Modem so if you have more devices you have to buy a switch). Another feature that I like, is that unlike Extenders, I do not have to jump from the router to the extender, it is now one network throughout the house. The system also automatically determines the best connection frequency (2.4 Ghz or 5.0 Ghz) for my device as I go throughout the house and will adjust to the frequency as needed

I have purchased several of these. So much better coverage than single units. Easy to set up. This will help me plan all my Low Voltage runs in housing. It works where there is stucco, plaster, large homes.

This Linksys Velop boasts WiFi coverage of 6,000+ square feet - and as it turns out - this claim appears to be true! Our household put this promise to the test in our summer vacation rental where we had numerous people and several families all surfing on the same network, in a large home, and we did not hear a single complaint about dead zones, slow speeds or lack of connectivity. To test this product even further, our brother-in-law brought his Eero system (as he thought this was a better product) - plugged it in - and we saw a marked difference in mesh coverage. Internet access is an important part of our family vacation(s) - and I am more than pleased to say that the Linksys Velop delivered in spades.

Strong signal & crazy easy to setup!

I finally got tired of “slow internet” errors on my phone/tablet & 1-2 bar wireless signals in the bedrooms & yard and decided to try this mesh wireless system. My fairly new & expensive Night Hawk gaming router wasn’t cutting it even for our 1 story, 2000 sq foot house with the router placed in the middle of the house, up high & away from the microwave and other things would impact the signal. I bought the Velop a few months ago, but have been delaying the setup because it’s always a pain getting the large number of Internet connected devices we have, working on new WiFi, especially the Honeywell thermostat and other devices that still only work on 2.4 GHz. Last night I got brave and was stunned at how easy the setup was! The Linksys phone app literally walked me through, step by step, from disconnecting my existing wireless router to placing each Velop node, using my cell service until my new system was up and running. I literally just physically placed the nodes, picked my wireless network name and admin and network passwords & the app automatically configured all 3 nodes to work together. The app even includes a speed test & I was able to connect to the internet as soon as the first node was up. There’s just one status light on each node that clearly indicate where you are in the setup....so simple & clear. Since I used the same SSID & password from my old wireless router, everything reconnected flawlessly! I did have to log back into wireless on a couple of devices, but there were no problems. Even my awesome, but persnickety 2.4 gig thermostat had no trouble connecting via the new Velop system. And finally I’ve got full signal everywhere in the house, plus from & back yard for Hue lights & security cameras. My signal was so bad before that my Phillips Hue app only connected about 50% of the time, but that is no longer a problem! The only downside is that each node only has 2 Ethernet ports & for your 1st node, one port is used to connect to your cable modem. So be sure you get enough Velop nodes for everything that needs to be physically connected to your wireless router. This 3 node system had what I needed, plus 2 extra ports for growth of my home automation empire. I do have a couple of 5 GHz capable devices that seem to randomly flip down to the 2.4 band so I need to look into that, but they all still work well. I only know because I’m a geek and I checked all the devices periodically. :) I was worried that physically connecting my Hue or security camera hubs to Velop nodes that weren’t in the center of the house would cause issues, but they are actually connecting better than with my old router. I am an expert in network install and troubleshooting so I usually skip the setup apps and just do it all manually, but this automatic setup is so well designed that I didn’t have to revert to manual setup. I think even someone with very, very little technical knowledge could successfully get this system working on their first try, in 30 minutes.

Bought the three pack and it arrived yesterday. Immediately opened the box, looked it over, unplugged my Airport Extreme, plugged in the first Velop node, and presto!! I was connected to the world wide web. Went downstairs with node #2 and plugged it in and a few short seconds later, node #2 was connected to node #1. Same story with node #3 in my daughter's bedroom. Awesomely easy trouble free setup. Great coverage throughout my house. My previous Airport Extreme setup left many dead spots around my house but now no more dead spots!!! I highly recommend Linksys Velop.

The wifi coverage is very good, but I thought thee speed was just average. I also have another router running , so setup was a little tricky. Setup probably would have been a piece of cake if I didn't already have an exisiting network. The one main feature that I really liked was the phone app

The Velop Mesh Wi-Fi system is a solid product. The setup is very simple right out of the box. The app that it uses is very user friendly and informative. I had the entire system set up within 30 minutes or less. Since it's been set up, we have experienced consistent stable connection throughout our entire home. We have also not experienced ANY drops in signal to any of our devices (20+). It's stable through streaming and gaming along with other daily use. If you're on the fence about this product definitely dive in and give it a go. On a side note, the Velop system replaced our new (now returned) Netgear Nighthawk X6S AC4000 which was an unstable nightmare.

I purchased this to have at the earliest possible time, but due to weather problems in Portland, it was over a week late. I could of bought it at a store sooner... As far as the install, the first two nodes went very easy but the problem was the third one. I had to bring it back closer to the other nodes to get it to synch up with the system. I bought this due to the size of my house, 3,200 square foot on two floors, and wanted better coverage without loosing band with. The coverage is good but not quite as good as I wanted it. For the price, you would like the entire house covered at full bars... other then that, it seems to be working fine.
