Great for those who are upgrading their smart home or just plain want the best wifi coverage.

Overall, I'm happy with the system so far. When something goes wrong such as a component disconnecting, I promptly get a notification on my phone. I also like the device prioritization feature. I don't like that I cannot check the connection status/internet speed on each router. Internet speed test as I'm writing this my download speed is 222.39 Mbps on my Mac connected via WIFI and located in the same room as the case router. The middle router registered at 49.41 Mbps. On the router located farthest from the base station my connection speed is 31.49 Mbps. There is clear weakening of the signal as you move farther away. We have Xfinity blast internet. Overall, we're happy with the Linksys system. The iPhone app interface could be better. I would recommend this system to anyone who would like to improve their wifi. We live in a house with unique signal challenges such as multiple brick wall and the fact that most of our house is built into the earth (aka "an earth berm" home.)

We always had issues with trying to stream videos, it always kept buffering. After purchasing the Linksys Velop 2pk our issues have been resolved, all our devices work great. Our desktop usually only had 1 bar, now all bars are lit. The system guides you with easy steps to set up.

Overall, it's a great performing mesh router and coverage throughout the home is great. At the moment, the product still needs some feature additions and more customiZation options, but I would recommend it if you just want great coverage over a large home.

Own 2 storie house and used to have dead spot on the second floor I placed 1 of the velop node in the basement and the other node on the first floor since then haven't had an anymore dead spot or slow internet speed on first floor. Also give me the entire 200mbs through out the house.

Was easiest network setup I've ever done. Whole house with one network. Upstairs and down, three levels. No more dropped access between office, family room, bedrooms, garage, kitchen. Invisible switching from one area to another. Sleek looking but very dicreet. Lightening fast! We have several devices hooked up and using the network all at once, both hard-wired and via WiFi. Sometimes all four of us streaming video all at the same time without slow down. Best home network ever. Simple interface through my smart phone. Easy on/off guest network capability. On/Off parental control. And most importantly, no more complaints of dropped signals from my wife and the rest of the family! I have nothing bad to say! I'm using it right now on my tablet to post this! It's worth saying again, amazing speed. Huge difference. Everyone noticed immediately. Finally taking full advantage of our bandwidth through cable modem. Happy I pulled the trigger on this one.

I have used eero, google wifi, and velop. I must say velop crushed the others but still has much room for improvement. With all systems in the same setting (a 4 level home 320mbps isp), velop greatly outperformed the rest. Google wifi had me lagging while gaming and buffering while playing Netflix. Eero was similar to google wifi however slightly more reliable from what I recall. With velop the buffering is far and few between but still there. Being that the price is set at a steep $500 I expected more from Linksys. Unless you absolutely need a mesh system I would recommend going with the ac2200 or higher model Asus router at half the cost. I would recommend if you a must have mesh system. linksys being linksys I think it's safe to expect a stream of fixes, updates, and patches that will make the system better. With the possessor and power this system provides you can't go wrong.

Hardware quality is good. Setup was reasonably easy after a trip to web site for info on a ‘wired’ system. Coverage is fantastic, no dead areas at all in 3400 sq ft home. The advertised promised of ‘Full speed wifi’ could not be met. At best I get 50%, on average about 35%. Spent 3 hours on phone with tech support, they finally bumped me up to next level. Spent another hour with them and still no change. Was promised a 3rd level tech would be in touch with me. Still waiting. Must say that tech support was professional, intelligent, and courteous.

I am having fantastic results with this system! The only drawbacks came from having to restart the setup two separate times for unexplainable reasons. Even with that, setup only took about 30 minutes, and the speed tests at the fringes of my coverage are still blazingly fast.

The nodes didn’t connect well. My internet providers wireless router ended up being more reliable. I bought for larger than my house SF, but it wouldn’t reach. I will look at other brands in the future.

I live in a house built in 1936. It's been rehabbed over the years. But the thick walls of plaster and lathe as well as a tin ceiling in one of the main rooms has always meant our WiFi was dicey at best. When I bought the first two Velops, all that changed. Within 30 minutes of opening up the box I had a base Velop downstairs by the fiber optic router and a secondary one upstairs in my wife's studio. The only areas that were not as well served were in the rear of the house. I just added a third velops which has eliminated the weak spots altogether! Of course this came a year after the first two. In the interim, I had changed phones, not added the Linksys app, and forgotten my admin password... Linksys Customer Service to the rescue! Within a half hour (again) they had my new Velop up and connected. What service! What an excellent product!

I love the Velop!!! Been through the Netgear Orbi and the rest of the mesh routers and was very skeptical but I'm sold!!! Easy setup and connects and stays connected. Strong signals all over my house in which I've had to get extender after extender. This thing just works!!!

I honestly was in need of an upgrade. Like many others I had been paying a lease on m modem/router. Purchasing this velop was one of the best investments. I noticed the difference right away in terms of speed and the setup was really easy ! Highly recommend this to everyone !

Easy to setup, and great wi-fi. I've upgraded my wireless router from the cable company, but the signal has always been weak. I even thought the problem was my 50Mb service. Linksys Velop fixed it all. The signal is strong throughout the house and outside on a 1-acre lot.

I live in a two story home about 3400sqft. I bought a two pack system and it covers the home and even out by the pool. It was a little hard to set up, the firmware was different on each unit out of the box, but I called tech support and they got me up and running. Love it.

Love this WiFi Mesh. It was recommended by the Best Buy technician and I could not be happier. I now have super fast internet access throughout my large home including at poolside which is on another level of my home. Would definitely recommend. Pricey but worth it!!!

This router just works. Set-up took less than 10 minutes total time for all three nodes and was very smooth. All my wireless devices connected as soon as I changed the SSID and wireless password to what my old router had. I read a lot of comments about no browser interface, but there is one. Read the posts on the Linksys boards and there are instructions on how to get to the browser interface. This is a great router. I have a three floor house and in the past could only get full speed in the same room as the router. I did speed tests with my wireless laptop to speedtest.net and I get my full internet download speed (60mbps) from anywhere in my house. It even works at the far end of my patio, where in the past I had no wireless connectivity. Finally - no dead spots! Wireless file transfers within my network are so much faster than before. So far I have no complaints with this and am very happy I made this purchase.

With my old router I would get nearly my full 100Mbps in my room (near the router) but only 10-20Mbps downstairs in my living room. With the Velop, I have seen 115Mbps in my living room. That's with only two set up (three is over kill for my house at 1700 square feet).

I replaced my Apple Time Capsule with 3 Velop nodes. I can now reach every corner of 5,000 sq ft house. Couldn't do that before. Called customer service once and they walked me through entire set up -- that compensated for sparse documentation included in package.
