So my current router is the AC5400 with an extender. I stream Roku throughout the house and have the occasional signal drop. I thought when these come in, I'd be able to set them up around the house and not have many issues. To my surprise, I can't even get them to install. I downloaded the app to my Google Pixel xl and I've tried this afternoon and tonight to get one of the cubes to install. Regardless of what I do, I get the spinning wheel of death on a screen. Which screen it decides to do it on varies, but I got as far and configuring the network and let the wheel spin for 30 minutes...nada. I tried going back so it could take another go at it. still nada. I came to Best Buy.com to read the reviews and I see some issues, but for the most part it looks as if others are able to get them to work. I saw a review where Linksys reps left a user hanging, so that was out of the question. I'm already fed up, I don't need reps leaving me on hold. Also every time I almost get this system to run and it fails, I have to reboot my modem and old router numerous times to get dns to work again. So for now, this goes back into the pretty box and placed on the shelf. I'm happy with the AC5400 and extender. If Linksys reads this and has any solutions for me, they are welcome to contact me. For now I'm done trying to get them to work. Pros: Pretty Nice box Well packaged Cons; Not user friendly Android app is flaky Headache inducing product. Not easy install as stated in the simple brochure.

I bought the Velop because the Bestbuy rep said it would be easy to set up using the Linksys app. It was easy, but I still need to call Lynksys to get the first node up. They were knowledgeable and very helpful.

Easy setup for home users. For advanced users, there are plenty of features available to expand the capabilities much further. Only rough spot is migration from one SSID to another if you are removing an old wireless system.

I love my Linksys Velop. My wifi has never been this reliable. I got it in hopes it would be able to handle all the device in my house and give them all roughly the same great fast internet speeds. Well it does that just fine or better yet it excels in doing this. The range of the singals are so large that my friends entire house next to mine even with a street inbetween us is getting the same signal. Full connectivity and no signal drop what so ever. This is speachless. Love what you've done linksys keep up the good work. Hope I win with my bizzar story which is in fact 100% true. Contact me if you want to confirm it lol. Ps: The OG Velop

I love this product. I bought the twin routers and connected as node. It is clean, super fast, and took away all my wifi reception problems. I like the fact that only one network name is used with a triband modes. I like it!!

I've always had issues getting the whole house covered with reliable and fast wifi. I tried all the top of the line routers with mixed results, until now... I have 21 devices connected to the network distributed through inside and outside the house: 5 tablets, 3 laptops, 6 HD security cámaras, 3 streaming devices, a game console, and 3 telephones. All devices are connected simultaneously to the network, downloading and uploading data without a problem. The only thing I noticed could be improved is the handoff of the device connection from one node to another. It sometimes takes a few minutes for the handoff to occur. While it happens, the data transfer speed degrades as you walk further away from the first node.

I had the linksys ea9500 router awesome router but by default the further you get away from router speeds decrease with the velop speed stays the same no matterm where you go and you can build on the system by adding more nodes

These were super easy to setup. My signal strength issues with my old router are non existent now. The only negative thing I can say is the Parental Controls aren't as robust as my previous Linksys Routers.

Simply the best. I had an older AC router that worked fine but buying this router blows it out of the water. Simple setup did not give me a headache like most older routers seamless app allows for easy setup and configuration.

The system was very easy to start up. It is providing excellent coverage throughout my 2 story home (over 5000 ft.²). I even have good coverage outside in my large yard (4 acres). Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Simplest setup I've ever done for a router! Literally just plugged it in and followed the steps on the app. I was done in 5 minutes. Haven't had any issues with the wi-fi yet and I love being able to prioritize devices!

I was skeptical as to if I needed one tower or two to get coverage outdoors and in my detached garage. Two (one downstairs in a central location and the other upstairs near the back windows) are working just fine so far!
