    Worth the cost

We have about 14 wifi devices in our home. While we get 50 Mbps speed into the modem; due to interference, number of devices, etc... I could only get a max of 16 Mbps to my PC. I researched several mesh systems including Google, Eero, Orbi, etc.. and settled on Lynkys after some recent reviews of Orbi said that some updates had been causing issues. Setting up the Lynkys nodes was fairly easy with the app. The only issue I had was the second one was a bit too far away for initial setup. I moved it closer to complete the sync and then moved it back where I wanted afterwards. Once everything was connected I was pulling stable 46+ Mbps to all devices and so far there hasn't been any issues connecting

    Great solution for Wi-Fi signal

Live in the second floor of my house and the Wi-Fi extender I had wasn't giving a reliable connection strength for any of my wireless devices. Velop totally solved that without diluting the signal strength.

I set up this router only using my phone and some very easy to understand instructions. It talks you easily through set up and does most of the work for you. It is super powerful for my apartment. I love it.

Night and day difference from my old Linksys AC Router. I have 100% full speed coverage everywhere in my house, and even out in my garage now! Definitely recommend to anyone with spotty wifi or speed issues.

Excellent but not a snap to deploy

Having had no problems setting up a LUMA in our wooden vacation home, I chose Velops for our larger principal residence because of its intrinsically greater coverage, This 3000 sqft house consists of an adobe block exterior and plaster walls and ceilings inside. No drywall. Hence, each room was kind a Faraday pail. Hence, the installation was more difficult than than the LUMA. Each node had to be located within, say, 10 feet of the first one to acquire information and "sync" with the initial node. Only after that could the node be moved to a more distant location. Each sync needed to be done at least twice before completion. But, after learning how to do that, Velops works very well. It has a huge range.

After reading many reviews and comparisons, the extra few dollars were worth it. Easy set-up and really bridged the dead spots in my home without sacrificing signal strength, and all on the same network!

We were told to triangulate this product in our house after struggling to get wifi coverage in all areas. This works great and covers every area including outside beyond the sidewalk!

Great performance, a little tricky to set-up

I am getting great Wi-Fi coverage and performance across our large 4 floor house, from basement to attic. I am using 3 nodes. It took a bit of trial and error to get the 2nd and 3rd node connected. I had to set-up the 2nd node right next to the 1st one. Otherwise, it kept telling me I was out of range. I put it back to my desired location and everything worked great from there, including setting-up the 3rd node. This seems like an easier and less expensive way to go than using access points. I do wish that you could access the router settings from Windows. The ability to adjust the router settings seems somewhat limited, but sufficient for now.

This router is only suitable if you don't need any kind of administrative control over it. Otherwise, you will struggle to even get access to its web page. Its worse because the ONLY way to get started is trough an Android / Mac app. Once you have done the first steps, if you want more of your router, you need to fool the device to access the web page. But, the good thing is that after all suffering to configure, you can even forget about the device. Never freezes, has great coverage and the design gives a nice look to your desk.

I am only giving it 4 stars it really deserves 4.5 stars. I have had issues with my wifi for quite a while through TWC, tried everything movin the router, rebooting all the time etc... kids kept dropping signal, work calls woudl drop, i finally said ok lets try this. WOW it is easy to seet up, and gets great signal. The only down side to this other than price is #1 you dont get a seperate 2.4 and 5ghz choice, it is all appearing as one. #2 the guest network feature produced so much noise when TWC did come out it was killing alot of the reception/signal. If you can afford it, this is a great unit, and will solve the slow issues!

    This system is excellent

I replaced my FIOS system with Charter Spectrum. My wifi on the FIOS system was aided by a bridge upstairs through the in house coax system. Even so, coverage was problematic in parts of the house due to certain walls, and I used a plug in wireless extender as well. The Charter spectrum supplied router would not do the job, so I looked into powerful conventional wifi routers with extenders. The Best Buy rep convinced my to try a mesh system like this one as they were selling very well. It works, and it worth the money. Easy to deploy, one wireless net throughout the house with great coverage and throughput. Its everything one hopes for a wireless home system.

Purchased four nodes..worked amazingly well initially. However, after a short period of time it became unreliable. I called service and they would not fix it unless I paid a 300 or $400 fee first! System so unreliable in the long term and I would not recommend this system if you want a long-term solution to your Internet connectivity issues.

it is very easy to setup, I have them as a wired Ethernet backplane, but you must setup as wireless units, and then reboot and wire with Ethernet, they will change mode automatically
