It didn't turn out to be plug and play. But tech support was there and walked me through a manual setup easy enough, but it did take some time. Once installed, I was quite happy. Areas of the apartment that would get 70 Mbps with the Spectrum router and an extender, now gets 180 Mbps. The signal is also far more stable, even the local ethernet cable connection is more stable.

Before I bought Velop I had a range extender and a pretty good router setup in my house the only problem was that the range extender always messed with connection. My devices would never seamlessly switch between the router and extender when I moved around the house and it became very annoying. I have been waiting for a good "whole home mesh" system to try and see if that would fix my issues. Velop is the fastest I've seen and I like the linksys brand, now that I have it all my problems seem to be fixed. I've had it just under a week as of now and my connection all around the house is much better.

Have an older home (year 1988, 2,000Sq ft) with dead spots. Bought the 3 pack and the entire house appears to have a great wifi signal so far. Really fast setup(under 20mins). After the setup is done you do not have to switch between networks as you walk around to the separate nodes, saves so much time and the nodes look way better than those ugly range extenders. App is really easy to work with, however, is very basic. I have seen the signal weaken on the opposite site of my house from time to time...might need to rearrange my nodes or buy a 4th one.

Although the set up with the mobile app is not very efficient, the system itself is. My house is about 10000 sqft (including basement) and with 6 nodes I have amazing wifi in every corner of it. I probably didnt need a 6th node because 5 would have been sufficient but since it was more cost effective to buy in packs I decided to go with 6 total nodes. The best part about mesh wifi is that you do not need to switch SSIDs, the velop system will automatically connect you to the closest node you are at which is a huge convenience.

This system was as simple as any other to setup. I appreciate the in-app ability to reserve IP addresses, setup port forwarding, etc. Overall good connection.

Easy to set up and provides good coverage over large house. Lack of ports is definitely not convenient. time will tell, but happy for now.

Not sure how we lived without this system before. Excellent whole house coverage. Extremely dependable. Great customer support as well.

I have a two story 3600 square foot home, and had problems with coverage upstairs from a quality wifi router, even using a wifi extender. This system was very easy to setup with smartphone with app and has worked great, with just as good download/upload upstairs as downstairs without degradation of speed. I read the reviews before purchasing and saw where some people had issues setting up, but the process for me was nearly effortless and without a glitch. I have cable internet at my house. I have been pleased with the performance thus far, for about 2 to 3 weeks now.

Does the job in my large two story house. I had geek squad set it up.

Easy to install and don't need a computer. I went in for a wifi booster and learned this was the actual way to go...been totally completely satisfied

Replaced an old wireless router and extender that would never work together. Seamless connection and great streaming ability. Very easy to set up.

This was very simple to set up. I have enjoyed the app ( Basic but has all the functions necessary to control remotely). Using in a rental property.

Love the Velop. It was by far the easiest WiFi set up that I've done. All you have to do is download the app and follow the instructions in the app.

Easy to setup, high speed internet throughout your house, no dead spots, I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with over 1200sqf and there are a lot of noise from other neighbors wifi, open kitchen with microwave that all could cause a bad/poor Wi-Fi. Not with Velop. It works flawlessly, there are still some areas of improvements, like adding a more advanced settings, setting WAN/ISP DNS, etc. But as this is a fairly new system I do believe the team is working hard on those improvements. Also the dedicated support line is amazing and quick to support you.

I was pretty nervous about getting another Lilnkys router after having the same one since 2008 about speaking to the rep he told me this would be a better invest then the blackhawk I figured I had to give it a chance since buying it was easy to set up and it goes lighting fast which is great to see compared to what I thought it would be like I am very satisfied and I would say anyone on the fence about this router I would def. say get it because so far I am getting blazing fast speed with my cable internet.

Great system, was able to get strong wifi signal through my walls which have interfered with other wifi systems. Very happy with purchase.
