Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. A limited number of Ethernet ports was also a recurring point of feedback.

Best Wifi system I have had. Range is excellent and can get signal all over the house and outside the house, almost to the end of the driveway. Highly recommend!

This was very easy to set up. The only issue I had was having a second WiFi in the house was a little confusing. We were told later if we use the same name and password as our old WiFi it would work seamlessly and it does.

We struggled for years usin the Apple airport utilities routers, NEVER worked consistently or very fast. This plug and play system is 100% faster and more reliable. No longer do I lose my tv steam when the wife and kids start using their devices. Works awesome.

This is my first mesh network setup and it has been great so far. My speeds have been fast and expected and I've only had one time that I've needed to re-pair one of the units to the main unit. Overall I would recommend.

Just not for AT&T Uverse. Didn't work well, but what does with AT&T. I would definitely recommend Velop to anyone else. Easy to set up and worked seamlessly for internet. Not so much with Uverse TV unless I bridged it. Don't blame Linksys, though. Great product.

These are really great mesh routers...if they are on sale. They act as advertised and are very easy to setup. The app gives you a lot of control and even lets you set them up as motion sensors

Had used a standard Linksys router for WiFi before converting to he mesh system. Wireless speeds have dramatically improved and the product was very easy to set up. A little on the pricey side, but the value is worth the investment.

These routers are absolutely amazing! Super easy to set up, very sleek looking in case it’s out in the open, and small enough to tuck behind the TV. We have two of these right now throughout the house and it’s works wonders!

I had high hopes after reading reviews. I was hugely disappointed. Wouldn't stay connected to internet, needed hard reset every few days. Strong signal when it would stay connected. Ditched it for Ubiquiti Amplifi HD system--works perfectly.

      Hi, Chris0524,

It could be the outdated firmware or the misconfiguration of the settings which is causing your Velop System to drop the connection. We regret to hear that you already gave up the product as we could have you assisted by one of our Escalation Engineers for a fix.

Should you wish to give it another chance in the future, feel free to contact us anytime at LinksysCares@linksys.com. We'd be more than willing to serve you.

      Regards,

Purchased several months ago to get greater coverage on my lanai, tested speeds are impressive, signal dropped a few times, but overall pleased with purchase. Purchased on sale and could not beat the price.

Tried one of those signal boosters and it failed me miserably. Salesman told me they get returned frequently. He recommended this and I saw an immediate and measurable improvement throughout the entire house on all devices.

Easier to set up than I thought it would be, it has been dependable. While other wi fi networks here glitch and drop connections this one charges on. It even looks like it detected an issue and corrected it.

Works fine - doesn't do what the salesman said it did. You need to create a new network as opposed to it working with your existing network. Range is decent, better than xfinity basic system already installed. One of the nodes will be needed to sit adjacent to your existing router or at least close enough to connect a cable. I had been looking for more of a repeater type device which would amplify the existing wifi and was told by the salesman that that is exactly what these do. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I would only recommend these if you need a large area covered, and then I would recommend that you buy more than the two-pack.

I walked into the Riverbank, CA store to ask about a WiFi entension system. The agent that assisted me was super. He knew exactly what I needed. Yes it was a little expensive but it extended my WiFi through out my home without drilling holes and running wires!

I bought this for a home office in a separate part of my home and i very much satisfied with this purchase. The setup was easy. The app allows me to use the parental controls and create an internet schedule for every device on my home wifi network.
