Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. The setup is super simple the app is easy to navigate and use. No need to be a network engineer anymore. Plug and play. A bit pricey but the coverage range makes it worth every penny. Handles 14+ devices and gig speeds no issues. Will be adding more nodes

I haven’t opened the box yet but for the price and coverage of the product I’m excited to have it. Before even purchasing the product, the Best Buy team recommended it for ease of set up as well

Two story house. Before, I used two separate routers to create a strong enough signal. I had weak points all over at the fringes of the signals. Now I have strong and fast network throughout the house “There can be only one!”

This is the best on the market from my research. It performs perfectly. I had a little trouble setting up but the app helped me through it with ease. This is a really good product my internet speed increased and it works well to replace your rental from Comcast.

The Linksys Velop AC2200 - units were easy to install using the Linksys APP on my phone. However, they do seem to need to be restarted from time to time to maintain the link to the router unit.

Hooked this system into my modem and using the app, had my network created and running in about 5 minutes. Connected other two nodes in less time than that. Covers my 3500 sf house like a champ. Even covers the majority of my property (quarter acre lot).

Very cool system one on each level of the house that needs internet. Set up was easy, they have been running for a few months now with issues. Phone app is a nice way to checkup on the routers status.

I replaced my Orbi system with Velop. Orbi had constant firmware updates that caused my Internet to disappear - very fun! Velop is working well so far. Easy setup, flawless connectivity, cool app. I'm covering about 6200 sq ft and it's working great.

TP-LINK Owners! - Word of Caution

I purchased a Linksys AC5400 one year ago this month. I patiently suffered through 12 months of figuring out why I was experiencing constant disconnects on the 2.4 GHz band and finally gave up and used my 2 year protection plan to return that product last week. On the recommendation of a BestBuy employee, I decided to try another Linksys product, the Velop Tri-Band Mesh system. I was able to get the first main node up and running rather quickly. My worries began to fade as progress was going so well. All of my devices were working excellent. Then I made the move to add the 2nd node. Here's where I began to hang my head in disgust again. 2nd Node would NOT connect, and not only that, when I came out to the main room with the Main Node, all of my TP-Link smart switches were flashing, meaning they were having WiFi issues. The install of the 2nd node hung, and I rebooted the main node while disconnecting the 2nd Node. After reboot, all seemed ok. I decided to try to install the 2nd Node in the basement, and even though the app on my phone hung, the 2nd Node actually became connected to the Main Node. I waited through the firmware upgrade of the 2nd Node, and all seemed to be working. I then went back to the same exact location as my first attempt on the 2nd Node, and went through the install of the 3rd node. To my surprise, this went rather smoothly. Firmware upgraded and all seemed to be working well. All of this took place four days ago. Last night, while watching TV, I noticed that my TP-Link smart switches were once again randomly flashing. Looking at the KASA app, several of my TP-Link Smart Bulbs and switches were not connected to the App. My disgust returned again. I watched for a few hours as my switches connected and disconnected. Watched as I could not turn off my smart bulbs when going to bed, even turning off my bulbs to 'reboot' them. Then, I do the internet search, and imagine that.....I find that this is a rather annoying and frustrating issue for many people. Here are a couple of links: https://community.linksys.com/t5/Velop-Whole-Home-Wi-Fi/PSA-1-1-10-197424-for-WHW0301-WHW0302-WHW0303-posted/m-p/1419283/highlight/false#M20109 https://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=274497 https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/176418 It appears that the Velop system is not all it's cracked up to be in seamless and smooth operation. I did get the 2 Year plan on this system as well, and will watch for a little while to see if things get corrected, and if not, I will have to move on to some other product promising great things.....

DESIGN I love that you plug the ethernet and power cables in the BOTTOM of each unit giving it a cleaner look with all the cables being threaded through a small rubber corner cutout. The unit itself is tall but at least the outside looks nice enough to blend in with different room decors. There is a small led light on top that shows whether the unit is connected(Blue), being setup(Purple), disconnected(Red) or the connection is weak(Yellow). SETUP Upon opening the Linksys box I feel a great sense of simplicity and easy installation coming ahead as all the nodes, power adapters and quick start guides are neatly placed inside. Like previous Wi-Fi systems I have tested, setup requires you to download an app either on your phone/tablet. I love the illustrated installation steps the Linksys app provides. I had to restart the setup process because it was taking too long to finish the last configuration process but the 2nd time around had no issues. MANAGING SETTINGS/ADMIN The interface and options the app provides is great for beginners. It was very easy for me to locate the Wi-Fi Mode type, Port Forwarding and Parental Controls for example. The Velop also features Device Prioritization, Guest Access and VPN setup. I really like the option to change Parental Control and Device Prioritization via the Devices list, which simply displays the computers, phones, tablets, etc that are currently connected to my network. PERFORMANCE I live in a 2200 Sq. Ft. house and I have a 200Mbps download and 40 Mbps upload package with Optimum. With just 1 node setup, I am able to get 150+mbps download/10 mbps upload in the rear 2nd story bedroom. I have tested other Wi-Fi mesh systems and did not get close to that speed with just 1 unit. My current connection to the Velop is also extremely stable. To get close to 100% throughput in all rooms the other 2 nodes seem to be required perhaps due to my house's walls and flooring material. As I moved around the house my iPhone's connection remained excellent so the hand-off process between nodes is seamless. There is an option to find optimal wireless channels by utilizing an auto search feature. CONCLUSION This is easily the best Wi-Fi system I have ever used. The speed performance is terrific and signal strength and range are solid. The downside is the Linksys Velop is expensive. Setting up all the nodes is simple and managing the system is great for non technical users. PROS +Excellent Speed and Wi-Fi Coverage. +Intuitive Settings Dashboard +Extremely Stable Connection +Auto Channel Finder +Wires connect to bottom of units +Ideal for Non Technical Users CONS -Expensive -Units are little too bulky looking -Limited Advanced Settings

I spend weeks looking for the right product. I have gig speed internet with xfinity. I bought a new modem/router combo (nighthawk) and it improved but still was only getting about 315mps (14mps on xfi modem). Then I ended up using my xfinity modem on bridge mode with these routers and it works beautifully. Finally getting over gig speed to my devices. This mesh system is amazing. I don’t have a big house (about 3,700 square feet.) just that the layout is weird and all my rooms are on one counter of the house with a maze of hallways and doors and walls. This helped with speed but also the way the signal is distributed. It’s amazing. Recommend 100%

Got an instant boost in speed and network performance upon install. We had an older Spectrum modem, so I had to get help from tech support as the automatic setup didn't get it done. Tech support was great.
