i put 4 of these access points all over my house and hard wired 3 outa the 4( not needed) but had the wires already, so i have full wifi signal to each tower, one is connected wirelessly. great

Device is awesome no device has dropped WiFi because, considering buying a couple more to increase the signal...three is fine but a couple more would be better

I had a lot of dead zones in my apartment. so I decided to purchase the velop tri band wi-fi system to improve my wi-fi coverage in my apartment. It is easy to connect to your home network using the linksys wifi app. once I connect the nodes and tested the wifi coverage I had not 1 dead spot in the apartment. I live in a 4 story apartment building and I decided to test the coverage using the aforementioned linksys wifi app. I tested the coverage floor by floor and lo and behold I was able to connect to my router all the way to the first floor. ( I live on the 4th floor). I would most definitely recommend this to a friend.

This has made my WIFI so much faster and it was easy to place in the house. I bought 2 packs of them and set them around my house I don't have a slow spot in the house anymore.

Perfect for adding square footage range to our house. We now get internet in our basement, upstairs and In the garage without any issues. Would recommend.

Our internet was horrible and it was extremely slow until we bought this product. We can have over 5 devices going at a time and the speed is still super fast and streaming is quick.

This Wi-Fi mesh system is great. I have a 7000 square-foot house and I was able to cover the whole house with only three nodes. I got additional nodes anyways just in case.

Ever since the Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi system was put in we're finally getting good Wi-Fi all throughout our house and garage.

My parents and I live in the same apartment building. Rather than have them pay for internet, I purchase these towers and placed one in my apartment and one in theirs. Worked perfectly.

The Linksys Velop came packaged in a sturdy well packed and attractively designed box. Setting up the system was extremely easy. I had all three nodes up and running in less than 20 minutes. I’ve seen some reports of other user’s taking much longer but I found it to be a very simple process using the app. Just take the nodes out of the box, plug one into your modem and follow the on-screen instructions in the Linksys wi-fi app. I suggest deciding where you are going to place the nodes before beginning setup. Set them in their positions, and plug them in when the app prompts you to activate that node. The Linksys nodes have a well thought out design, looking modern and sleek. They can be placed anywhere throughout your house without looking too much like a piece of home networking gear. The units have an LED light alert system which will change different colors and blink depending upon the situation and are used during setup. I really like the Linksys app and find it very user friendly. You are able to see a list of devices that have connected and are currently connected to your network. You can change device names, icons and give a particular device priority over others. You can create a guest user account, test your internet speed, set parental controls, change notifications and more. Having this app available is really one of the big selling points for me, aside from the superb internet speed and coverage of the system, but the app is pretty great too! I use the Linksys Velop for my home wifi network and will typically have anywhere from 4-10 devices connected at one time. My old home network mesh wifi system alleviated the problems of my even older system, which were dead spots in far points in the house. But the Linksys does it even better! Some of the connected devices I use are smartphones, tablets, Smart TV, Smart Blu-ray player, Xbox One and others. The speeds never slow down, regardless of how many devices I have connected at once. Everything is much faster and smoother in general no matter what part of the house you are in or what device you are using. I believe this is because the Velop uses a tri-band signal whereas some of the others only use a dual-band signal. I’m extremely happy with the Linksys Velop and highly recommend this wifi system to anyone looking for good home coverage with high internet speeds while using multiple devices, that can be controlled with an easy to use app!

I purchased this to extend wifi coverage to our outdoor patio. Thought that I would make this purchase during the great Black Friday sales event. I am not really tech savvy, so I can't speak to measured improvements to system performance. Despite my limited knowledge, I was able to install and set the system up. Connected all users to this new system. Coverage is now extended as needed for time spent on our patio as well as for outdoor security devices that I am planning to add. System seems to be doing the job.

Simple to install. Fantastic coverage. Amazing WiFi speed (even at the edges of coverage area). Best of all... Kids no longer complain that their bedrooms are a WiFi dead zone. Worth every penny.

I have used this product for 30 days and it has done an excellent job in my home. I would recommend this product if your household uses a lot of items that link to the internet at once.

Purchased the Linksys router to extend my Wi-Fi through out my home because my current modem/router was not strong enough. Linksys works as needed and I recommend.

The Linksys Velop system works as advertised. In many areas of my 2 story 3500 sq ft house I was getting less than 8 Mbps using my Uverse Gateway, power line adapters and a dual band access point. After unhooking the power line and access point I simply turned off the Wi-Fi radios in my gateway and connected the 3 Velop devices one at a time as instructed. I now have 35-45 Mbps coverage everywhere in the house. My service provides 45 Mbps so I'm at max or close to it everywhere. Hooked my smart TV that was farthest away from the gateway directly to one of the Velop units and did away with the constant buffering I was getting using Netflix via my old Wi-Fi setup. Expensive but works like a charm!

Increased internet speed 6x over our 2 yr old routers. Great compact design. However, only has two ethernet ports each. We had to add switch to connect phones and older computers.

Two rooms had wifi signal problems. Bought this mesh system and no more weak signals. Also extended well into the backyard/deck. Overall very easy to set up.

This mesh system provides excellent internet coverage throughout our 2 story house. Speeds are consistently good and is a definite upgrade from our prior netgear nighthawk router.

Once each Linksys Velops learn each other the system is fabulous in other words the longer Velops work together the smarter they become. PS... the Linksys app also works great with system.

I'm not very tech savvy but set up was just as sales associate promised, extremely simple once I downloaded the app. The app walked me thru every step. Couldn't be more satisfied!
