||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it took almost 9 hours over a 2 day period working with the tech support folks to get all 3 nodes recognized and functioning . . uploaded the app several times, rebooted several times, etc. . . a bit of a nightmare in that regard . . . for $600 one might think it would be "plug-and-play" but definitely was not . . .but once it was all put together and (after many failed attempts) the diagnostic routine was completed, we now have by far the best wireless ever. Get yourself real mesh. I played around with all sorts of setups because I’ve had Netgear Nighthawk products forever. I tried their top of the line AX8 “mesh” extender and it was not as advertised. Everything I wanted that to be is what the Lynksis Velop is. Hands down best networking purchase I’ve made. If you need to upgrade your WiFi choose a Velop system.

The cable modem and the wifi network provided by Spectrum wasn't cutting it. The network as step by step but, you have to know a little about such things to troubleshoot as the network is setting up. The router had to set into "bridge mode" before the system would work at optimum efficiency. It works very well. Just make sure the speed of the service is 200mps plus or its a waste of time for streaming 4k content etc.

Our router was only 2 years old... With kids doing online schooling we purchased this. With needing internet in a 2 story house and in a detached garage 30’ from the house this was our solution. So far so good! It has solved the issue of our internet dropping out. We have one pod on the 2nd level, one pod in the center of the main floor and one pod in the shop.
