Placing one each at opposite ends of the house on the first floor, and then one upstairs, it resolved all problems. The only small negative is that it is sometimes a little slow. However, at least I can now get online in any room in our home.

I was hesitant to purchase since it seems too good to be true. I was replacing a Netgear R7800 router, our WiFi over the 2000 square foot two-story home has never been better. There is now a strong signal throughout our home,& outside that follows devices in motion. I also really love the app! Were able to turn off centain devices to get the kids attention!

Some units disappear from the mesh out of the blue, sometimes even rebooting the unit does not bring it back into the mesh, you have to reboot the entire system. If you have more than 2 hops (meaning the signal has to jump from one unit to another one and from there to another one), the speed start reducing drastically up to the point you cannot use it for broadcasting video. I tried all the troubleshooting from Linksys and still no improvement. Configuration is kind of difficult if you do not know basic networking, still not as complicated as an industrial grade router.

Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi really is all it's cracked up to be. It covers our entire house, on 4 levels, including basement and deck. With 3 college kids at home & everyone working remotely our Wi-Fi just wasn't cutting it. I did my homework and went with Linksys Velop AC2200. Now everyone is happy. Highly recommended.
