Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. This is a fabulous mesh network solution. I actually bought these as an addition to the three that i bought originally. I now have 2 in one home and 3 in the other. With three in a two story 3100 sq ft home with 2500 sq ft of deck space and 5 acres...i can get access from almost anywhere on the property. Setup is super simple and easy. I've never had an issue with them. I can manage both networks from the app. It is just really a perfect solution for us.

Pretty awesome mesh router.. i kind of got a deal buy getting it at $199 on sale at best buy .. there is no mesh router at that price.. everything is north of $300 .. quick and easy set up and i get 200mbps consistency in one room of the house where i got spotty connectivity and 50 mbps tops with a tp link repeater.. the internet plan has a max speed of 200 mbps so i am happy to be utilizing it to the max..

Short and sweet these are amazing. I replaced my Apple AirPort Extreme with these. Setup with the app took about 5 minutes per node. Speed with AirPort Extreme was 100mbps. With the velop it’s 175mbps. My ring cameras were barely connecting with AirPort Extreme but with velop they have twice the connection strength. Range is excellent, speed stays fast for nearly twice the distance of the AirPort Extreme. I will review again in a few months with an update.

Much better than the 9500EA for coverage.

I may have had a defective 9500EA but the customer service at Netgear is atrocious! Thank goodness I purchased at Best Buy as they were the ones who made a bad situation much easier to deal with. I have installed in a 2300 sf ranch-style single story house. The 9500EA (supposed to be one of the best) yet signal could not even make it to the kitchen which is not even 50 feet. I put 3 pods in and now I can get more reliable coverage. Construction of house is from the 70's and nothing special, not even 2x6 walls! The Velop allows signal much further. Surprisingly I now get signal about 160' away (through 1 wall/window) to the barn. I will say my DSL is not great (1.5mps) and I run 3 cameras 24/7 with full recording to HD and now I can get access 80% of the time from off site. 9500ea only gave about a 40% access from off site. On site is better so I think this is more the lack of DSL bandwidth (no options as I am in rural area). Did take time to set up and needed much patience as it took about 4 times for first additional pod and the 3rd pod, with over 2 hours separating times trying, finally ended up with pod within 10' of base pod to get it connected after about 5 tries. Cat watched 'periscope' when it was 'looking' for other pod but after the 3rd try... she gave up/lost interest. Takes patience as set up does take time. Downgraded stars for set up time and the close distance pods need to be to function with blue light all the time. If I could, I would wire these together but a 70's house is not wired like that ;) At least I can now use the internet in all seating locations in living room, not just in one chair.

Working from home and needed a more reliable WiFi network. Bought a high speed modem and used this LinkSys mess. This mess system is unbelievable. With one node active I was able to deliver 200+ mb speeds to the majority of my house but when I added the second node and I am easily covering approximately 3+ acres of ground including the 4600 sq/ft of my house. I am simply amazed at the range of this system.

This was the second one I purchased for another location. Purchased the white satellites before and setup took hours for all the updates to complete. This version had the updates so setup was a lot less. Overall product has good range and speed for my use. Placement of satellites can be tricky but the app will help assist you. Wish it would also let you know how each node signal strength is and speed.

This product is totally awesome. It eliminated all my blind spots and even increased speed compared to my prior router. It is very easy to install. Just a recommendation to Linksys: you guys should put more effort in your App. It works perfectly well for installation; but then it is not accurate. It shows devices that you did not allow in your net; or devices showed as "connected" that are battery turned off or not even in the house. The App is definitely unreliable except for the installation.

This does what it says it will do. I have stronger signals in every nook and cranny of my house, and I get consistently high Mbps numbers. At night late it's even over my published speed. Get one - but be warned the setup is a bit involved if you have a router/modem combo that you rent from comcast or one of the others. Doable and fine, just a few more steps. Great if you have cameras and roku and tablets and chromebooks and macs and pcs and gaming for sure.

I never write reviews but had to for this purchase. I finally cut the cord with Xfinities all in one modem/router and bought this router with an Arris SB6190 modem and got blown away with the constant signal strength and speed throughout my 2 story 2300 sqft house which includes a basement. This router seamlessly keeps you connected to the best signal in the house with no interruptions. A must buy for everyone who wants or needs high quality wireless internet.

I'll admit going into this I honestly thought these towers were just another piece of junk that I was going to bring back because it wouldn't work... Boy was I wrong... Took me a couple of minutes to set everything up and suddenly I started using speedtest on my phones and other devices... And I couldn't believe it. We couldn't even get any reception in our devices in the family room.. now it's running totally consistent 117... Parapapapa I'm lovin it

So far, after owning this product for roughly 4 weeks, it has really expanded my home network throughout my 2,400 sq/ft home. Whether I’m outside, or in a random part of the property, my signal is full and my connection uninterrupted. I’ve done multiple speed tests on multiple platforms with various operating systems and the results varied very little in between and ultimately gave me the consistency I needed to feel confident in my new network that these Velop’s are providing. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 star is because the Velop units don’t have any USB option for network storage, thus forcing me to continue to use my AirPort Extreme.

I pay for 100mb from spectrum. I run a speed test and get at least 110mb everytime on wired and wireless connection with my Velop. I have been using it for about a month now with no drops in connection.

Replaced my Apple AirPort Extreme last weekend. Setup was simple using the app on my iPhone. Once configured, I also connected each of the units to my wired network to maximize performance. Each unit also has other devices (Xboxes, Sonos bridge, etc.) connected to them it via small switches. My setup experience was great and coverage and performance are excellent. We use the network for everything - gaming, video streaming, music, work, and smart home functions.

I've placed this system into two offices (behind a Sonicwall and bridged) and two 4500+ sq foot homes. Add my house and we have 5 setups who have been very happy. No kids complaining anymore about not getting on to Roblox. Extremely easy to setup and troubleshoot if something is not working. My gigabit connection was testing at 400 Mbps down and 400 Mbps up via wireless (Verizon provided router tested at 60 up and 35 down). Worth the cost so far.

I've used the Velop system since April 2018. it is the best router system I have used to date. I have 100 mbps from Spectrum. Nothing is lost from upstairs to downstairs even 50 feet outside.

After trying a couple of different WiFi extenders, I broke down and bought the Velop WiFi system for my house. WiFi connectivity is much more reliable. Now we can stream Netflix and Amazon Prime without any buffering and our overall internet speed is way up. We’re getting 697mbps download speeds now through the WiFi on the other side of the house from the router. I do recommend putting the nodes as high as you on a shelf. It seems to help your range and speed.
