Main desktop system has trouble maintaining wireless connection. To be fair not sure if it is the desktop or the velop. Wouldn't recommend at this time, might in the future.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the modular aspect of they system so that you can focus the wifi where you want it. Also the fact that you don't suffer degraded signal from additional nodes. I'm able to get full wifi upstairs, downstairs, and outside from the garage. Each node is very powerful. Right away plugging in one node it was able to reach just as far with signal as my old router was. There's a nice simple app to download that walks you through the whole process on your phone. My only complaint is that for someone that has set up routers on the computer this was very tedious. But for someone not very savvy with electronics this was extremely helpful. Also the app automatically configured every node for you so you didn't have to insert information repeatedly. I like the fact that devices will get a dedicated signal. We've been streaming in multiple rooms and playing on the cell phone and it has reduced the signal for any of those devices. It was useful for a 1600 sqft home and it seems like it is very useful for a bigger one. We are using the 3 nodes it came with but when we move into a bigger place it is really easy to add a 4th if we need. I like the look of the nodes too, they aren't an eye sore around the house. Very sleek.
