Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, coverage, and setup, frequently citing its simple installation and strong signal. Many also praise the system's range and performance, reporting consistently reliable connectivity. However, some users experienced connection issues and noted the relatively high price. A limited number of Ethernet ports was also a recurring point of feedback.

I pay for 100 mb/s and i have literally 110 mb/s on my xbox, gaming laptop, phones, and more through wifi. My whole 3000 sqare foot property plus yards have over 100 mb/s through wifi. 0 percent speed drops. Never need hard wiring again. This router is witch craft.

I bought the Mesh system in hopes of using my existing router and just using these to expand through the house but I couldn't quite figure it out. Decided to just get rid of my old router, and just use this system. I will say it was a very easy setup, my home, just over 3000 sq ft is now full strength Wi-Fi as well as it reaches to our garage in our backyard (for our Ring flood light). Would recommend for anyone who is looking to get perfect full strength Wi-Fi throughout their entire home.

Easy to set up and superb coverage throughout the house. I have two homes and duplicating the configuration was a no-brained.

I love the app too. I can see all my devices, prioritize what devices I want to have the fastest speeds, and turn off the WiFi on my kids devices too.

I dropped AT&T and their modem/router for Spectrum 400 mbps and bought this system. I have a 2-story, 6 bedroom house, 2876 sqft. I couldn’t centralize the modem/router but was able to create a decent line going diagonally through the house. I tend to have approximately 25 devices connected to my network at one time, which includes 10 security cameras on 24/7. I struggled with my initial setup because one node would not join the network. Cameras were dropping constantly. I bought a second set to add to the network. Still couldn’t not get the one node (v1) to join. Started all over, had v2 as parent and attempted to join all nodes. That one still would not join. For nearly 3 weeks, I read info and attempted to reset to factory settings in my spare time. I created a new network with the problem node without issue. I downloaded the new firmware and then attempted to reset again so I could join it to my true network. It still would not join. I emailed tech support with details, they called me and asked questions And confirmed that I did everything that I should have done and determined the node was faulty. I’m expecting one more call and then will probably be getting a replacement from them within the week. Bumping to 5 nodes in the house has improved the drop rate, but it does still seem to happen, and at times when bandwidth isn’t being overwhelmed. I also have to regularly check the nodes to make sure that THEY are still connected to the network. For some reason, they seem to drop. I have my nodes strategically placed to provide proper coverage and am excusing the fact that 3300 can not handle a 2800 sqft house because of walls. Once the 6th node is connected and I’ve done all the steps to optimize the network then I will be less forgiving of any drops. Right now though, anything is better than what AT&T was providing for service and equipment.

This network is easy to set up and covers my entire home, basement through second floor. Never got a network signal in my basement, but with this system, my network signal is strong enough to power Amazon Firestick at the basement TV. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased this set because it was great deal, I was debating between this and NEtgear Orbi but went with this since it has ethernet input for backhaul (basically like bridge where you can connect non wifi items to the back of the nodes) 3 nodes are more than enough for my house. in terms of speed you will almost reach 100% in almost all 4 corners of the house or at least 3/4 of it the latest firmware 1.1.2.181801 at my time was very bad, I had to do a lot of things to downgrade, I heard latest firmware is better overall very promising product

Very easy setup, nearly plug and play. Very good performance with the two points within a large house. Vastly better than the combo router/wifi devices.

This covers my whole house (5000 square feet). I have one in my main floor living room, one in basement, and one in my garage. Speeds are as advertised. Node switching is my only complaint. Many times my phone will stay connected to a node that is father away. Linksys says it will connect to the fastest node, but if I disconnect wifi on my device and reconnect it will then switch to the closest node. Easy fix, but should not have to do that. Love the App, and setup is easy.

Well I picked this up on sale last week on sale for $279.99, since my older mesh unit was beginning to give us some issues.. hookup was pretty simple and i went through the setup pretty simple.. I have CenturyLink fiber gig service.. I first put the modem/router combo they issued into transparent mode and then proceeded with the setup.. The Velop recognized the connection on its own with no sign in needed.. I was off and running.. I have three nodes setup from one end of my home to another. my home if 2300 sq feet and this combo covers everything without issue, i also picked up a dual band node for 40 bucks on amazon to throw in my garage.. So I now have 4 total nodes.. 3 tri band and one dual band (WHW0102).. Now for some issues 1. wireless speeds are a fraction of my wired speeds.. Wired i get 650/940 on wireless i get 120/250.. so do not expect to get awesome speeds via wireless 2. There is no traffic meter on either the web ui or app.. so if your on a plan with limits.. DO NOT GET THIS.. Why Linksys did not include this, baffles me..truthfully im still on the fence to brings mines back due to this.. 3. they claim your device will automatically switch to the nearest node.. untrue.. I have tried to do this with my iphone and tablet.. It does not work.. Ill walk from one node to the other and stay there for ten minutes and my device will never switch nodes 4. When accessing the routers settings via the webui, I constantly get " this site is not safe " warnings and it displays in the address bar a not safe sign.. uncomfortable for sure 5. You can not restart any nodes remotely.. So if one looses connection you have to wait till you get home to go and physically reset stability seems ok for now, but its only been a week.. Ill update with any issues

This was recommended by a store associate to replace five wifi boxes that were previously in the house. It's amazing! With many TV's, iPhones, and iPads running every day, we've haven't had one "slow wifi" complaint in the house since switching to these boxes.

I went from wifi router and extenders to Velop Tri-Band Mesh WI-Fi System. It was the best move I could have made. I can go anywhere in the house, sunroom and garage and not miss a beat. I couldn't have done that with the old system and extenders. I did give this review a 4 because I did have an issue that puzzles me. for some reason one day all three of my wireless printer lost contact with the wi-fi. Everything else work fine, cell phone, tablet, laptop. I rebooted the mother unit and all was good again.

This system was extremely easy to set up and it became a “switch” to improve connections to some devices in line with 2 of my 3 towers. When I have had problems, Lynksis has an app that helps trouble shoot, identify the problem and solve quickly. They also have a 24 hour help line for great customer service! I’ve only had to use it once, but it was quick and my problem was solved easily! This is a solid system with a great amount of features to enhance your WiFi. Great mesh system here!

Fast easy setup and works as advertised. My family and I use multiple devices often streaming video at the same time and we don't notice a slowdown with this router.
