Linksys delivers again! Super easy to set up and connected. Faster speeds than the cable company's router and much better looking. The Linksys app is a great tool to monitor all of your connected devices. Overall, strong performance, great build quality, and best of all fast and easy to use.

Normally switching out a Router, Linksys in particular (since I've upgraded three times this year) is a no brainer. Plug the router in, let it update it's firmware, reset all my WiFi Networks to the same SSID and Password and off to the races. Not so with this one. I had problems with the initial setup, and it required me to reset the Router back to factory. It was nice that the error told me how to do it. So props for explaining how to fix the error, as I find that rare still today. Once I reset the box and went though the inital setup again, I was able to connect and reset the network to match my old SSID and passwords for 2.4 and 5Ghz. Why is this important? I have over 30 connected devices in my house, some with keyboards, but a lot without. So finding, accessing and resetting my very long password is, well not something I would do unless I could see a huge benefit. I wasn't seeing anything with this router over my old EA9500. I know it can do 160Mhz for more throughput, but it is future, I don't have any devices that can. Nice to have future proof features, but since I have nothing to take advantage of it, resetting the whole house to use this router isn't in the card. Now if you have fewer devices or don't have a MU-MIMO AC Router, there is nothing wrong with this. In fact I like some edits they did make to the firmware. On the network monitor it had a bandwidth tracker. A handy feature and nice. I did once I noticed I would have to reset wireless password switch it into Bridge mode and tested it with my desktop. It handled great. I got throughput and on 5Ghz Its signal strength was matching that of my EA9500 based db signal strength. So as I said, if you need to upgrade this isn't a bad choice. Get good range and speed, with some neat future proofing once they start releasing newer devices that can use 160 channel size. Now the saving grace may be that the Open Source Firmware it supports will allow me to flash this and not have to change my passwords, but I doubt it will replace my EA9500 anytime soon, but be an additional add-on to my network, either as wireless birdge/space router/test bed for the Open Source Firmware. I am just disappointed I could do a 15 minute quick swap like usual and get my over devices and PC's to pick up without an issue, but don't let my experience stop you if you are looking to upgrade. This is a solid router, I just have odd needs, and remember the Open Source nature of this device may give it longer legs.

      Hi, Djeee,

The Linksys WRT3200ACM should be able to provide a fast and reliable wireless signal. There could be multiple factors that is causing these challenges like physical obstructions, outdated firmware, and others. Please email us at [email protected] with your contact details and the link to this review as our reference. We'll have our Escalation Engineers look into this further and provide better insights on isolating the setback.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Router for most homes, sets the next level...

This router is a top of the line router that is easy to configure and would make almost any home owner very happy. The interface is very easy and the features are great across the board. The only thing I was a little shocked was that I was not very impressed with the speed of the wired connections. The wireless connections are the best in the industry. I also found that sometimes a setting would not stick on the dashboard so I would just check to make sure that your settings were saved before logging off or closing the dashboard. I did feel the dashboard and usability was very fast and some of the best for home routers. I have owned and tried many brands and models. I was a little surprised with a top of the line router only having 4 wired ports but I guess it aligns with its strengths since it handles wireless connectivity the best. I found the way it allows and configures parental controls makes it a good fit for homes with teenagers. Highly recommended, you won't regret it.

Heavy duty router allowed for multiple connections for all my devices. Easy setup. I haven't noticed any devices running slower or losing connection which is a plus. My only problem with it is the size. Takes up quite a bit of room and is very noticeable. For a smaller desk.

This is actually a review for the Linksys WRT 3200 ACM. It has been a while since I had a Linksys brand. So this was a new install for me – it roughly took a good hour since I had to call tech support to guide me through the process. Manual set up was smooth until I ran into the firmware update stuff. I then resorted to calling the 800 number provided. From there it was a slow but gradually progressing process. As for performance, I haven’t tested it to its max potential but for what I needed it sufficiently delivered. It may seem overkill for just a home network setup but with technology you are only a year away to being outdated. Features on the website is great. You can see the network map (how many devices/ what is connected to the router) as well as the ability to configure parental controls, and guest set up. I think the best set up for me was the 2.4 and 5 Ghz simultaneous connection. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase.

This is a router only and does not include a modem (you will have to keep your current modem to use this) The router was pretty easy to setup. You will have to connect with a cable to the router to finish the setup It has some nice features like multiple wifi bands as well as a guest band (for houseguest or a business) and remote access to your wifi network you can login from anywhere I did not notice a significant upgrade in speed or connection from my Verizon modem/router If you have an Ethernet cable modem only this would be a fine product to add wifi to your home. If you currently have a wifi router/modem already with reasonable speed this may not be a valuable add on. I have not had the opportunity to test this out using several devices at the same time and verify the speed or connection

Just to start off with in a matter of being open, I received this router for free through from LINKSYS in exchange for my honest feedback. To start, hookup was very simple, since Linksys kept the same newer Smart Router menu system that they used with their last generation of routers that were under the Cisco branding. So setting up was a matter of hooking up the cables and power supply, entering into my browser, and typing 192.168.1.1 and up pops a guided setup of your router. very simple, very easy for a novice or pro alike The only major bug in the 9 days so far that I have encountered is really not too bad of a bug if you rely on a 3rd party site for this test, but the built in Speedtest that is internal to the router always comes back and reports my 125MB connection as only getting 40MB. The internal test uses Ookla code , the same as the website www.speedtest.net . I am sure this will be patched in a future bios update. Speaking of bios update you can either manually update the firmware in the router or set it to auto update as they become available. Cool stuff. In addition to the factory firmware, LINKSYS made this router from the ground up as being FULLY compatible with DD-WRT aftermarket firmware. They fully support it either way. Its actually a badge of honor IMHO with the designers at Linksys to have made this router for beginners and experts alike. The router supports USB2/ USB3/and has a eSATA port on the back!!!! Can serve, with a large Thumb drive or external Hard Drive, as A DLNA media server , or FTP server etc..... To continue and complete this review, what drove me to look for a new router is what almost drove me away from Linksys and somewhere else. It was the fact that my older cisco Linksys product, the EA6900 always had the tendency of either locking up or randomly dropping my internet connections with Comcast every other day for at least 3-4 minutes. It made my teenage son a little irate at the fact that his last 3 hour online game was ruined by this fact. There obviously was space issues in the old design and poor cooling capabilities in that older router unless you were to mod it with a small fan. This newer model is a bit larger, has more antenna's, has better beamforming technologies , and has yet to freeze or drop connection or even hiccup in the 9 days I have used it. The old routers I used to get Wireless N or Wireless AC upstairs from the basement location of my router usually gave me a poor signal as the signal has to go thru metal framing they used in the basement construction. So I was always getting slow connection, and had to try using fixes like range extenders and the like. But with this router , I have eliminated all range extenders. Very happy with this router and you will be too!!!!!

First thing you'll notice is the easy and pretty quick web based setup. I like how the advanced settings were easily enabled and configured, a plus if your a beginner to networking. I also like that you can configure the display lights in the advanced settings menu. (Helps when you need non annoying night lights). I liked the usb 3 port I used that for my media drive and it seemed to run flawlessly. I played with the phone app and its pretty cool interface to monitor it on the go. The most significant thing that I loved was the wifi range that I achieved. I have a three level home and I was able to get rid of my access points upstairs and in Basement theater. I noticed very good video streams in basement where I usually had major lag and drops in connection. Did several speedtests and got constant 50- 75 mbps on most of my connected devices. This is a definite must for anyone who loves to stream video. It feels like a true piece of hardware not light and flimsy. And it does the job

The Linksys AC3200 was my first router purchase in years. My setup prior to this purchase was an Airport Extreme, paired with an Airport Express serving as an access point. The Linksys has outperformed the combination of the two units greatly. The range is incredible! I get 70 Mbps in my garage, where I was getting 6 Mpbs before. When in the same room, I'm getting 195 Mbps, vs 150Mbps. The setup was as easy as the Airport Utility. While the setup was easy, it is extremely feature packed, and it is open-sourced, meaning I can customize even further, if I wanted to venture down that path.

The Linksys - WRT AC3200 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Router is a great router in my opinion. I have only had it for a week and it works great so far. Make sure that you have plenty of room on a shelf or desk because of its size and and its antennas. I am still exploring all the options on it. Specs include: Dual-Band 3×3 with Tri-Stream 160 Technology MU-MIMO Enterprise-grade 1.8GHz dual-core ARM-based CPU 256 MB Flash 512 MB DDR3 RAM DFS certified to operate in the clearest Wi-Fi airspace SOHO-grade 5-port Ethernet switch 4 Gigabit LAN ports, 1 Gigabit WAN port 1 x eSATA/USB 2.0 port 1 x USB 3.0 port UPnP Server Four detachable external antennas. I have tested its work load reliability by connecting 12 wireless devices and none of them had any type of lag or connection issues within the house even through several walls. In my opinion, this is a great router but kind of pricey.

This newest generation router from Linksys is a SOLID unit. Supports multiple bandwidths and has the room for all of your demanding WiFi and WIRED connection needs. Supports 2.4ghz and 5.ghz. In non-bridge mode, this until is the center of your network, giving you the ability not only to access the internet to the whole house, but to also allow hard-drives to be shared. Hard connect your near by devices, and leave the wireless to those mobile units. The native Linksys software is continuously being updated. I am a power user, and the inclusion of the BRIDGE mode, allows me to turn off all the extended features, and use this as a high end access point to expand my network. But to the uber-power user, the option to install two of the most power full open-source router software: OpenWRT and DD-WRT opens this piece of high quality hardware, to the serous power users.

I have always loved Linksys routers. It just recently occurred to me that I had not upgraded my old N router in several years. After researching the various Linksys models on the market, I decided on this one (AC3200). Linksys routers are typically pretty easy to set up and configure, but I was amazed how truly quick and easy this router was to set up. No issues or hiccups. I was up and running in about 10 minutes (after a quick firmware update). I'm very happy with the signal strength, range, and speed with this router. The mobile app is also very handy. Great job, Linksys!!!

The Linksys WRT3200ACM is designed for very large household so it should be able to provide you a strong Wi-Fi signal across your home. This is a great product. This is my second Linksys router. The setup is simple, the range is excellent, the mobile app is extremely user friendly. I'm computer literate enough to get by, but I would not consider myself as anything more than a beginner. If your looking for a wireless router with great speed for a bunch of your wireless devices this is the one. I have two smart tvs, two apple tvs, an xbox, three laptops, two ipads, and a bunch of cell phones all connected, not being used at the same time, I hope. Speed still blazing.

I replaced my old wifi router because I was having problems with my connnections and because I have trust Linksys products for a while ,I've got this new Linksys WRT 3200 , is one of the best in the market, very easy to set up , just plug in and follow instructions and you have the best and faster connection wifi for all your home. The 4 antennas make the router more reachable to all all your devices and the smart wifi app makes it easy to monitor your wifi network anywhere you go. The dual- band (2.4 & 5 GHz) are awesome!. Also have a 256 MB flash and 512MB of RAM memory. With the MU-MIMO technology your able to connect all your device to your network at the same speed. I definitely recommend this product. If you think the router is to big for your desk just hang it on the wall to make more space on your desk.
