Powerful router
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While not part of the functionality, the box it arrived in was pretty awesome. As for the item itself, there is some assembly required, but it was extremely easy. Setup after install was also rather easy. Aside from the ability to run multiple devices at once, streaming while downloading, I also noticed an increase in the range of the router. Certain parts of my house that would have minimal and spotty coverage before now are fully covered. This router was definitely worth replacing my old one.

Could be better buy could also be way worse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is great and fast but the 5ghz's range and consistency isn't the greatest although for most routers they also have this problem. I live in an apartment building so getting wifi is the parking lot makes the range seem good so far. Ive only had a for a month though and will follow up in 6 months and give my updated review then.

I'm Impressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after my Linksys EA 8500 decided it needed to be rebooted everyday to achieve the speed I pay for. Out of the box I installed the DD-WRT firare to replace Linksys sometimes buggy software. The signal is good and Im getting 10-15% higher speeds with online speed test. I hope this is the answer to my problems.

Blazing Fast Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a service 1Gbps per second download, and need a very fast router than can handle several devices streaming HD videos at the same time, and can handle 8 more devices using internet at the same time. I've been using for about 2 weeks, haven't reset the router not even once. Glad I purchase this router!!

Great range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a problem with my old router because I have to have the router in the corner of one end of my house and it needs to reach to the opposite end of my 2100 sq ft house. This router does awesome and I get full wifi bars in every room and even my back yard. Also, the setup was insanely easy.

Easier than Advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup went easier than advertised and the Linksys tie in to the web provides the support needed to do even more when I am on the road. Pass through to our printers, access to my local network and more. Range has eliminated the need for two range extenders used with my previous N-Class router.

High Speed Gigabit WiFi router
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up Gigabit router. Four rear gigabit ports , USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports , plus an e-SATA port for external NAS. Modern AC band for newer, faster streaming connections. It was easy to set my SID and passwords so my devices automatically found their connections. Front mounted LED display quickly indicates working connects. The case styling is techy-modern, so it looks okay out on the open in the family room. Works as expected.

Easy setup. Love Linksys products!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid performer, easy setup, I really like Linksys Smart WiFi App. Really easy to manage devices from my IPhone. I like having the option to use DD-WRT firmware, great move allowing user to use open source, which allows power users to configure device to meet network needs.

So simple to use even a novice can set it up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first received this router I had some doubt it could be setup using the built-in wizard screens because in the past I have never been able to get one to work out of the box before. I could not have been more wrong as they have thought of pretty much everything a normal home user may need to setup and have made it simple to do. For those of you who are like me it also allows for either a fully manual setup or a combination of using the wizard first and then adding your personal customizations later using the web. Additionally they provide you with the ability to remotely administer your router over the internet and do so safely. All this plus the power and features of this router and it does not even cost you 2 arms and a leg as other manufactures would try to sell you on. Not that it influenced my review but I was provided this device by Linksys for me to test out and provide my feedback.

Extra features, expensive upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Based on the experience of a network engineer with over 20 years experience in networking, I picked up this router. Extremely well made Worked flawlessly out of the box. Smooth experience. I did not change the firmware, and it came with the latest Linksys firmware. As I am using it just on one floor, I wanted to buy the Linksys antennae that extend the horizontal range (at the cost of vertical range). The antenna are absurdly priced (about 100$). I spoke to someone who works in the design department of a mobile phone company (in the wifi section), and he flatly told me that the higher bandwidth that comes with this router (to make it future proof) is highly unlikely to ever get implemented. Instead companies are working on the new 802.11x spec, so this extra capability will likely not get used at all. Yet, I recommend the router without reservation.

Excellent and exceeding expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.upgrading from TP-Link Archer C7. gone thru more reviews before purchasing the router. C7 was having lot of lagging in processing the packets and my speed test was not consistent. After I upgraded to Linksys AC3200 ACM, there is not glitch in the network. Every corner of the house has full and strong coverage. The build quality is excellent and has nice selection of Antenna's placement. I like the most is SmartWifi where I can control my settings from anywhere, even from my office. The initial setup was breeze. Anyone with basic computer skills can easily complete without any hassle. I was able to setup the router in less than 10-15 mins. But I had to reset the router for the first time. I have 5 wifi devices and two wired. All working great without any lagging anymore. Opensource ready is added advantage. I have not tried any opensource yet.

Easy to use/setup and fast wireless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Linksys in my opinion has always been fast, simple, and straightforward for setup. The only two complaints I have about the setup process currently is that it was forcing me to do the setup through Wi-Fi and requiring that I have the modem connected. If there was a way to bypass this setup then Linksys did not make this obvious or ask if I wanted to bypass the auto setup. The other complaint would be that the initial naming of the SSID only allows me to setup the 2.4 Ghz connection. I was unable to rename the 5Ghz connection until the auto setup process was complete and manually change it afterwards. Aside from these minor setup complaints I was pleasantly surprised to find my download speed over wireless was as fast as if I were running a LAN cable. I love the fact that it is based on open source technology giving me more customizability if I want.

WRT3200 acm router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was using the WRT1900 until a few days ago and then bought the WRT3200 and it seems to have made the internet speed up somewhat. Very nice router with great coverage throughout the house. Highly recommended and really cool looking too. Just buy it.

Great Router!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, let me say that I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. 1. I have always used Linksys equipment for my wireless and networking needs until I moved into a house in TX and then I replaced my router with a different due to signal strength problems. 2. I moved to NY and the house I am in now has two floors and the network/data closet is on the first floor. The door is shut and since I installed this router, I have had zero signal problems and I am able to use multiple devices with no impact on signal strength or bandwidth. 3. We have 3 iPhones, and iPad, two laptops and two Smart TVs and I never have issues since I installed this router. 4. The setup was quick and painless. I would definitely recommend this product but I would like to see a TrendMicro malicious site capability installed that would notify me if there was any malicious activity.

Very solid router, many features, great coverage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched routers for about 2 weeks. I was just about to pull the trigger on an unnamed brand, but there were so many complaints on signals flaking out, intermittent operation, and overall dissatisfaction. Then I ran across this router. I mean, look at the reviews for the Linksys WRT3200ACM. It is rare to find these kind of reviews for this type of equipment. So I bought it. It sits on the entertainment center, doing its thing, and doing it well. Signal coverage in my 2 story with a basement is not a problem. It was a breeze to setup, and I love the fact that I can flash it with DD WRT firmware down the road. Being it's a newer router, they're (DD WRT)still ironing the kinks out of the firmware. So I'll wait. If you're reading this review, you're probably considering purchasing a new router. This one's a winner! Bravo, Linksys!

Very powerful router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is awesome. I upgraded from the WRT1900ACS and I wasn't sure I would notice a big difference but I can. Signal strength in my house is better and my mobile devices are getting faster wifi speeds. Well worth the price.
