I purchased this item for a christmas present, and when the product was opened, used and charged, the charger did not work. Because it was 5 days passed the 30 day return policy, I am screwed. MFG problem becomes my problem. Thanks for no help Wahl is ignoring every emsil I send. Not good customer service

Did not meet my expectations or requirement for the brand or price. Does not cut evenly and lacks performance. Not convenient to travel with. Too heavy. Cannot use while charging. Did no meet my travel purposes and a waste of my money. I would return it if i was allowed to do so. Have used it only 3 times in a month and a half.

Its doesn’t work for 5 hours with fully charged as advertised. Plastic clips are horrible. Cheaply made. They are so sharp they hurt your skin. It doesn’t trim long beard evenly i had to go over it 20 times to get an ok result.

It looks nice but broke very easily. Was not worth it in my opinion.

It's not bad for the price. I like that it has a lithium-ion battery.

Beard trimmers did not trim as close as my andis trimmers

It's an ok product for trimming but not recomended for hair cuting.

I bought my first Wahl 9818 in Feb 2017. By June 2017, that one stopped charging and stopped turning on, and I had to return it to Wahl for repairs. So that I was not without a razor, I purchased a second Wahl 9818, initially pleased with the customer service and expecting that the durability issue with the first unit was a fluke - it wasn't. As I write this in May 2018, just over/at a year from purchasing both trimmers, neither charge or power on, and I will be returning them both to Wahl for whatever they will give me for them.

Only comes with one trimmer blade and it was pretty dull out of the box. I have had cheaper trimmers from wahl that were sharper and came with two trimmer heads.

The trimmer is well made and works good, except, and this is a big problem for me... Does not trim close enough on the beard. So if you have a close beard, do not buy this.

This my second Wahl trimmer, my first unit was the inexpensive model. It would never hold a charge from the get go, ran out of power in less than five minutes, put up with it. Then I received an Ad for a high end model, bought it on Sale, sweet! Received the trimmer via shipping, tried it out, didn't work. Charged it by the directions and it still would not turn on. Returned it promply. Wahl you have lost my business and recommendation. Poor products, poor quality control, No Thanks.

Wahl Lithium Ion plus trimmer has failed after 11 months (bought 30 December 2017). After a full charge it won't switch on. I've tried everything, but can't get it to work. I specifically bought the trimmer as it it dual voltage - I work for months at a time in the US and UK. I bought this in the US. I'm now in the UK until March 2019. I'm not sure how I'm therefore supposed to get it fixed or replaced....

Did not like how it cut pulls your hair. There are better products out there. This is mostly for trimming

Nothing great. It's okay but the product was not a great one

Pros: The stainless steel design looks very nice. Price is reasonable. Cons: Some of the thiner guards become misshapen and do not stay on the trimmer, even after bending them back. The power button tends to have issues. At first I could not get the unit to turn off, now, I can't get it to turn on.

I returned it the very next day ... I love trimming every other day but since the first time I used it I did noticed it pulls the hairs hard so it just hurts! Also when I tried to turn it off it wouldn’t !! I had to leave it alone until the battery died

I feel my cheap trimmer from Walmart works better then this one, This trimmer always seems to pull my beard when trimming like the blades aren’t sharp enough. I don’t have that issue with my cheap trimmer

at first it worked great, a year and a half later it stopped charging.when i plug the charger, the blue light blinks and stops. doesn't charge any more. I expected more from WAHL brand, i guess i was wrong.

I have used this trimmer about 4 times. 2 out of those 4 times the trimmer would not turn off! Had to let the battery die. So, essentially, it only works correctly 1/2 of the time. I will be returning it.
