Love the remixed,remastered reissue of the "Live At The Hollywood Bowl" lp on its first ever CD release. This time around,you can hear the instruments and vocals much easier than on the previous vinyl release.Oh, that white noise of endless audience sreaming is still there.But now it takes a backseat to the performance of the best band of the 1969s...and they pass the audition ! Get it.

Quite a good job of cleaning up the sound. Now you can actually hear the guitars. Which raises the question: Were The Beatles superhuman? (Spoiler alert: my opinion is YES.) They had no monitor speakers, they were playing against what you can clearly hear is a wall of sound like being in a jet engine---YET THEY PLAYED TO NEAR PERFECTION. Oh, a lapse here or there, but just incredible!

I had the original album growing up in the late 70s but this master reproduction is so much better on CD, the screaming crowd is so fun to hear and the band was so into it. I went and found a bootleg on CD of the Hollywood Bowl performances which was fine for what is was but this is just so so much better, am so glad Ron Howard put this out.

Having owned the original on vinyl, I was pretty impressed with what George Martin and his crew were able to do with what they had back in the 70s. Well color me more impressed with what his son Giles and co. has done with this release! It's pretty amazing - the sound quality, fullness, clarity... if you're a Beatles fan, this one's a no brainer .

"Live at The Hollywood Bowl" is a wonderful time capsule nugget from the Beatles from 50+ years ago. Presented with remarkable production that preserves and enriches the already incredible musicianship and harmonies that saturated and blended souls in the '60's. All of those great songs, and the feelings that had been attached, come flooding back.

A remixed, remastered, and expanded version of the original 1977 album, made from better audio recordings recently discovered in the Capitol Studios archives. The original concert tracks are supplemented by four previously unheard songs. This release is much improved over the original, now 40-year old album. Great listening!

Being a huge Beatles fan and being completist, I was ecstatic that The Beatles Live At The Hollywood Bowl was finally released on cd. Not only is the sound improved from the original album but there are 4 additional songs that were not on the original release. The Fab Four shows why they were. A fantastic audio example of live Beatlemania.

We finally get "Live at the Hollywood Bowl" on CD...and the wait was worth it. Especially since modern technology could improve the sound (and tone the screaming to an acceptable level). The music is kicking, practically bursting out your speakers with energy and excitement. It's great to have an aural document of "Beatlemania" at it's peak !

A must for any Beatles fan! This is an excellent digital remaster of an historic Beatles concert from over 50 yrs ago. It amazing how good the Beatles sounded live in concert considering that they couldn't hear themselves due to the unending screaming by fans for the 25 minute live performances. The bonus tracks are a great addition

This is a CD of The Beatles - LIVE! Need I say more? There are not too many official recordings of them live. I imagine this will NOT become your favorite Beatles release, but your collection wouldn't be complete without it. The energy exuding from the band is fabulous. Real music from the first guys to play stadium shows.

Other than missing a couple of songs The Beatles actually did play at, at least, one of their three Hollywood Bowl concerts (such as "If I Fell", which was probably too quiet to be heard above the screams), Giles martin has done a brilliant job cleaning these tracks up to both hear all of the music and the simultaneous screams.

I remember having this on LP long ago. It's finally on CD! They've cleaned it up a bit, as there are so many girls screaming it was hard to hear the music first time around. This is the only live album ever released, so it's a no brainer if you're a Beatles fan. Included a few extra cuts that weren't on the original release.

This is an amazing CD. Apparently the original performances were overwhelmed by all the continuous screaming. Using new technology, the Beatles performances are now much clearer and very easy to listen to and enjoy. Lots of fun. If you weren't around back then, here's the chance to hear what the fuss was all about.

When this first came out, 20 plus years ago, it was pretty much unlistenable. No clarity, basically just a bunch of noise and screams. Thanks to modern technology, it sounds amazing. Basically the best Beatles live album ever! Pretty much the only one. Check it out for your self, you won't believe it!

This CD is a 2016 remix of the original tapes of the Beatles' Hollywood Bowl 1964 and 1965 concerts. I have the record album that I purchased in 1977 and the sound on the CD seems to be clearer. The tracks on the CD are the same as on the record album but the CD includes 4 additional bonus tracks.

I heard the original release of this concert many years ago. You could barely hear the band or the vocals. This new remaster has managed to push the screaming crowd to the back of the mix for the most part. You can now enjoy the live performance of the Beatles. The diehards fans will not be disappointed as several tracks missing from the original release have been included here. Casual fans may not be able to handle the screaming crowd. On the plus side, a Beatles concert with 2 to 3 minute songs doesn't last very long.

I originally owned this album on vinyl back in the day and I must admit I played it a lot, probably more than it deserved. However, this is the only official live Beatles album that they ever released. If that isn't reason enough for you to buy it then you're not much of a Beatles fan.

This concert recording is a must for every Beatles lover as it demonstrates how charismatically brilliant their music was in their early years and how charming and romantic they were as singers, song writers, and performers! As a remastered CD, the recording is clear and contemporary.

Great CD that has been digitally remastered and cleaned up to sound like you were just at this historic concert. Just saw Paul McCartney live this summer in St. Louis and the sound at that concert was no better than the quality you will find on this CD. A must for all Beatles Fans !!

Wow! I’m glad that I never heard the original LP of these concerts, so I was able to hear this without any preconceived notions. I think this is what future generations will turn to when they want to get an idea of what "Beatlemania" was about. And the balls-to-the wall performances prove (if that’s still necessary) that the Beatles were a ROCK band, first and foremost. (Though how did they put up with that crowd noise every night? It’s as taxing as sitting behind a jet engine… and just as headache inducing.)
