The sound on this is amazing considering recording devices available over 50 years ago and all the constant screaming going on at the time. it shows what great performers The Beatles were. Great for Beatles fans everywhere and whets the appetite for the Blu-ray coming in November.

Been waiting for this for years. You can actually hear them over the screaming fans. Something you couldn't do at the actual concert. Just wish that whoever mastered this would have turned down the screaming a little more - especially between tracks. Otherwise a great album.

I'm old enough to remember both the Beatles and when this album came out originally in 1977. Then it was anything but essential, a shriek-covered aural mess not worth the bother. But technology has peeled away the audience to reveal the great band playing underneath. You can really near the bass and drums for the first time. The Beatles are a tight band, storming through their sets in top form. Now, cleaned up, it does become essential, the only true document of the touring band that stopped in 1966.

If you like the Beatles even a little bit, this is the film to see. A wonderfully nostalgic documentary. If you are a younger person just discovering the Beatles, it is a great introduction to Beatlemania and it's importance. A joy to watch, sweet, funny, sad and thrilling.

This is a great live show from the Beatles. Listening to these classic songs live, with the crowd screaming in the background, sent chills down my spine. You can tell that the boys in the band were truly overwhelmed by the exuberant audience response when playing these songs.

We are so glad that Giles Martin decided to remaster this CD. We always loved The Beatles, and we loved everything that they ever did, so this is a welcome addition. We also love buying all kinds of cool stuff at either the the store or online.Rock on, Best Buy!!! Rock on!!!

It's nice that The Beatles finally put this album out on cd. The sound is fantastic. It would have been nice to have 2 of the 3 concerts on one cd as there where be enough space. My only real complaint is that I wish they would have used the original 1977 cover,

I have heard various songs off this album on the radio over the years but I never owned the LP or heard the entire album. I expected a lot of screaming with some music in the background but I am impressed with the job they did on this reissue. It sounds great.

This is a wonderful reissue of the 1977 lp. Geoff Martin did a great job remixing and restoring the sound. Timewise they certainly could have had 2 of the 3 concerts in their entirety on the cd. I wish they would have used the original cover but oh well.

I loved this album. I have always loved the Beatles, but never had the opportunity to see them perform live during their heyday. An album such as this not only brings back memories, but it allows me to see how their live performances were. Kudos!

Finally, the historic concert is available on a CD. I bought the LP of this concert back "in the day" (decades ago) when it was first released. I've been waiting for this CD version for decades! Wonderful addition to my Beatles collection of CDs!

The beauty of this album is that it transports you back to a great moment in the history of modern music. The Beatles musicianship is on full display here when you realize that they could not hear themselves sing or play over the din of the screams. Yet their timing was so spot on that the songs all sound simply amazing. If you are a Beatles fan, you will thoroughly enjoy this album. If there is a downside, it's that there are only 17 short tracks.

It's the Beatles. An old recording remastered to sound awesome even though it is so old of a recording. If you are a Beatles fan, you will not be disappointed. And I will be purchasing Eight Days a Week when released in November.

I have the original Beatles Live at the Hollywood Bowl LP and also have a CD version of it from somewhere in Europe. This release highlights the song more while not loosing the crowd energy. Great part of the Beatles history!

There are still multiple songs The Beatles did during their 2 Hollywood Bowl shows in 1964 and 1 in 1965, and Giles Martin's explanations for why he left them off don't make any sense to me. Nonetheless, a sterling job and very exciting; I would want all live album to sound like this, with 10K fans screaming their lungs out constantly, but the excellence of the performances on brilliant songs still show through.

Same basic recording that was released in 1977 but w a new remixed version- takes a few listens cuz it sounds like a tin can reverb but once you realize it's better than 1977 you will love it! 3 extra songs included!
