The Jitterbug Flip2 might be a great phone for Seniors if the Lively service provider was not experiencing ongoing problems with their Lively (Verizon) tower service. We bought this phone on 10/24/2023 and after many frustrating calls to the help center, getting Alexa and Lively Skills set up, the phone will not make a call without having to be shut down and restarted after EVERY call. After making many more phone calls to the Help Center (using a different phone of course) we were finally informed by a Lively rep that for 6 weeks they have been working on a problem with Verizon's tower upgrades because the upgrades do not work with the Jitterbug Flip2. They are trying to get the issue resolved but as of this date 11/1/2023 the phone we purchased at Best Buy is still not working. We have now decided to trade it in for the Smartphone which (we are told) DOES work with Verizon's Tower. In our family's opinion, the Jitterbug Flip2 should not be sold to unsuspecting customers until the phone will actually work. We will return the Jitterbug Flip2 and are expecting a full refund without having to pay a restock fee (the Best Buy policy for returns).

Jitterbug appears to be an excellent phone. The instruction manual provides clear, easy to understand, guidance. the phone is capable of much more than my mother will demand of it. The lively help line representative was patient and gracious. Best Buy associates were also very informative.

This phone is ideal for me. I only use it in emergencies and when I am away from home. It is the ideal size, as I can slip it in my purse or in the pocket of my slacks. It is very easy to use and is wonderful for us senior citizens. I have used a flip phone for many years with another carrier, but felt this would be a better one for me

Setup was easy. The instructions are in large print. With practice, I think it will be easy to use.

My grandmother has beginning stage dementia and her iPhone just wasn’t easy to use anymore. There were too many options and it was near impossible to get ahold of her. We thought the jitterbug and she absolutely loves it and we love that she loves it! 10/10 from us.
