So far the Jitterbug Flip2 is working great for my 89 year old Mother. Connection is clear, easy to handle.

My relative just wanted a simple phone to use, but wanted a flip phone so it didn't fall out of his pocket. He is color blind and has vision issues. He set this up on his own, very CLEAR instructions and easy to use guide added the larger text and can read it without his glasses. He also set the background color so he could see the writing. He had 5 colors to choose from, would have preferred a black, but that was not a choice. He will not be using the texting or medical part, just wanted the ability to call. The downside is you pay for the phone, ($100) then you pay for the activation fee ($35) and also for a voicemail feature ($3) and if you text ((.10) per text. Somehow they could advertise the activation fee. I ordered on line and it came the next day, BIG PLUS. No physical person to talk to only robo's that was the downside 5 star for meeting our requirements.

The VERY poor placement of volume buttons is a constant struggle. While many of the features of this phone are okay - the person can't receive calls if they don't hear it ring. The two buttons on the side of the phone activate with the slightest touch - the volume is VERY easily changed to silent in only four taps. The placement of the buttons means any time you handle the phone your fingers are on the buttons. VERY poor design - we struggle every day to reach mom- and once again it's been turned down to zero. There are no real choices for advanced seniors - This feature MUST redesigned and thoroughly real-world user tested before release.

We recently purchased this for our 96 year old mom, who was struggling with her i-phone. This has actual buttons, and one primarily uses the "back" and "OK" buttons, along with the up and down arrows. This has simplified her life.

It works like it should. No problems at all. Great phone for seniors.

We bought this phone for my husband who uses a phone only for phoning, not even texting. So it's perfect. He had tried two other flip phones and they were unwieldy--tried to be smart phones as well. Not user friendly. This one is, though there are a couple of changes I would make to do things faster like deleting calls, etc. All in all, he is very satisfied, plus the customer support is fantastic.

I had a lot of trouble getting an existing phone number ported over to this phone. Per Lively's instructions I shutdown and restarted the phone several times over the period of few days after Lively notified me that the number had been successfully ported to no avail. I had to do a factory reset to finally get the phone to recognize the number. The phone has good clear volume, but I think the original Jitterbug Flip was easier to navigate. You have to push a lot of buttons to make a call from your contacts. One nice feature about the Lively service is that contacts can be added, deleted, and edited from the online account so you don't have to do that via the phone's number pad.

The Jitterbug phone has been an excellent choice for my elderly mother. It is easy to read and easy to operate. It accompanies the Lively phone plan which is economically priced at $19.99/mo. Although my mom doesn't use it, it even has a camera! She really likes her phone.

I bought this phone for my senior mother-in-law. It's easy enough for her to use and it's very reliable.

I loved the red color, the fact it's a flip phone, and it's size. Picks up signal as well as any other phone.

This new one is not as good as the previous one. The new one has a battery that does not hold its charge very long. It also seems to stay on all of the time. More complex to use than the earlier one.

Small, handy, simple, cannot judge the camera yet. Battery is fine.

This is a wonderful phone and LIVELY is a supper carrier. I bought my jitterbug 2 a couple of years ago and it is still like new and LIVELY up dates it continually to provide excellent service.

If you only want to phone, receive and send text messages this is the right cell for the right price. With a tight budget at hand I could only afford to spend 35 dollars max. on a payment plan so this was the solution for me. It even comes with a camera so you can still take pictures of your loved ones.

Wish I could turn the volume up higher. Battery life doesn’t last long

Overall this product is pretty user friendly but the instruction booklet should contain info on how to delete RECENT CALLS. I had to call Customer Care and they were kind of stumped on something that should be so straightforward. They told me the calls will drop off automatically and I trust that will happen. Also, I would suggest a different design for the VOLUME buttons on the side of the phone. When holding the phone, your hand automatically goes to the VOLUME buttons and inadvertently you can lower the volume. The elderly person for whom I purchased this phone is not hearing the phone ring because she is not aware that she is pressing the "decrease Volume" button.

Great Call or Lively phone is a great size. My 80 yr old mother can see everything and do eveeything because the buttons are big and the menu is very simple. The only problem i have is she touches the buttons on the side which control the volume so sometimes the volume is down. The company should put a lock button so the volume is locked wheee you put it. Love the color and love that she can hit the Emergency button and get help when she needs it. Great sale price i paid and great packages and good prices they offer. Very nice representatives when you call to activate phone.
