Not a good replacement for Jitterbug

Only 2 stars because this phone is marketed for seniors, but it is too difficult for my senior mother to utilize. It replaced the Jitterbug flip phone that she could operate without difficulty. Most disappointing is that the phone does not answer by opening it. Too many steps are required to maneuver through the screens to get to contacts and dial a number. Wish I hadn't purchased it because she gets so frustrated trying to use it.

My husband purchased this phone for its ease of use. His previous phone was almost impossible to work. This phone is great except in trying to place the contacts. Wlil have to get a lesson.

I purchased this flip phone for my Mom, who is in a nursing home. It is easy for her to use and has what she needs- calling and texting. She is very happy with it. Her nursing home went on lockdown again the day after I gave this phone to her, but this time I can still talk to her. I am very happy I found this phone. It was easy for me to activate online and the customer service people are very friendly when I called

Great phone for my grandfather. Big buttons, loud ringer and great reception. Software on phone could be better but he likes it.

JITTERBUG PHONE SYSTEM WAS UNRELIABLE TO WORK

Phone was a "rinky-dink type system. Would work like instruction said some of the time and not other times. When my friends found out I was trying to use the system, they would discourage me because their elderly friend/family wasn't a bit pleased and would end up taking the phone back. I couldn't count on it to work ALL the time.

Decent product for seniors. The only thing that would make this product better is an option to answer when you flip open the phone when receiving a call.

    Problem with red button

I bought this phone for my sister who has early onset dementia. She could no longer use her Apple iPhone. It is very easy to operate. I only want a few people to be in her contacts which makes it very simple. However when I gave her the phone the first thing she did was press the red button which calls 911. My sister is in a memory care unit of an assisted living center. She doesn’t need the crisis alert so I didn’t get it. However if she calls 911 continually I will get fined.

    Customer Service is a Joke

Customer service is a joke. They do not return emails on their site. Calling them puts you into a never-ending loop - I called multiple times, was put on hold for 30 to 45 minutes & then HUNG UP ON. This phone never worked correctly. You can call out, but receiving calls is impossible. My father is in a nursing home & when I want to speak to him, I call, let the phone ring a few times so he can see my name, then he calls me back, I would not recommend this phone.

Basic phone with large buttons and large display font. Loud ringer. Decent call quality. All as promised. Haven’t tried the camera. Texting is old school.

This is an excellent minimalist phone. Easy set up, good instructions, easy to become accustomed to, easy to use. Primarily for seniors but a great choice for anyone trying finally to end their slavery and addiction to "smart phones." Battery is amazing. The price is unbelievable. Can't recommend more highly.

Gramma needed a simple phone, and this knocked it out of the park! The ringer is loud, the call quality is clear, and the menu is super easy for her to navigate even at 84 years old. I can help manage her contacts online, nd she feels comfortable knowing she can call for help with the click of one button. If you have an aging person in your life I would recommend this phone and service.

This was bought for an elderly family member. It has big buttons for seniors but the programming is horrible for people who don’t understand it. I think if the phone is marketed to seniors then the design should match. It’s ok.it still looks and feels like a cheap phone though. And we still can’t get voicemails set up.

the phone is to heavy and I wish it was a little smaller in size. The battery also does not seem to hold a charge very long compared to my old phone.
