Great little phone as long as you set it up FOR your elderly person. My mother could never have figured out setting up Alexa or programming this. Took me about an hour. Speakerphone is good, and buttons are simple, just need time for Mom (in a nursing home) to learn it.

Works well for elderly and easy-to-use. My father is happy with the phone.

very nice, easy to set up and easy to use flip phone. The only downside to a flip phone is the awkward keypad, but that's just part of having a flip phone.

I bought this phone for my 92 year old father, who is in a nursing home. He was never technically inclined, but he can make calls with this phone. The big buttons are key to ease of use, along with easy menu. Call connection & sound quality are perfect. He is in touch with the world now, well, favorite family & friends. There is an unlimited talk & text plan at a great price. Well done.

Perfect cell phone for my Mom who is 88 and has Alzheimer's/Dementia.

This seems to be the best low cost choice for a senior who doesn't see well. It has features that talk you through the screens. The user interface is a bit cumbersome for someone used to a touch screen but it doesn't take long to revert back to manual buttons instead of touches on the screen.

Most phones today are very complicated to seniors. We are still learning about this phone.

Every time my dad picks up the phone the volume control on the side of the phone silences the ringer and when I call him he can hear me but I can’t hear him. Like big numbers and loud speaker volume

This Jitterbug is not designed with seniors in mind. I would argue it is at least as difficult to navigate as a smart phone. Trying to maneuver through the menus is tedious for my mom. She is constantly hitting the side buttons that pit her phone in silent mode. She is in a nursing home and this is the only method for her to call. She had no problems with the previous iteration of the Jitterbug.
