Their website says they will refund service charges if lightly used. We returned under those conditions, but they keep recharging. My mom is hard of hearing and doesn't speak English, but they keep quizzing her on the phone and refusing to help. I will be calling back for the 3rd time after they rebill $62 for a month's service.

The phone seemed to have some handy features - however, due to the lack of the ability to disable text messaging, extra charges to access advertised calling features, and what I considered to be an excessive activation fee, I returned it.

The phone itself is ok. I got it for an elderly relative and it's about as simple as you can get in a flip phone. It's good to be able to lock the volumes in as high as they go. Unfortunately, there isn't a loud RING sound (like an old phone) and the "artistic" tones are hard for her to hear, even at high volume. But -- my main problem is that I had to spend WAY too much time on the phone with the carrier to set up the account, and then to keep following up on the transfer of her old number. Being understaffed is one thing, but dropped calls plus one of the representatives claiming that two calls I made earlier, talking to two different representatives, never happened, was too much! I grudgingly recommend the phone because there are so few alternatives for seniors. But beware and pack your patience!

Purchased this phone for my elderly father. It is NOT an easy to use device and you have to start a new line with the phone company Lively. Very disappointed.

This phone is attended for those not into technological advances & just wants to use it for a call than texting. It does provide texting option along with Alexa if you would want your alexa to send out calls or text. No internet surfing is available on this phone. For unlimited text & call using their service, it would be $23.98 in total with the tax rate in FL. The battery last about a week depending on use. The alert/emergency button on the bottom is additional cost a month if you want it.

I have tried 3-4 senior phones over the years without finding one I could manage until Lively! It fits my lifestyle and my need for occasional communication while away from home. If you are a cell phone addict, the phone will do nothing for you however. The best price was at Best Buy by far for this phone.

Missing features like speed dial. Clunky and difficult menus to do most things like making a call. Phone feels cheap. Only good thing is big buttons go r older folks to navigate. But that’s it.
