Bought the phone for my mother who has had a flip phone from day one. After reading all the reviews I knew what I needed to do to get her moved from AT&T to Great Call. Just let me say that it was much easier than I expected. Great Call customer service was so helpful and if you activate online first you'll save $10, She loves her phone and she tells everyone that she can text! Lol I'm so happy my mother loved her phone. Thank you now we just need a computer like the jitterbug for seniors!

Purchased this phone for my 85 year young Mom. She is very happy with it. Easy for her to use and setup was easy with the 800# that they emailed me.

Pros: The layout and app functions are user friendly. Affordable plans. Cons: The buttons require effort to work. The customer service is lacking. A couple of representatives were rude and one did not process the porting of the phone number at all. The information in the setup guide needs updating so plan information and refund policies are unclear. There doesn't seem to be many available languages for the keyboard except English and Spanish. Overall, it did not work for the senior citizen I helped.

Able to set up with telephone agent first day. Got old telephone number transferred after a day was connected works fine ever since. It has a camera. She can receive texts.

This phone does everything and it is so easy to use. The logical patterns of the screens is remarkable. The apps and internet are also inline with the way the phone operates.

It is so easy to use! My Mom was very happy with this phone as opposed to the flip phone! The customer service person was extremely cordial and helpful!

I'm sure I will love my new phone, once I figure out how to use it. It seem complicated to me, but here are two booklets and tutorials on the computer for me to use.

Bought this for my 82 year old Mother who has only used a flip phone. Set up and use is simple. Very poor battery life make it impractical for everyday use however. While setting it up I watched the charge drop! 92%, 91,90..... the charge dropped 6% in 3 minutes! Now in limited use mom reports phone completely dead after a 1 hour voice call and then sitting overnight. A 15 min video chat dropped the charge 30% after I asked her to check before and after

It is easy to use! When you start it up it has the time, date, and weather. It also gives you alerts for your weather. Like it would say Warning Flash Flood.

It really is easy. I have resisted having a cell phone for years, but this one has basic "phone features", that are easy to click and have not argued with me -- so far.

My Jitterbug Smart2 Phone is perfect for folks who aren't tech savvy. It is easy to use, and you can still add game apps to it. I recommend it to anyone who needs an easy to use "Smart Phone"!

My husband Is not a smart phone guy so we tried out the jitterbug 2 smart. Hates it..I thought there was a 30 day return policy because that’s what great call offers ( and great call is owned by Best Buy). Best Buy was willing to work w me on a return but I talked my husband into keeping it, he still hates it. Voice quality is poor. Phone has a glitch where it doesn’t ring. It’s on and it on silent. Th only fix is a shut off and reboot. And he hates keyboard. And doesn’t hold charge. I wish jitterbug would actually use a good phone for their service but consistency with quality, and the issues above mean we wasted $$$ buying this phone. In actuality, I thought that the great call service would decrease our bills but it ended up being about the same. I will be switching back to Verizon for him

The phone itself is fine, it operates in 2 different ways. #1 it has a very simple mode for seniors. #2 You can reset the operating system to operate as a standard android phone. The problem is my mother is getting older, and she no longer goes out and doesn't need the phone any more. So I tried to reset it to Android, but it shows an error code and Great Call refuses to help because we no longer want to pay for there service. So i asked the person at Great call, I guess it's just a paper weight? Answer - Yes!

We are very satisfied with the purchase and the helpful sales associates at Best Buy. Set up was easy and the guide was clear. The phone is a pleasure to use.

jitterbug smart phone is great. This replaced a broken phone and I would buy again

I have been using the Jitterbug Smart 2 phone for about a month and it is very easy to navigate from the home page. I would recommend this phone to anyone who needs to use a simple phone.

Good phone for people who are just starting out or our electronically impaired only complaint is that you have to buy a whole new phone if you need a new SIM card the plans need to be a little more flexible and cheaper too
