The box advertised a $17.99 amount. Which I assumed was the complete charge. Upon doing more research I found that in addition to the $17.99 I was told I must buy another monthly plan at $34.00 for a total of $51.99 per month plus tax. I wish the sales person been aware of this. Also the Jitterbug customer service was sloppy, and indifferent. The phone itself seemed ideal, thought I did not use it.

Ad on TV SAYS you can keep same phone number. Not so for us. Plan to return the phone and cancel subscription with Great Call. Yes, the apps are easier to get to and use once you have played with the phone to become familiar with its functions. Just like any other smart phone. Cost for unlimited data is more than current vendor cost. It may be because I didn’t get to ask questions and see the phone before purchase due to the CORVID-19. Could not go into atheism store at Best Buy.

It’s ok for my mom who just needs a phone. I should have got a flip phone for her but decided to go with the smart phone just in case she could learn to use it. But she hasn’t.

We got this for my father-in-law, who is in a nursing home. We wanted to ensure we could communicate with him if facilities were quarantined, which we all know, they are. The only issue is his difficulty with "swiping " to answer the phone. I feel if he had more hands on time with us before the quarantine, he might be doing it better. Bottom line, if you're getting this for an aging adult, get it before they may have a serious medical condition so they know how to use it.

Bought this for my husband who wanted an easier phone

My wife did not feel comfortable with her android phone so I got her this too make it simpler and so far so good.

My mom is 78 and has had a terrible time with cell phones. They are just too complicated and she tends to get lost in the apps on the phone. She has been frustrated and stopped carrying her cell phone which causes us to worry about her. Since getting her this phone and using the easy app design, it is much easier for her to use. I really appreciate the 5star app that you can use in case of emergency. It gives me piece of mind when she is home by herself or out and about. I would definitely recommend it.

No complaints. Easy to use. Have not had tech support issues at this time. Do not like the forced auto debit as a payment method.

Poor battery and difficult to use. My 85 yr old father became very frustrated trying to use. The print is very small considering it is for seniors. I had bought this to replace his flip that had started to fail. I ended up returning it and buying a new flip. Great Call is super friendly and Best Buy was great with the return. Just disappointed that the Smart 2 didn’t work out.

Bought this for my 90+ year old uncle. He likes the simplicity of the phone. So if he likes it then I love it

simple and clear, user friendly... some features disappointing like needing internet to change voice mail message, for example.

This phone is definitely senior friendly. My dad is using it very easily. It’s also great for emergencies.

I didn't like using a smart phone, it really stressed me out, and returned it and transferred back to my Jitterbug flip phone. I appreciated the help and being able to do that.
