So far we are very please with this phone. The ease of operation makes it easy for my wife to use and she can understand how to work it.

A problem from the start. I scheduled an appt. at Best Buy clearly stating my intention to purchase the Jitterbug Smart phone 2 for an elderly lady whose other phone needed to be replaced. When we arrived, the salesperson had not reviewed the appt. details for our visit and stated they did not have one at their store! WHAT! I specifically had stayed in the reason for the appt. was to purchase this phone. We ended up having to order it from another store and it was promised to be to me in 1 or 2 days. 3 days later it arrived and I began setting it up for my friend. Problem after problem after problem, 18 days later and many hours on the phone with Great Call, I ended up having to get another phone expedited to my friend which took another 3 days to receive. 22 days after purchasing the initial phone at Best Buy, I FINALLY got things to work on the new phone. 22 DAYS! Totally unacceptable! It left my senior friend without a way to contact friends or family. I had to call the Independent Living Facility daily to check on my friend and her husband.

Some years ago I had a cell phone and disconnected it after about 2 years as I really had no need for it. Recently I decided to get something inexpensive for use in an emergency and this looked like a good gamble for that purpose. So far I haven't used it for any purpose so I can't really say it was a good choice or not. A complaint I have and it has nothing to do with the phone and that is the phone number was used by someone else and I am being flooded with text messages. This could cause me to disconnect again.

I bought this for my husband who has never had a smart phone and is 73. He is learning the phone. Definitely a good phone for a senior.

This phone had very good instruction. Set up just for a senior like me. Quality of the phone is very good.

Worked well for senior individual. Set up process is not tailored for old school approach who wants paper bill and not tech savvy enough to deal with online accounts.

Either as a flip phone or straight handset this smart phone makes it easy for Seniors to use. Unfortunately its various access plans are too expensive.

The phone is made for senior citizens yet the highest volume can barely be heard by anyone. The volume from the person on the other end of the call as well as the ringtone. I wish they would fix this. It's a huge complaint with this phone

This phone can do everything an $800 phone does. Easy to see and read all aspects of this phone. Even my co-workers are impressed.
