Bought for my husband who never uses a cell phone, got it for him to use in the hospital. Home screen menu makes it so easy to navigate and do the basic tasks of calling, texting and emailing. Camera a plus, did not even expect that. I highly recommend this, maybe I like more than my expensive phone that does much more than I really am interested in. A super buy.

My old Jitterbug Flip phone finally died so I replaced it with the Smart Phone 2. They say this phone is easy to use, but it does have a learning curve for someone like me who is not familiar with a smartphone. The instruction manual and on-screen help will have you up to speed in no time. I have turned off some of the phone functions I don't intend to use; that saves battery power and gets rid of the clutter. I can always turn them back on later. And Great Call has the BEST customer service I have ever received from anyone. They are available to help you over the phone if you have questions. You will be glad you purchased this phone.

This is a great phone for seniors! It is so easy to navigate, very easy to understand, and has good sized buttons with fonts easy to read. I bought this for my husband who is very intimidated by smart phones, but he has learned to use this one. I'm so glad I bought this for him!

I purchased this phone as a replacement for my mother's earlier model after she somehow confused it beyond repair. I wanted to keep her existing number. Do NOT start the setup until you have called Great Call to transfer the number. I did that and it took 3 days to get it reset. Once it is set up it is fairly easy for seniors (mom is almost 89 and loves to text). The phone is large - the size of an iPhone XR - but much cheaper, so easier to read and type.

LOT OF BACKGROUND THINGS RUN AND SEEM TO DRAIN THE BATTERY DOWN PREMATURELY. CANNOT CHANGE THE BATTERY IN IT IF IT GOES BAD. FOR SOMEONE, LIKE WE ARE, HAS MORE FEATURES THAN WE WERE LOOKING FOR. WAS JUST LOOKING FOR A PHONE FOR SPEAKING ONLY. PRETTY TOUGH, HAVE DROPPED AND SCREEN IS FINE. ACCESSORIES LIKE A COVER ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND, FOR THIS PHONE, ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH GREAT CALL. COULD HAVE SAVED 30$ IF PURCHASED SOMEWHERE ELSE LOCALLY.

This is certainly better than the old cell I had, and much easier to use. I'm still learning how to use all the features. One thing that is a bit disappointing is the volume level. I needed more volume than this one has. I'm trying to figure out how to get my headphones to work on this unit (as it did on my last one) but so far I haven't found the key to getting the volume. I'll keep trying . Overall it's a good phone, well priced for us retirees.

I bought this phone based upon the ad that it was easy to use. It is a modestly priced phone that is easy to use re android smart phone systems. However, allow 3 to 5 business days for the carrier to transfer your existing cell phone # to the new phone. The instructions are easy to read and the customer service is very good. This phone is relatively easy to set up and use. Two problems I have with it. (1) The battery needs constant recharging. I use the phone only for traveling and emergencies. So even with no use at all I have to recharge it every 5 days. My previous phone would last a month without recharging when I didn't use it. Is technology going backward here? (2) Google is constantly adding APPS without my permission. I don't want them and don't know how to remove them. When I first turn the phone on, Google announces all the new apps they have installed and updated. This is very irritating!! Presumably Jitterbug gets a fee from Google for letting them pester their customers. Google - just leave me alone.

I have never owned a cell phone and now being disabled I needed a device in the event that I fall, I could get help. This phone has both and is super easy to use. I was able to set everything up using the online tutorial and I don't have to pay outrageous amounts of money each month to use it. I am very happy with this purchase

Easy to use, especially for one not so young, and does not load down the phone with hundreds of apps. Very good tech US based tech support. Battery life above average. Not very good at searching for contact numbers. Only problem noticed so far is that the on button is too easy to turn on in the pocket by itself.

We are more than happy with this phone. Such a good price and good monthly service price. After owning phones with the big companies with high prices, this is great! We have an easy to use Smartphone for a very reasonable price. Was very easy to get use to. Will change over our other phone when our contract is up!

I purchased this nifty little phone for my dad (92) and stepmom (87). They had recently gotten a "new" flip phone and were having a difficult time learning to use it because they were so used to their old flip phone. I think it is a pretty cool phone, my stepmom did learn to make and receive calls fairly quickly, I spent a little time trying to show her how to use the camera and do texting, not sure she will ever use it but the main thing is for them to have a simple phone to stay in touch. My dad did make a phone call on it, but stubbornly wanted to keep the flip phone even though he complained about it constantly and wanted to throw it in the trash. Go figure.

I bought two of these, one each for my wife and I. I was happy to see my wife took to the phone right away. It was easy learn and she took to it right away. Best thing is the large lettering on the screen which is easy to read and use. No mysterious icons!

I purchased for my mother who is a senior struggling with cognitive abilities. She has never used a smart phone but struggles with technology in general. With in a few days, which a repetitive practice, she was able to learn how to read and send texts, take pictures and send via SMS, and view pictures in the gallery. The location feature provides a great peace of mind as I can follow her where ever she is. In addition, the 5 star service also provide great comfort in that she can call them for just about anything and they will help guide her along with directions, send help, contact me, etc. The only slightly negative item to note on the phone is that is is not the faster to attach photos to a text message. But, at the price point, it performs very well. I highly recommend this phone for anyone who struggles with modern technology but also need the convenience of a smart phone.
