This was supposed to be extra easy for senior citizens to use. However, it is more complicated than my husband's regular android smart phone. Neither he nor I like it because it's hard to use. We're still trying to figure out how to do things.

However it didn't work for me. I was unable to connect with my internet service at my home with this phone. Being my only phone it was not good for me. I was unable to hear well on this phone. Not saying it is a bad phone, it just didn't work for me.

Phone was not easy to set up. Unable to transfer old contacts, or existing pictures. "helpline" was more sarcastic than helpful. no ability to set up group contacts, My mother has trouble answering it as it does not seem to recognize her swipe and she has to swipe multiple times.

Stuck in infinite loop of "setup failed" error

This is the lowest quality Alcatel phone on the planet. Bought his for my mom and this trash will not setup at all. First she cannot import data from her old Jitterbug Touch since there is no option to import data in Settings or Google app. Great Calls has stripped out all important Android features any other phone has. Now it won't set up at all. Did a hard rest to Recovery for a factory wipe and install. Still will not get past the "setup failed" error code 2. Looks like I got the lemon. And I thought trying to work with a low-end Moto phone was bad.

Cost is hidden in the advertisement. Rather surprising when all the added fees are added. A lot more expensive than Straight Talk.

They tried too hard to make this phone senior friendly. They took the worst smartphone you've ever used and gave it the most restricted unuseable interface.

We got this phone for my 92yo mother-in-law . It has too many options to choose from for a simple phone call, all she needed it for. Had to return it in exchange for a VERY basic, old style, flip phone.

actually loved this phone more than i thought i would. my eyesight is not as great as it used to be so there phone was very easy to read and use. the bold is big and not hard to read at all. the voice quality seemed to be good the person on the other end said they could hear me loud and clear. i never dropped a call either. the only thing i didn't like was the volume wasn't as loud as i wanted so at times it was a little hard to hear but other than that i really enjoyed using this phone.

I am disappointed in the internet service, I can not receive it where I live. I have an ATT Hotbox for internet service; It works on my ipad and my laptop but not on the phone. I have to go 18 miles away for the internet to work o the phone, someone needs to perk up and let seniors know how crappy this is before taking their money.

I can't really review this item since I could not get it activated. Two different carriers were willing to activate it, (I checked with both of them before buying it) but were unable to, and I didn't want to pay the high rates at Great Call. It looked like exactly the kind of phone I was looking for since I'm generally averse to smart phones, but now I'll never know.

    First time smart phone user

The Jitterbug Smart2 was surprisingly very easy to set up. It is a sleek and full functional smart phone. The screen is a very good size and not a lot of screens to scroll through. All the main features are on the first screen. The main user is my 78 year old mom. She has always used flip phones and this was a great phone to bring her into the smart phone era. I can safely say she loves it! She used to have problems using the keypad on her old phone but not with the Jitterbug. She loves how easy it is to use and how the fonts are big and bold enough for her to see without squinting. My mom now uses video calls to keep in touch with family members. She is even taking her own photos, Imagine that! lol. This might be one of her favorite features since she could not do that with her old flip phone. I think what she absolutely loves the most is the games she can now play on her phone. She loves word games and i have downloaded a few for her on the phone so that occupies a great deal of her time on the phone. So far we have not had any issues with the phone and my mom has adjusted to this phone pretty well. I definitely recommend this phone.
