What you are buying is access to the easy to reach customer support, geared towards senior citizens. We are able to keep in touch with, and monitor our parent, ensuring that the phone stays connected and charged. Be aware that you pay extra for the monitoring app, but for us, it’s worth it. For example, the great call app informed us that the phone was not charged, and if our parents get lost, we can help them with directions. The customer service is usually easy to reach, understand the constituency they work with, and are generally very patient. One bad experience was overcome with a call back to a extraordinarily awesome support person. We tried out the extra help feature once with customer support and they were quick to respond. Definitely recommend the package of phone plus service.

Touchpad needs improving. Voice volume needs to be louder. Great customer service. Fairly easy to use...great progress on that. Print is large enough to easily read numbers and letters. Cannot bring existing contacts on old phone to new... must be manual input. So far it is good and I am able to easily use it.

The Great Call Jitterbug Smart 2 phone seems to be exactly what I needed and wanted. It is simple to operate and everything is explained well. I just wish the company would let Best Buy complete the entire process rather than just sell the phone. I realize that this is Great Call's problem, but it would be an improvement for Best Buy to complete the entire process. I did not simply order the phone direct from Great Call because I like to see the item in advance. I do recommend Best Buy for electronic items.

This phone is the cats meow. Very simple; large print so no need to reach for the cheater glasses. Option to view app's with icons or scroll in a row. Great reception even in a rural area. I absolutely love it. Customer service was friendly and accommodating in helping me with a few minor questions. The price and plans available are very affordable.

Being seniors, we have difficulty reading small text, this Jitterbug Smart 2 is a God send! Easy to use, easy to understand, an excellent choice for people like myself!

This is basically the only smart phone tailored for non technical senior citizens. It’s a heavily customized Samsung Android OS. The good: simple clean interface, can increase storage by adding a 32GB microSD Card, affordable data plans. The bad: phone only comes with 16GB storage (8GB used by OS)

I have not used my new phone a lot yet . One thing I really like is the easy to use instruction booklet. I really like the talk part of texting instead of having to type my message. I think this phone will work very well for me.

My IQ went up 10 points when I started using this phone. I would recommend it for any older person. I learned things I hadn't known for the last few years I've been using a Smart Phone. Also 13 X camera is very good for a phone that didn't cost a thousand dollars.

I got the Smart phone 2 for seniors just love it so easy to use love taking pictures now. My husband had the flip he seen how easy it was took the flip back and he got the smart phone. Best decision we had to change over to Jitterbug. Thank you....

Purchased for a parent. The Smart2 provided easy android based smartphone use for a new user. Simplified OS made the transition easier. A variety of plans were available but would have preferred a few more low usage options as apposed to the more expensive plans.

I bought the Jitterbug Smart2 Smartphone for Seniors for my 78 year old brother who has mild dementia and a brain bleed resulting from a fall. His prior phone was too difficult for him to use in his current condition but he loves his new jitterbug phone and is using it without help after only a few days. The simple straight forward layout on this phone eliminates memorizing icons and the confusion of other phone layouts. I highly suggest using this phone for those who have memory and issues with confusion.

I've never had a smart phone before, but I am learning to use it. The only issue I have so far the battery, it only lasts for a day. I'll just have to charge it every night.

Purchase this jitterbug Smartphone for my 90 year old mother in law. Wanted a simple to use cellphone. This phone has a large screen and is easy to use. Really great for seniors

It's a bit slow to log-on, but is very easy to use.

I have been eyeballing this product(phone) for some time,six mo. or so,and suddenly i made up my mind that this was the phone for me,a senior 89 yrs. old.This phone is THE phone for seniors,it is so easy to find what you are looking for in a phone for seniors.I have had it for one week and I have found a lot of things that i was not expecting to find.I tried other smart phones,didn't work for me.I believe i made the right choice with this Jitterbug S phone.

Finally convinced an over 80-year old to switch to this smartphone when his flip phone died. So far, so good but he is still learning. Would recommend for seniors unwilling or unable to learn how to use a more complicated phone.

This phone was easy to set up and easy to use. Unfortunately, my senior parent (85) who has dementia and some other cognitive issues was unable to grasp how to use it. We will keep the phone and keep trying. I do recommend the phone anyway if your senior is still able to learn.

The layout is easier to navigate than traditional smart phones. The back and home buttons are clearly identified. The only addition that would be extremely useful is a large print user manual.

Purchased for parents who never had smart phone or used computer. They are learning slowly, have mostly master phone use. Interface is easy for them to grasp. Teaching in stages as they are easily overwhelmed if tmi. Good product for those never used technology.

Excellent phone for a novice/beginner. Very easy to do just about anything; all you have to do is press the button and the rest is self-explanatory. Highly recommend.
