This product is basically a good idea. An elderly person is supposed to use it to get help when they need it, and it does seem to notify emergency services. Very much like a 911 call. The problem is that EMS is the only one to get notified. We could not get the software and app to notify a relative or neighbor. Every attempt to set up and use the app led to a dead end where we could not complete the set up process. My elderly mother did not want EMS breaking down her door when she accidentally pressed the button. She wanted the system to also notify a helpful neighbor, a neighbor with a house key, who could defuse the situation.

This item arrived and had to be immediately returned. It would not activate after four attempts by the call center.

Device works great I think. The service provider does not know how to set up their own ap.

Been using this device and service for several years always been happy with it. Recently bought a new device just because wanted a new device after several years of use with prior one. The new device worked just fine but the charger was defective big let down. I tried the old charger with the new device and it corrected the problem. The new charger was not charging the device so im contacting Lively so they can exchange the charger. Hopefully they resolve this and I can update this review. I think they will make good on this since we are longtime customer and have referred alot of people to them. Update soon as they exchange chargers even tho the older charger is correcting the problem the charger that came with the new device purchased should be working correctly.

My mom wears device everyday and depends on the working quality. She has had continuous problems with this particular device. I am not sure how to check the stock date to check for freshness. Anything with a battery you don’t want the oldest on the shelf.

Actual cost on a monthly basis extremely high, much larger than advertised price. MUST return this UNUSED item as being too expensive. Price MUST be lower with a yearly payment.

It’s TRASH. Cheap garbage. Tried to set it up. It wouldn’t work. Called customer service as they tell you to do, and they said there’s a $25 ACTIVATION FEE. The plan to make sure someone actually comes to help is $40 a MONTH, and the thing that doesn’t even work was $50? Total waste of money. Look elsewhere. We got her an Apple Watch. Pricier but least that works.

Device never activated and support was horrible. Was transferred numerous times, hung up on, told that everything was working when it obviously wasn't. Returned the device

Would not charge had to return for a refund because they were out of stock.
