We really really love this lock! We originally had the Yale lock and needed to return it since we needed a lock with a handle. The Yale was out of stock and our order was cancelled so we got this one and boy are we beyond happy! He fingerprint ability is so amazing since let’s be real when you have kids and/ groceries in your hand you don’t have a lot of time to stand there putting in numbers. We are so happy with our purchase and all the abilities it has that we will be getting another for our front door. Took my husband about 10 min to install however he’s installed several door locks so he’s a pro at it now. It’s nice and heavy duty but sleek and elegant. This one is currently on the door in between our mud room and the garage and it’s perfect! Worth every penny if you aren’t sure it’s worth it pull the trigger and buy it!

I've owned a range of these locks and when they first came out they were probably the best at the time. The pin genie and fingerprint features were a key selling point. Unfortunately, Lockly has awful customer support even within its short warranty period. I submitted an issue and the first thing the representative did was try to sell me a sun shield for $20. These locks are not meant to be used facing outdoors and Lockly doesn't really want to honor their warranty. As someone who was rooting for Lockly from the beginning, I unfortunately have to say this is not a wise investment. There are other issues with door sensor pairing, the short range of the dongle and multiple app issues. Many of these issues have been there since the beginning have not been fixed.

If you are on the market for a high quality smart home door handle, I would highly advise looking into the Lockly Secure Pro! PROS: - The device looks so elegant and smooth, very modern touch to the home but nothing too over the top. - Installation was a breeze! I really had no issues setting it up. - The Lockly app is really easy to use and helped the process along. Plus of course I integrated it with my Google Home so you can ask it to unlock/lock the door or even “Did I lock the door?” - I really like how you can do a key, or code, or fingerprints scanner. It makes it if you want to be old school use a key or something anyone can use, use a code, or something very confidential use the fingerprint. CONS: - I wish it was slightly shorter or smaller so it could fit on doors that have the handle and deadbolt close to each other. - Plus, I don’t know why the sell a deadbolt version and a latch version, why not combine it into one? - Honestly I do not have many cons for this, it does exactly as advertised for what you need it to do. BOTTOM LINE: - If you want a Smart Lock for your front door or anywhere in the house that incorporates into the Google Home this is the device for you!

Ever felt like you didn't have enough ways to unlock your door? Well now you can use a key, a code, and app, your fingerprint or assign a guest code for those that need to get in while your away! This latch has been really nice, setup was fairly straight forward when placing onto your door, there is only one cable you need to worry about run through the door to the inside of the latch. I got everything set up, but the door was not locking. I took the back side of the latch apart, removed and reconnected the cable, once pieced back together all was well. I wanted to place this at the front entrance, however as another review mentioned, if you have two separate holes for the handle and lock, you will need to fill the top hole as only a small piece runs through the top portion. I should have took a photo, however I quickly started dissembling the handle to use at the second location I thought to use this which was the back of the house. Once assembled, you will insert the 4 double A's into the unit, they have a few video guides on assembly and one thing they suggest is to hold the reset button under the battery cover when placing the last battery. You will need to setup the latch to your app, registering with a couple pieces of information that is in the provided documentation on a card. Once this is done, you can then configure your Wi-Fi hub to your handle. I had a little trouble getting them to talk at first, like the latch, I simply unpluged the hub and plugged it back resolving the issue. Lastly the app, you can see if your door is opened or closed, lock or unlock from anywhere (If you have it set up with the hub), set up access codes and even see a log of who unlocked the door. The logs will show the username if done by app, otherwise you will see the name you assign to the access code under the unlock method. All in all this is a really well constructed handle and since is the first smart handle I have installed and used myself, I have to say it was fairly straight forward and exceeds what I expected. I would definitely look into other options for the front entry and recommend this product to others!

I got this lock to use on my home office. I had a standard interior door twist-lock on the door up to this point, but it wasn’t very secure, and it was irritating to have to get the key from its hiding place whenever I needed to go in. I was so impressed with it when it first arrived, that I decided to use it on my patio door instead. As you can see in the attached picture, it is important to measure the distance between your doorknob and your deadbolt if you intend to use this on an exterior door. Since this plan didn’t work, I went back to my original plan. I can’t emphasize enough how much I love being able to unlock my office door using my fingerprint! Super-fast and convenient, and the location of the fingerprint reader feels much more natural than other fingerprint locks. You can also unlock it with a key, the app on your phone, or a 6-digit pin. I also like that the keypad will randomize the numbers each time it’s used, so it doesn’t develop wear marks or finger smudges allowing someone to figure out the numbers used in your PIN. I installed the Lockly latch in approximately 30 minutes. The instructions for installing the hardware were very clear and easy to follow. The quality of everything from the packaging to the included tool for changing orientation of the handle is superb. The instructions for linking to your Wi-Fi, and then to an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant (if you have the Secure Pro version), are not quite as clear. I suspect someone purchasing this lock will have enough experience pairing smart-home products that they can manage to do it even with the missing steps. The Secure Pro version lets you use Alexa to lock or unlock the door. The sensor to tell you whether the door is open or closed can also send notifications to your phone via the Lockly app, whenever the door opens or closes. Unfortunately, Alexa can’t answer questions about whether the door is open or closed, just locked or unlocked. My only complaint is the price. It is among the highest priced smart locks available, but that concern feels invalidated by the features. It has a suite of features that are unmatched by any other lock currently on the market. Installation: I must say that installation did not go easy for me for two reasons: 1. My old locks had 3 inch space between lack and deadbolt lock and this lock need about 7 inch 2. My door latch cutout was slightly smaller At this point I decided to remove my top lock (deadbolt) and just install new one. Purchased metal cover to close hole from removed lock but then realized that it wont sit right because metal cover was sitting under new lock and elevating top portion away from the door (see image). Being surprised with all this I decided to to return old locks and give up. Just after I installed old locks back then I came up for idea to swap places of primary lock and deadbolt lock (primary on top deadbolt on bottom), so i did that and I am glad I tried that because this lock is very good. Setup: Setup was very easy, after downloading lockly application I registred and followed the prompts for both, lock and secure link which by the way for great with google mini products I own. I added standard pin code and enrolled fingerprints for myself and my family members. Added device to my google home and it's great feeling being able to control your door and lock with just your voice without getting up from your chair. Features: This lock has lots of nice features such as one time pass-code, standard pass code, offline passcode,3d fingerprint enrollment, access logs to check who entered house and when, door sensor which lets me know when doors are opened or closed, remote access to unlock or lock door from anywhere and my favorite - auto lock which I set at 5 seconds for myself (but could be set for 10,20,30, 60 seconds or 2 and 5 minutes). No more walking downstairs in the middle of night to check did we lock the door, or wonder who walked out last and did we locked the door before we take our trip out of city. At the same time we can ensure that high value packages delivered to out home could be placed inside by unlocking the door remotely for delivery person after checking that option with them on our ring bell. I do like this product a lot but because of it's size which does not fit all the door without some adjustment I must give 4 stars instead of 5. On everything else this product deserve full 5 stars. Check your door locks spacing and plan ahead how to proceed before you purchase this lock, but if you decided to go with it I true believe you will be happy. I am very happy with mine and I am glad that I found a way to install it, considering amount of adjustment I had to make.

Crazy tech in a door lock… This is the fourth main door digital lock I’ve owned and installed over the years. For most of the years they’ve all been in a general category of basicness of key pad and small differences in functional design. Then today comes Lockly that totally separates itself on the market with the most advanced features that one lock can have. And not just the digital guts, but the mechanical mechanism is much more beyond the old motorized deadbolts that struggled to close. This is has everything possible in a modern electronic lock. It has Fingerprint, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Code or physical key; pick your choice. On top of that the feature to integrate with Alexa or Google Assistant takes Lockly to the leading edge in the application of available technologies. There is an event log feature in the app to tell you who and when opened the door, too. (This model of the lock comes with the Bluetooth to Wi Fi bridge and the door open sensor.) Setup was a lot easier than a lot less advanced tech I have around the house these days. Once you install the app it takes you step by step through all the text and email validations, code setups, Wi-Fi Setup – everything. Very Clean App and well done. You can’t say that about many Apps that come with products these days. The Lockly App, like their product, is polished and nice to use. I can’t say enough about this and what a joy it is to own one of these. Whatever statement you want to make or your purpose for owning one of these, it is guaranteed to make you smile. For me, it is absolutely the coolness factor. The display looks amazing during the day and especially night. Maybe pricey but that is security – you get what you pay for and this has everything. Absolutely I would recommend this to anyone.

Bottom Line: The Lockly Secure Pro is an awesome, feature rich latch system, but buyers should evaluate whether they need all of the options before investing in this unit. Pros: easy to use keypad, quick fingerprint reader, easy to use app, tons of features Cons: cannot install with a pre-existing deadbolt; no HomeKit integration yet Review (installation): Installing the unit is only a bit more complicated than a regular door handle, so it shouldn’t take the average homeowner more than 30 minutes once he or she has the door prepped. The biggest problem I ran into was that my door has a pre-existing deadbolt installed above the regular latch/doorknob. The Lockly Secure Pro is pretty tall, especially on the interior handle, so I had to remove the deadbolt and figure out a way to fill the hole before proceeding with installation. Once installed, the interior handle covers most of the space where the deadbolt was installed. (Setup): Once you have the lock installed, setup is pretty straightforward, although I would recommend that the battery cover not be screwed on at first given you need access to a couple of buttons. Setup can be completed on lock or, preferably and more easily, through the smart phone app via Bluetooth. From there, you can add/delete access codes, add fingerprints (requires use or the sensor on lock), and setup the WiFi link, which must be plugged in relatively close to the lock. (Usage): Once you have your access codes and WiFi link setup, using the latch is simple. You can enter your 6-8 digit code on the keypad, which shuffles the location of the numbers to avoid someone attempting to figure out your code by pattern recognition. The keypad is very responsive, but the shuffling of button location makes “muscle memory” impossible so you’ll have to look at the buttons. The easier on-latch option is to use the fingerprint scanner, which works as well and as quickly as the ones you would find on your phone. This is easier and much faster than entering a code. The latch can also be unlocked via your phone through the Lockly app. You can monitor and unlock the door remotely with the WiFi link or use it to unlock via Bluetooth when nearby. The app also includes a one-touch widget you can hit on your phone to unlock when you’re at the door. This is my preferred method, although the fingerprint is easier if your hands are full and can’t get your phone out. The latch also comes with Alexa and Google Home support out of the box. For someone squarely in Apple’s camp, there isn’t yet HomeKit or Apple Watch support, but I believe Lockly is working on HomeKit support for the future. The latch looks great and has a ton of awesome functionality. It seems perfectly suited for installation on guest/rental properties, where access codes can be added/deleted through the app. Homeowners will also like the product, but some users not benefit from all of the features this unit offers.

Easy to install. (easier than the Yale smartlock) The app is easy to use and intuitive The lock itself is a little big but it's attractive It works great. I especially like the fingerprint reader. Overall, a very nice addition to our smart home!

Bought this for the remote access. Travel and this adds a layer of protection with the app you can get notifications of the door usage and who the user is. I set up temporary codes for cleaning and emergency response. I like the finger print function a lot. This unit with the WiFi was very easy to set up. I am definitely not technically savvy, just followed the app. It fit within the existing lock holes and works great so far.

I love this door latch! I started out with the dead bolt version and I loved that one too but I also use this for my daycare so it kept on locking while parents had the door still open then the would bang it trying to close the door but the dead bolt was out and I didn’t want someone to break my expensive lock so I switched to this version. I am able to give passcodes to my workers and limit when they come and go. I can also open up the door for someone from anywhere. That was the best decision I’ve made it works so good and it’s strong and secure I got one in satin nickel and black. I would highly recommend they look very stylish and expensive

Lock replaces a Schlage lock on the entry door from the garage into the house. Much more solid/secure feel than old lock. I really like the ease of use/programming. Finger print reader works well too. Lots of useful features, even for personal residences.

After installing this lock myself. I wondered how i have never had it before. Made me want to leave the house just to use it again. Fingerprint reader is quick, remote access works well and setup to work with Google Home to extend my smart home capabilities was very easy. Love that the number sequence change randomly so your PIN entry cannot be memorized by someone watching.

The installation took a little longer than expected, but definitely a DIY sort of thing. The features are super robust and so far I've only used it for my family but if we start renting our place, all the different features will come in super handy - this would be IDEAL for frequent AirBnB/VRBO rental owners. The app takes a little getting use to but the fingerprint feature is FANTASTIC - works just like an iPhone.

I have met many exceptional Geek Squad technicians thru the course of my home technology upgrades. Among the very best, is Jerry B. Jerry B. demonstrated a broad and deep knowledge of many technical topics and options. He has excellent consultancy skills. He diagnosed that I needed a different smart lock than the one we had on hand. He advised me not to return the smart lock until we had received the replacement, the LOCKLY - Secure Pro Bluetooth Latch. When it arrived, he expedited the installation. As with his installation of other smart locks and a new fast speed internet cable modem, it went flawlessly. Jerry’s calm demeanor and deep knowledge were very reassuring. I would welcome him on any future home technology project that I have in the future and would highly recommend him to others.
