Works well. However, the 2008 Prius vent does tilt back more than a vertical vent (vs. a Ford Escape), thus when it is sunny, sometimes I get a glare off my phone. But it isn't a deal breaker and it does hold my phone well, especially when I hit those lovely potholes.

I placed this on my air vent with the magnet on the outside of my phone case and it held up just fine. I did try putting the magnet on the inside of my otterbox and the phone slipped off so the magnet is strong, but must be on the outside of the case. I like it!

I purchased the air vent mount for my iPhone 5 so that I did not have to have a bulky suction cup mount on my windshield. The concept seemed to make sense but this magnetic mount has some challenges. 1. The power of the magnet is limited which means that the phone will occasionally fall off the mount and on to the floor of my car while I am driving. By the way, I mounted the magnetic square under (*)speck phone case which is a recommended option. The other option is to mount it on the outside of the case but I didn't like that choice. 2. There are times when the air vent pivots and causes the face of the phone to move so that I can't see the screen easily. The overall concept of this mount is a good idea but the flaws are frustrating...

I choose this product to hold cell phone to use GPS/map in rental cars. I considered the suction cup windshield/dashboard mount alternatives and wish I had gone that direction. This product works fine only if you can connect it to a vent fin where the vent is not inset relative to the rest of the dashboard. This limits which autos this device will actually work with and since I bought it to use in rental cars on business trips, I have no way of knowing in advance if it will or will not be functional. If the attachment clip was about an inch longer, that probably would solve the problem.

It's a pretty strong magnet to hold the heaviest of any smartphone. Comes with two sucking plates to put on your phone. Surprisingly my note 5 can stick without a plate and don't see the magnets do it harm. Been using it for about 3 months already.

Works fairly well. It does not hold my 6s quite as solidly as I would like but it does ok

Easy to use one-handed. Super easy to install. Super strong magnet holds phone securely. Liked it so much, I've purchased one for several family members and recommended to several friends.

I bought other pieces to this magnetic mounting system but its difficult to find anything anymore. It works great for me. I have two of the suction cup type, window-mounts. I decided to add this little guy for business travel Small, compact. Functional.

Air vent mount from best buy was a great deal, I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The magnet appears to work well but I have an iPhone 6 Plus and it's too large for this small magnet. It falls off on bumps. Also, the glue on the backing of the magnet is not sturdy and I ended up having to tape the magnet to the phone and cutting my phone protective cover to fit it in. Good idea but needs much improvement.

It's pretty cool device to have. I like that I can put it in my car and my phone is not falling all over the place while I am charging it. It's pretty neat for when you travel and have to use the GPS on your phone. I just thought it was kind of expensive.

Stick this simple round base in your A/C vent and stick the included metal plate inside the backside of your cell phone case and your go to go. Round base is a magnet that holds your phone in place. Comes with 2 metal plates for His and Her phones. Base easily removes to swap between cars or to carry when traveling. Only caution is thick cell phone cases may require you to stick the metal plate on the exterior of the case to get enough magnetic attraction to hold the phone. I had good results with 2 out of 3 cases I tried with the plate hidden inside. Great product!

The mounting device for this product is made for cars with standard THIN vents. I had to nearly break the mount to get it to attach to my vent. (I drive a Nissan Rogue and my sister drives a newer model - the vents are different in the two)

This magnet stuck to a slot on my air vent grabs my case fills with money and credit cards on one side and a 5 in phone held by a plastic case on the other side. Superman can not pull it off. (Sorry about the showing language but my review didn't make the character count by simply saying, "Holds my wallet phone holder. Very strong." I guess at BestBuy using BS is better than just stating the facts. I hope they realize that put a min character count just wastes people time, day, evening. You could says Bestbuy is causing families to give up some important family time so their customers can write review. But what is most important is that this product produces a very strong hold and is worth buying......)
