I tried the magnet between the case and the phone and then direct contact; magnet to magnet. The concept is good but the magnets aren't strong enough for my Samsung Galaxy 6s. I returned it for full refund.

As this problem was just discovered after the store warranty ran out, I was given manufacturer information which I have yet to contact.

Not up to Logitech standards

The idea is great but with a case on your phone the magnets are barely strong enough to survive any bumps. Also the dashboard vent clips are too short to work in my car. The other mouniting systems likely would work better but avoid the vent mount.

Magnet was strong but clip didn't fit my air vent

Air flow , the holder clip Just couldn't fit right to use phone for gps etc.. I got two and will return them. I found one to Mount inside windshield much better-and cheaper even! And AC flows freely!

As if the magnet was not strong enough to hold the phone. Especially if the phone had the charging cord attached, it would come down immediately. I returned this item.
