Actually works well!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this because I wanted to mount my Galaxy Note 4 other than my windshield or top of the dash. It looked simple enough, but I was worried that the weight of my Note 4 and Otterbox Commuter case would be too heavy, not at all, I first tried the metal plates inside the case, did not work, so I stuck a plate on the outside of the plastic case, works great, despite the bumps and rattles while driving my SUV 20 miles each way to work, it has not fallen off or moved. I'm surprised by how snugly it fits in the AC vents and how well the magnet holds my heavy phone. Before you buy though make sure your phone fits in the area where the AC vents are, you may have controls or dials that might be in the way.
