    Great hardware -- needs better software

    The videos taken with this camera are amazing for its size--in picture quality terms, the Brio punches far above its weight. The problem is, as with all Logitech products, that Logitech cannot write a decent driver package. Currently there are two ways to set the parameters for this camera--Logitech Capture and Logitech Camera Settings. Both can be downloaded from the Logitech web site. Logitech Camera Settings, however, runs several background processes that consume 20-30% of the processor constantly, even when the camera is disconnected. I've contacted Logitech support about this problem, but they don't even bother answering. I've tried installing the software in three different computers, all three Windows 10 Pro, all with 8th or 10th generation i7's, all with 16g of memory, and the settings software does the same thing--runs up 20-30% processor utilization, consumes several Gig of memory, and sits there... Logitech capture, on the other hand, works great--so long as you are not in some other application that uses the camera. If you launch Zoom or Skype, for instance, while Capture is running, the camera controls are greyed out--"the camera is in use by another application." So while this application can set the camera's parameters, it cannot do so while the camera is actually being used. Since both of these methods fail, and Logitech support will not answer my questions about how to adjust the camera's settings while it is in use, there is essentially NO WAY to set the focus, view angle, etc., on this camera. All that great hardware goes to waste.

    Good device for Remote work.

    The product is good. Did struggle to setup.After doing internet research identified "Logi Tune" should be installed, which was not mentioned anywhere in product guide. But once initial setup is done, its easy to use, quickly connects to video calls. Overall, satisfied with the product.

    Best webcam you can get. Remember if you're doing green screen you need bright lights. One behind you lightning up green screen and the rest on your.

    I was hoping to upgrade from my Logitech 930e so I bought this camera hoping for a sharper image quality for streaming. I was plagued by constant problems with this camera right from the start. From stuttering/lagging video, to the video freezing, and the camera just outright stopped working until I restarted my computer. I could eventually get it to run 1080p 30fps stable(until something crashed, and the video would freeze). I could not get it to run at 60fps at 1080p, let alone 30 fps at any higher resolution. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the software, and drivers for this camera, as well as removing any other software that could conflict with it. This camera was a severe let down, in that it couldn't even meet the quality of my 930e, when it was supposed to far surpass it. I recommend avoiding this one. I'll probably end up getting a DSLR Camera, and using a device to capture it when I seek another upgrade option.

    90 degree field of view for a 4K webcam?

    If doing 4k, you would desire to be at 100-110 fov, this is what delivers that depth and room experience from the top streamers. Of course, they are using $1000 Sony DSLR cams with a wide angle lens compared to a $200 webcam but 90 is pretty bare bottom... Might want to wonder if you want a 4K cam at this point, as the 920 would suffice

      Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the 4K webcam. I'm sorry to hear that the field of view isn't up to par with what is expected. We feel that 90 degrees is more than enough for someone that will be using a webcam... As you explained, the next step is to go DSLR and then you will get the wider views. At $200, the 4K resolution and 90 degree fov is still a large step up from the C920 or similar webcams. There are also better light correction and microphones. Thank you for your input.

    This webcam seemed to work fine for a couple of weeks. In the last 10 days or so, I haven't been able to use it because it give loud feedback on every video call. I will be visiting a store to return it today.

    NO DRIVERS

    ok so i had purchased this cam as an upgrade from the c920 which i have used and loved for the past 3 years but the cord started to go bad and i figured hey why not upgrade if i need a new cam anyways. i purchased the pro 4k and to my dismay there were no drivers for this cam on the logitech site and also you cant record without using external video recording software... thats right folks for $200 you get no drivers and no recording software with a WEBCAM. i returned this camera the same day i bought it and purchased the c922 which also has NO DRIVERS available. not sure whats going on with logitech but i will also be returning the c922 and pruchasing another c920 since logitech basically has a monopoly on webcams

    Not Good with Online Exams

    I am taking an online Statistics course with a local university and the exams are remotely proctored using Proctorio. There was a conflict between Proctorio and this webcam. It would not scan my student ID before I downloaded the software. Then after installing the software then it would not connect to Proctorio. For over $200, you would think it would work with any software. I took it back and used my laptop webcam instead. I was hoping for a bigger screen, but alas I had to use a smaller one. Don't waste your money and time with this camera if you are a college student taking online classes. From what I read after returning this, it has audio issues too. Glad I returned it!

    Great camera while it works. How in the world does a $200 webcam just die? One with very little use over 4 years just quits. Ridiculous.

    I did a store pick up after ordering online and it had no power no matter what i did. i chatted with Logitech help desk etc. Nothing. Was sold a dud, or a refurbished, or a faulty product.

    Video feed too glitchy to use

    Video feed was consistently glitchy rendering this device as unusable. I was using it with a brand new 4k monitor, I used the cable provided, my OS was up to date, I played with the settings. Nothing worked.
