Good Audio, Disappointing Build Quality

They’re extremely comfortable, especially for longer gaming sessions, and the noise reduction is solid. Sound quality is also very good, particularly for games where directional audio matters. For horror or competitive games, being able to clearly tell where sounds are coming from is a big plus. I originally bought a pair for myself and liked them enough that I purchased a second pair so my husband and we could game together. Unfortunately, after only a few months of use, problems started showing up. The speaker piece began to feel loose and would randomly droop without being touched. Eventually, after my Best Buy protection plan expired, the microphone completely stopped staying in place and now just falls down on its own. We take very good care of our devices and don’t rough-handle our gear, so this feels like a clear hardware or build quality issue rather than user damage. For the price, I expected these to last much longer and not develop such major issues so quickly. Now that they’re no longer under protection, there’s no practical way to get them fixed, which makes the situation even more frustrating.

This by far should be the stabdard for a wireless headset. If you have Gen 4 Astros its worth the upgrade.
