I chud away after work and battery life last for so long, the comfortably on this headset is really good at least for my head, and lastly sound quality is really good for console I don't notice any dips on sound quality, also this has playback voice feature. Only thing I dislike on this headset is every week the playback is disabled but honestly it's not a big deal.

I think they are priced pretty high for the quality and just what you are getting in return. I don’t care for the semi-open ear muff design; it lets in a lot of background noise for me to hear. They feel cheap and feel like you have to be gentle with them; a fall from your desk and they are probably toast. I don’t like that the Bluetooth transmitter and range is in and based off of the charging dock, so no using them with your phone away from your desk. The mic is apparently pretty good according to my Discord chat; the old headset was the 2023 version Blackshark v2 Pro which has a really good mic. If the detachable mic on my Blackshark v2 Pro headset wouldn’t keep going out and needing replacing, I would take those over this A50 set. This A50 set does sound really good and is great for FPS games, but if you have a loud environment, you will need to get the aftermarket ear muffs or you won’t be able to lock in on the game sound. The mic seems to be good enough at canceling noise for others in chat with you though. They have really good Spatial Audio for tracking footsteps, just make sure you follow the instructions on setting it up in Windows. If these were closer to $200, I would say no brained get them, but close to $30 is a bit steep. I do really like being able to connect to my phone and pc at the same time though and have audio going on both at the same time.

I tried many things to improve the audio quality in games like Call of Duty Warzone and I failed, PC or PS5 the game sound is muddy and makes the enemy footsteps hard to hear them. The headset volume is also kinda low, but it improved a lot with earpads from Wicked cushion, also it added a nice look to my headset matching the red accents, it turned the sound way too boomy so I tried the EQ recommended settings but they didn’t help, I also went further and tried specific EQ for Warzone using the improved earpads to no avail. Funny thing my music wireless headphones makes sniper shots from BF6 sound realistic with full body, here the Astros are disappointing tiny, and adding the EQ settings for FPS games is even worse. So sound quality it totally failed to me, the best thing about this headset is the microphone quality, they got that right with clear voice and also reducing background noise without affecting the voice fullness. But the new A50 feels a step backwards from my older A40 TR, I can’t remove the mic or much less change mic sides, I can’t snap the caps out to make them semi open, the volume control is in a position where I accidentally touch the wheel control when grabbing the headset, it’s frustrating and makes having to readjust my volume an inconvenience. The bluetooth function is tethered to the base, so forget about using it with other devices on the go since you need to carry the base and it needs a power outlet. The multi connection works pretty well I was able to switch between PC and PS5 with no issue, this is the main selling point for this headset and I preferred the USB port connection for the devices rather than the HDMI from the X version, but it comes with only one USB cable for connecting the devices, this is an expensive headset at least it should bring the other 2 cables for connecting multiple devices as advertised. Ultimately these features are downed by the ok sound quality, it’s not good value, you can get better sound quality elsewhere and being unable to hear footsteps properly is a no in my book. Maybe you’re just interested in connecting multiple devices with good wireless connectivity and great mic but a headset should sound as a good as the price range is being set for.

Had an older version of the A50 and was looking to upgrade absolutely amazing headset, (according to my friends) my microphone sounds very realistic like we are in a room together talking. Only thing i would not recommend is having long hair with it! Hair gets stuck in the headset and yanks after cutting my hair within this last week all my problems with it are over! I have it connected tk my computer, PS5 and Xbox all at the same time and switches seamlessly between them

I replaced my Gen1 A50 headset with a Turtle Beach Stealth 700 and after returning that garbage I tried the RIG 800. I was unable to overcome the hollow metallic sound using that headset so returned it and grabbed this A50. There is a world of difference with these! I have the dock connected to my XBox and use the Bluetooth to connect to my phone or PC. It is easy to switch between devices and has great range as well! Would highly recommend!
