mouse is very versatile; works on all surfaces; so far no problem with reported double-clicking

Great mouse. Easy to use. Easy to setup. Scrolling is fast.

Too small for handling, easy to be tired. Low DPI, not precise. I hope the double-clicked issue won't happy on me, although It happen all the time for every Logitech mouse, including my G300 mouse. One more thing, it can not remember the setting, like G300. You have to run the software every time.

Anyone who doesn't give this mouse at least 4 stars is working for another mouse manufacturer. It is reasonably priced for a high quality product. I have carried this mouse around the world, used it on many laptops and PCs and dropped it more than a few times. I have not found a surface it doesn't handle. Squirrelly? No way. You just plug in the small USB receiver and turn it on. It just works. I have already recommended this mouse to many friends and coworkers.

Excellent battery life even when left on all the time. Ease to setup and use. Very comfortable hand fit. All buttons work as advertised.

First one I bought the right mouse button didn't work at all, nor did the on/off light. Thought I was doing something wrong, finally brought it back. I would have chosen a different model, but there was not much to choose from, so I got the same one again. This time it works great, nice fit in my hand, feels sturdy, tracks well. The speed feature on the wheel is nice, you click it down to toggle the "click" of the wheel on and off. However, the wheel feels a little awkward. A bit more spinning resistance would have gone a long way. Anyway, I am perfectly happy with this one.

At the time I purchased this mouse it was over 60.00. I am willing to pay more for a quality item, and that is what I thought I was doing. Initially, I was very happy with this mouse - I would have rated it a 5. It tracks very well over almost any surface. I was able to customize the two buttons on the left side to perform functions while browsing the internet and in Excel. I became so accustomed to these shortcuts that I purchased an additional mouse for work. But....within about 8 months the issues started. A single left click would double click almost all of the time. It would click on and off so much that it was impossible to click and drag anything. And, then it just died completely. I pay more so I don't have to be part of the disposable culture...but it appears that this is a disposable mouse, priced as a permanent mouse.

I really like this mouse. I use it with a laptop and it works great. I use it on the flat part of the laptop next to the touchpad, the sheets of my bed, a book, a table, the couch, it works on all these. It doesn't like grooves, deep scratches, fabric wrinkles, or dirt. I've been using this mouse, or previous versions of it, for 4 years. The middle button is a now a necessity, along with the side-tilting wheel. The battery life in this model seems shorter than with previous ones, but I still get ~3 months of 10 hours/day usage out of 2 AA batteries and I never turn the mouse off.

Overall this is an OK mouse, but I think it's overpriced for the value of the mouse. The Darkfield sensor does work better than other sensors in Logitech mice and ever-so-slightly more than Microsoft's Bluetrack on certain surfaces, but does get squirrelly and tracks poorly about 30% of the time. The forward and back buttons don't work right about 30% of the time as well, which is irksome for this expensive of a mouse. I find that the scroll wheel hasn't been improved much over older Logitech mouse and is still much more imprecise than Microsoft mice, with annoying bounce to it as you roll it to a stop, whether in smooth or click modes. On the plus side, I do like the customization abilities of the mouse and the software for this is easy to use and works with a Mac well. I would recommend this for Mac users, but only barely, seeing how many of Microsoft's notebook mice that offer forward and back navigation functions through buttons are no longer compatible with Mountain Lion.

I have been a fan of this mouse for quite some time. Good weight and tracking.

This is my 3rd anywhere MX mouse. The first one worked really great and it's last me for about few years then the left button start failing. Well that's ok I guess cuz it's getting old after all those few year. Go get myself another one cuz I really like this mouse. After few month of usage, the left button start doing double click when you're doing single click. Call Logitech, they replaced me with the new one. Now the mouse seem like it doesn't like to move no matter what surface I tried it on. Well it work for about few minutes when try on a new surface, then the cursor start moving really slow, or doesn't move where you want them ( kinda jumpy)

It really is an anywhere mouse. I used it on plastic bags, glass, waterbottle caps, and even mesh pouches and it was still working good. This is my 3rd day with the mouse and it really fits on my hand. What I don't like about the mouse is that it requires 2 batteries, but 2 batteries come in the box, and so does a mouse pouch.

I bought this mouse to replace my Logitech VX Nano that my dog decided to eat this mourning. I owned the VX for close to 8yrs, only thing I thought was awkward was the forward and back buttons that were placed near the front of the mouse. So when it came to look for another mouse I knew it had to be a Logitech. When I came across this MX and saw the changes i knew this was a winner.

Got these at Best Buy Mobile on sale for my wife and I. They had a promo where the phone was only $99.99. I didn't think I would care about Forxe Touch butni find it highly useful for podcasts and text messages. The Touch ID feature is fantastic if you're upgrading from an older phone as it can replace many password inputs and really speeds up browsing.

Worked great for a couple months. Tracked on glass flawlessly. Then one day it just started to fail in tracking. Changed batteries several times with new ones (also tested batteries in other devices) but no luck. Read about numerous issues with this device and how to correct. Tried them all with minimal success. Discovered that what is more annoying than a mouse that does not work, is one that sort of works. If I move my mouse very, very slowly, I can get it to work about 80%. Biggest issue is with holding down the right click. Seems to constantly drop the click, then pick it up again. Usually results in an entirely unwanted action, followed by swearing and gnashing of teeth.

This mouse works great and accurately on all surfaces. I am buying another one, but just broke the one I own now. I kept accidentally dropping it from the table to a hard surface floor maybe 10 times total (don't do that). My bad. The last drop killed the left button operation. Still is the best and most accurate mouse ever for me. Getting another one in 3, 2, 1...

Needed a replacement for my good old Logitech VX mouse. The Anywhere MX has a great overall feel, multi mode scroll wheel and "works anywhere" dark field tracking. If you are looking for a new mouse or need to replace an old one, this is the one to buy. :)

In the product picture, in my opinion, this clearly appears to be a matte coated mouse. It is not. The sides are matte, however, the top is glossy. I've only been using this mouse for about an hour, but no fingerprints or smudges are visible yet. Just know that it is indeed glossy.
