Q: does this mouse not have a usb to make it work
A: It comes with a Logitech Unified USB dongle. This dongle plugs into your USB port and can help you connect up to six Logitech devices (as long as those devices also use the Unified USB dongle). I use mine to connect my Logitech mouse, Logitech trackpad, and Logitech keyboard, all wirelessly to my laptop using only one USB port. I am attaching a photo of the dongle that comes with it.

A: Gaming mouses are usually full sized mouses. This falls a bit below that. It also depends if you have a large hand. If that is the case then I would not reccommend the mouse. Still the mouse was responsive with the games I have played.
