I got home, took it out of the packaging, plugged in the unifying USB and the install was complete. I'm very happy with my new mouse, as my Microsoft Laser Mouse was on it's last leg.

It is huge. It is heavy. It sticks to my desk which makes it hard to maneuver. I have absolutely no use for all the buttons. I'm on my computer for a good part of the day and my hand gets cramped up and tired from this thing. No matter what adjustments I make I don't have cursor accuracy as I did with a lesser Logitech mouse. I usually like all the bells and whistles on my computer stuff but this is just not working for me. I shall probably have to buy another mouse - something a little "less".

Has a great feel in your hand, very solid. Smooth to use and quick as can be. Highly recommend, no need to pay more for something newer, this mouse will cover it.

Bought in July 2015 for work. It's now April 2016 and it's a bust. Click on the trash can symbol, three e-mails delete. Click on the folder button to move an e-mail, two move. It's like a poltergeist has taken over the mouse. I use the mouse M-F, 10 hrs a day and this just drives you mad. I'm customer facing and the potential to have an e-mail deleted without me knowing is not something that can happen. Going back to hardware by Microsoft.

    Good for almost two years

A fairly expensive product, but appears and feels well-constructed. My purchase priorities were 1) small size for frequent travel, and 2) good all-surface laser performance. The Anywhere MX delivered on both my needs. Love the carrying pouch - not a scratch on my MX. It's "low hump" shape never felt as comfortable in my (right) hand, I would prefer more of a rise into my palm. After almost two years of good use the left click button failed - - double-click get executed with only a single-click by the user. Happens so frequently that the mouse is not usable anymore.

Great mouse, until it's worn in

I really like this mouse, and for a year, it worked great. I travel a lot and the travel bag that comes with the mouse is great. I have had no complaints for a year, until a few weeks ago. The left mouse button has started to double click when I do a single click, which gets extremely annoying in some programs where a double click and single click perform two different functions, or where you are trying to select something in a list. I've contacted Logitech, and so far their suggested fixes haven't worked.

    The Nowhere Mouse

I bought this mouse because it is supposed to work on even clear glass desktops. My desktop isn't clear glass, but is clear (sort of slight frosted clear# vinyl drawing board cover on a wooden desk. I wanted a mouse that would work without a mouse pad on this semi-clear surface. This mouse does, and then it doesn't. I move it to another surface #like a mouse pad) and then it works. Then it stops working there. Move to another surface, working again. Then it stops. I am CONSTANTLY having to mess with getting the cursor to move because this mouse suddenly decides it doesn't like the surface it's on.

    Flawed scroll mechanism

I had high expectations for this pricey mouse. They were met until the mouse started to age. This mouse allows you to press the scroll (like a press button) to eliminate all resistance when scrolling long pages. It's a handy mode I didn't know about when I made the purchase. My problem with the mouse is the scrolling mode where you feel the page line click. It jumps all around, up-and-down, erratically, even with Logitech Smooth Scroll enabled. I can't stand it!! It makes it very difficult to read a page when I cannot scroll with 100% precision.

    Doesn't work on a Mac

I have a Mac mini. I have been using a wired mouse. I wanted a wireless mouse. I unplugged the wired mouse from the back of the mini & plugged in the USB dongle into the port on the back of the mini. My Mac popped up a window that told me that it couldn't identify the keyboard which had worked fine just before I unplugged the wired mouse. I unplugged the wireless mouse & plugged the wired mouse back in & the keyboard worked fine! I repeated the procedure & the same thing happened. I tried plugging the USB dongle into a powered USB hub & the same thing happened. It makes no sense to me that plugging in the wireless mouse USB dongle would disable the keyboard. WEIRD!!! Needless to say, I'm taking the mouse back to Best Buy & get a credit on my account.
