I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, I could buy the most expensive Logitech headset there is on the market and my gaming experience and ability to pinpoint enemies with my eyes closed would rival even that of Shroud. Well I was wrong. The A50x is nice. It’s comfortable, has all the bells and whistles, but at the end of the day its lack of Dolby Digital Surround Sound just can’t cut the cake. If you’re just playing single player games where crap is blowing up everywhere then maybe it doesn’t matter to you, but the ability to pinpoint a single footstep in a specific direction is vital to my gaming experience - something the A50x DOES NOT DELIVER.

The sound quality and comfort is just beyond great. Not having a swapple battery is kinda lame but the battery life is still pretty good.

I don’t have fatigue wearing them, sound quality is on par with previous Astro’s, better even. Mic quality is top tier, and the LG hub makes setting up the headset to your specifications easier. Impeccable quality
