I had a Pulse Elite headset; it disconnected constantly, and the audio was meh. The 3D audio was not very good. This headset allows you to hear everything and where it is coming from. The setup is kind of difficult, but once you get past that, it is well worth it!

Great headset if you have multiple gaming systems. I’ve been able to take advantage of it having it hooked to my PC, PS5, and Series S all at once and switching audio between them is a breeze. The base station is great and consistent it passes video and audio 4k 120hz through HDMI is makes it great for the price. 4K 120hz hdmi audio adapters are pricey. Would definitely recommend. It’s comfortable and never have to charge because it rest on the base when not in use.

I never invested too heavily on a headset, but never went too cheap either. Was recommended the A50X by a friend and I cannot believe what I was missing out on with a very quality headset. Dolby atmos license is included, great dock, long battery life, great audio quality. I would purchase the A50X again without any hesitation.

I got these as a christmas present for my boyfriend. I always have to check products before fully giving them (i always forget about return dates and miss the deadline) so i’ve let him use them before christmas to make sure they’ll work for what he wants. They are absolutely perfect! They block out all the back ground noise from going through his mic which we’ve struggled to find. We have a dog that barks a lot and in our current situation his game room is in our bedroom so his friends always hear the tv and they can’t anymore. There is also an app that you can configure settings and change it to the way you’d like! Looking for the perfect gift for your gamer son, boyfriend, fiancé, or husband? Get this!!

I have the fix for this… Except it’s going to cost you an extra $97… To make the A50X work with “older” LG tv’s you have to disable HDMI Deep Color in the LG settings. However, in doing this you lose the full bandwidth of HDMI 2.1 and everything that comes with it; 4K 120FPS HDR, ALLM, VRR etc. If this is acceptable for you, you can disable this feature and it will work. If not, here is the solution... In order to keep HDMI Deep Color enabled along with all the capabilities it provides, you have to place an HDMI 2.1 splitter between the A50X base station and your TV. This gets you around whatever issue currently exists between the base station and TV’s direct connection. The link below is to the splitter I used. It’s not cheap, but cheaper HDMI splitters/switches often lie about their bandwidth capabilities and likely would cause other issues, if they worked at all. I can confirm, I am currently using the below splitter with the Astro A50X base station, and an LG C9 OLED with HDMI Deep Color enabled and have complete HDMI 2.1 bandwidth/functionality with my PlayStation 5. Once you have the splitter, you will connect your source (PS5/XBOX etc.) to the corresponding input on the A50X base station, then the base station’s Output to the Input of the splitter, and then one of the Outputs of the splitter to your TV. **Be sure to use certified HDMI 2.1 cables for all connections. As a bonus, this splitter also has the ability to split audio out over optical, so you could also choose to connect your source to an AV system/sound bar with an optical input. Admittedly this is not the ideal solution, but until LG and/or Logitech develop a fix, this is a much cheaper alternative to getting a new TV. The audio and microphone quality and the base station HDMI switching capabilities of the A50 X, for me, are exceptional enough to warrant the cost of this work around while waiting on a firmware update to natively correct the issue. It’s been so long since I had Astros. This headset made me ask why did I stop using them. It’s basically the same as the regular Astro A50s with an additional input on the base station. Having more than 2 consoles connected is great to have and the sound is fantastic compared to my previous headset (Razer Blackshark V2). I would suggest if you want the cheaper route, go with the A50 instead. But with a PC and 2 consoles, it’s convenient to play anything at any time in one location.

Astros never fail me. After over 10 years of using my old ones, I finally bought the newer model and I can hear every footstep in any game.

The HDMI on a50x vs optical cable on older A50s is a huge difference A50x sounds great can hear every footstep on bf6 n cod and listening to music is the best setting up the headset to my tv n ps5 took a few mins but there is good instructions on google....also the range on these things is alot better then older A50s i can walk outside far away from my ps5 n can still talk and hear

When its working, its absolutely amazing. Best headset ive ever used. The charge time is fast. The sound quality in absolutely great. I like that i can connect to my phone and hear gameplay while in use. The only flaw that it has, I can be locked in in a game and then out of nowhere, it loses connection to my tv amd get error message that says there is an issue with HDMI connection and the tv will jeep trying to connect. I cant see anything during this period but i can hear whsts happening. I have lost so many games because of this and it happens daily. Not once has it ever happened with the previous A50's.

One of the best headsets on the market if you have all 3 (Xbox, PS, and PC). It’s a plus that it connects to your phone via Bluetooth as well. Only slight issue I encountered for my particular use is using the headset when recording with a capture card on the pc. When recording gameplay the audio is sent out and cannot be heard on the headset and recorded at the same time.

Have been using this consistently for ~3 weeks ago, and its probably the best headset for multiplatform gaming. LIGHTSYNC is nice because you can connect it to your phone, so if someones calling, you can keep gaming and answer the phone and talk (Not new to Logitech headsets, but first for Astro), or simply just listen to Tidal while playing. I also game on PC, so switching is literally just a single button press on the headset. Aside from the nice features, the audio quality is top tier. After tuning in their app, even at max volume, there is no distortion. The max volume is also very loud, ear piercingly loud. The bass is sacrificed for clarity, which I prefer 100%. The bass is still prevalent, but it’s trumped by the clarity. The microphone is like an external microphone, absolutely phenomenal on both console and PC. By far the best microphone I’ve ever heard and my friends have ever heard, it’s thoroughly impressive. It’s not muddied with BLUE software either, very easy to navigate and change in their app. Overall, insanely nice headset. It’s priced extremely fair for the quality and longevity of Astro headsets. If you can find it on sale or use gift cards, then 100% worth the discounted price. I paid full price and have absolutely no regrets. I also purchased the Wicked Cushions cooling gel earpads in white, and they match the whitw Astros perfectly. The stock earpads are good, per usual, but my ears get warm fast, so i opted for the cooling pads and they also work phenomenally with the headset. Overall, amazing headset, amazing quality, seemless features. If you game multiplatform, you NEED this headset.

I’ve been using my Astro headset for a while now, and I’m honestly impressed. The sound quality is top-tier crystal clear audio with deep bass and great balance, especially for gaming. Footsteps, dialogue, and directional audio come through perfectly, which makes a huge difference in competitive play. The comfort is another big win. Even during long gaming sessions, the headset doesn’t feel heavy or uncomfortable.
