Customers admire the Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset for its excellent sound quality, comfort, and solid battery life. The headset's seamless connectivity and broad compatibility across devices are also appreciated, along with its lightweight design. While the product is considered slightly overpriced by some, and a few users desire a slightly larger fit, the setup and software experience could be improved.

I have the last gen Astro a50 which I been very happy with thus far. But the Logitech A50x is on another level. I thought the old version sounded good and had good directional sound but man these new versions are way better.the new drivers are higher quality and it shows with the richness and depth that they put out. Vocals are super clear when playing god of war or any other story mode game. And the surround effects are on point. I play a fair amount of Warzone right, and you can now hear even clearer and you can tell where the enemy is coming from. Not perfectly but I was more aware than ever. That is very important if you play first person shooters. That is the difference from getting high kills or not. I was using Dolby atmos which is automatically activated when the headset is fully set up and plugged into the PC. The design is almost identical imo but more refined. The power button is easier to turn off and on. The button to switch input is very tactile and easy to find while wearing the headset. The headstrap is the same and still comfortable for long gaming sessions. Better than others out there. The retractable mic sounds great as well, everyone I played with has told me this. Definitely better than the previous version. Tho I don’t talk all the time it’s a huge selling point for many. The base station might look like a hassle to set up but if you have all of your game systems on one monitor/tv the. You literally set it and forget it. I personally have a higher end monitor and my PS5 is connected to my mini led tv. So I will have to move it from one to the other. Easy enough to do. Not a big deal. You can use this for just a ps5 or just a PC. Logitech just wanted to cover all the bases which I can appreciate. Long story short. If you game you know the A50 is used by many many top gaming streamers and that’s because they really are the best. Now they are definitely goin to be the top choice. You can even use these as Bluetooth headphones too they sound soo good. You get what you pay for. They did go up In price a little bit but I feel it’s warranted. I’m more than happy with them. You will too I’m sure of it. Hope this helps! Oh yea one thing I wish Logitech included was an HDMI. I know we all have extra but some people don’t so that’s an added expense.

The Astro A50X gaming headset delivers an exceptional audio experience, ideal for both gaming enthusiasts and casual users. Its high-quality sound performance, featuring Dolby Audio, provides immersive and crystal-clear audio, enhancing the gaming experience significantly. The headset's wireless functionality is seamless, offering a stable connection with low latency, ensuring uninterrupted gameplay. Comfort is another strong suit of the A50X, with its plush ear cushions and adjustable headband, making it suitable for long gaming sessions without causing discomfort. The build quality is robust, ensuring durability even with frequent use. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 15 hours on a single charge, and the included charging dock makes recharging hassle-free. One of the standout features is the customizable sound profiles, accessible through the Astro Command Center software. This allows users to fine-tune audio settings to their preference, giving them an edge in competitive gaming. The integrated microphone is clear and effective, with noise-canceling capabilities that ensure communication with teammates is precise. However, the Astro A50X is on the pricier side, which might be a consideration for budget-conscious gamers.

This Astro headset is one of the best headsets ive purchased since the OG Astro a40s came out forever ago and i can say the sound quality is premium! I play a lot of competive online games and i hear things that my buddies can not. There a tons of settings you can tweak to your liking and after going through multiple headsets due to not wanting to spend the money this headset... i can say this headset is worth every cent and i should have just bought this one off the rip. This headset is the all in one for your setup. With the press of a button you can switch from xbox to playstation to pc and even the switch in normal bluetooth mode.. dont get me started on just listening to music with these guys.. just peak listening experience. Being able to charge them without the dock makes for great travel headset as well for movies. I used to be very against wireless headsets due to latency and batteries dying and this and that but i can say this headset can take some heavy gaming sessions with no issue. Ive had days off work with the family out of town and im talking full 10-12 hours running games with the boys and not even getting through half battery. One feature i love is the afk mode. Idk if there is some sort of sensor but after so long of just laying down on my desk they will turn off to conserve battery, simply putting back on my head and touching the volume wheel turns it right back on. The dock to charge is my biggest gripe and its a small one. I have a normal head but a truck load of hair and with my headset being on the largest setting sometimes placing on the dock without paying attention i have noticed myself not placing on them on the dock correctly. Being that charge time is very important part of a wireless jeadset this is a small issue. Ive notice set to the largest size the ear muffs have to kind of squish together so the click onto the dock is heard. Any other sizing besides maximum there are no issues with this. Overall ratings -Sound 9/10 (only better sound found in 500$ studio headsets) -Battery 10/10 -Comfort 8/10 -Price for quality 8/10 -Quality/Build (definitely not built as sturdy as the OG astro headsets but still a very well built headset compared to plastic feeling turtle beaches or steele series headsets i e owned and reviewed almost every consumer grade headset the market has to offer) Thanks for your time and i hope this helped you guys in your decision to buy or not!

So I was looking for something to replace my official Xbox Series X and my PlayStation 5 wired headsets. This Astro A50X headset is one headset, that connects to both of those systems (and PC too, if you’re a PC gamer). I figured for ease of use and convenience, that was well worth it on its own. Throw in amazing Dolby Atmos surround sound, earcups made of a fine cloth-like material instead of the usual leather that most headphones have, and the lightness/comfort of wearing it over extended periods… you’ve got yourself an incredible pair of gaming headphones. I have a larger head, and for me, a lot of headphones feel like they’re clamping my head. I’ve tried several cheaper headphones over the years, mostly “no-name-brands” from Amazon. They did the job, but eventually cut out in audio quality, leather tore, or were just downright uncomfortable. I’ve been using the Xbox and PS first-party headsets for a while now, and decided I finally wanted to dive into a higher-end pair of gaming headphones. I tested out what I found in-stores, Turtle Beach being a big competitor. And while they sounded great, their top model was just a bit too tight and felt like a vise on my head. I also thought the material of the earcups wasn’t nearly as nice as those of the Astros. These Astros are not only light, but the cups also swivel to my head shape too. It’s really such a small thing that makes a huge difference. Oh and did I mention the mic quality is crystal clear too? My only complaint is the initial setup is sorta complicated. You have to use a QR code that takes you to their website to play a video for instructions on how to setup the base connection to your monitor and systems. If you’re doing it for multiple systems (Xbox, PS5, PC), you’ll also need a couple extra HDMI cords, which at this price point, I think the folks over at Logitech could definitely have included. It does come with everything you need to get started for one system setup at least, and once you figure it out, it works really well. Haven’t had any issues with disconnecting or software glitches or anything like that. At the time of this review, it’s been about a month or so since I bought them. I’ve been playing with these on my Xbox Series X only, mostly because I’m away from home, at school. This summer, I plan to test out the multi-console features between the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5. As of this point, if you’re looking to spend some extra cash for a pair of headphones that do *everything*, I’d say look no further. Aside from a little complicated initial set-up, and the lack of extra HDMI cables for this expensive pair of headphones, the Astro A50X is the most comfortable, incredible sounding pair of gaming headphones out right now. Keep an eye out if you can catch a discount on these, I got ‘em around the holidays for $299. Though the stars can only reflect whole stars, I’d say with the minor complaints I previously mentioned, it’s a 4.75/5 stars for me.

THE BREAKDOWN: The Logitech – Astro A50 X LIGHTSPEED wireless gaming headset really delivers the quality and premium experience. I personally have been waiting for the “One to rule them all” headset. It has been frustrating not being able to use my current headset with PC and Xbox. The fit and finish are remarkable. The earcups are the softest I have seen used to date. My only complaint is the top pad is slightly uncomfortable to me. The sound is amazing!! These 40mm graphene drivers are excellent the sound produced is clear, precise and just on point! One negative thing for me is there is no noise cancelling. I cannot be fully immersed in a game without hearing surrounding noises, and with teenagers in my house there is a ton of background noise. The amazing sound quality almost drowns out the ambient noise but it is still there. The docking station is well designed and made. It has almost all the spots you need for all your gaming needs. It has a spot on the back for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. The ports are USB-C input for a PC, 2 HDMI 2.1 inputs with USB-C for gaming consoles and a HDMI 2.1 output. It is easy to switch between sources by using the button on the earcup. This makes it easy to switch between Xbox and PC instead of unpairing and pairing! The headset has magnets and connects to the base very easily. Another issue that I see is that you must have the base to use the headphones. You cannot just take these headphones with you and use them Bluetooth without the base. PRO’s: - Absolutely stunning sound quality - Solid build and premium design - The mic is amazing - Battery life CON’s: - No noise cancelling - Must have the dock to use SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for an item like this.

I have had Steel Series, Astro’s, Razr, and others. This has blown them all away. Even more so if you have multiple systems including PC. Switch input to consoles with the touch of a button on your headset. Incredible sound, a very long battery life. If you have multiple systems you will need to be high end 8K HDMI cables to get the best quality. If you plan to utilize what this amazing headset can do go for it!!! Hey you only live once. No more multiple headsets for different systems either!!! Very comfortable as well. Nice work Astro the competition has a lot of catching up to do!

I’ve been using the Astro A50 for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier. I had the older generation for about 6 years, and as soon as the new Logitech version came out, I upgraded — absolutely worth it. The sound quality is amazing with deep bass and clear highs, the wireless connection is flawless, and the battery life easily lasts through long sessions. The comfort is top-notch, and the charging dock keeps things effortless and tidy. After a full year, they still perform like new. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you want premium wireless sound and comfort, these are unbeatable.

I LOVE these headphones. Customizable for your experience. Works for almost all devices. I started with the basic wired turtle beaches and this came highly recommended for gaming. I have had mine for over a year and have not have a single problem. The charging station is extremely helpful. The battery in these is also AMAZING. I don’t think I’ve gone under 60% battery and some days I can be gaming 12+ hours and forget to charge multiple days and still never gone below 60%. The sound is super clear and crisp.

I personally like the headphones because they are plug and play. Comfortable, and light weight. If you have glasses, you will appreciate this. Only negative is this does not have a built in sound adjustment like the a40s. If this was wired, then i wouldve bought this earlier. Sound is on point, and all my friends say I sound CRISPER and CLEAD.

They're very very expensive, but the excellent audio quality for gaming and fair for music, plus the fact that they never run out of battery, plus the fact that you can connect them to up to 3 devices through cable at the same time while you have then connected to something else via Bluetooth is insanely convenient, and you just swap devices by clicking a button. Very comfortable too. Very good clear sounding mic, the only thing is that picks up a lot of noise from the exterior.

Comfortable, great battery life. And deep immersive sound stage. On Xbox you need to go Into audio settings and uncheck some options that isn’t really listed in the setup guide. You might have to update your firmware by connecting to a pc first. Also the setup guide is a QR code that is a broken link and Logitech has a bad website. Those are knocks against Logitech not the product

I have used Astro A50s for a while. This latest pair that I have bought have so far been the best gaming headphones I have used. I get absolutely no ear fatigue while wearing them for those longer gaming sessions, with also the battery life being able to handle hours of late nights making memories. It is bit pricey overall, but in the long run very well worth the price for comfort and battery. Sound is another thing just blows these out of the water, being able to hear everything that is going on in the game, makes you feel even more immersed in what you are doing

I’ve always used ASTROS, when my old pair wore out after years and years of owning them I went to look for a newer pair. I found these. They hit all of my selling points I want to find in a headset, being a gamer across multiple platforms it’s multifunctional so I don’t need a headset for each when I switch. The sound quality is amazing, for all games I play it gives the best quality in a headset I have found (this is my personal opinion). The comfort is a big, big FACTOR for gaming if you do longer hours you don’t want plastic to sweat your ears and head it just doesn’t feel good, the earphones are very comfortable and the headset strap at the top also has a cushion on top so it’s all around quality fit. The battery life far exceeds my old headset for longer uses before charging. This could be a user error but it doesn’t seem to go as loud as my a40s, I could probably fix this I just don’t know how. Still a 10/10 for me. I’d definitely purchase again.

First off, I was sent the wrong color, so boo on that. I really wanted to see the white one, but it’s not a huge deal. Out of the box you get the headset, the base, a USB-C to USB-A cable, a USB-C to USB-A and USB-C, about four different type of power adaptor in case you’re in a different country I guess, and inserts. You are encouraged to scan the QR code so you can have videos help you set up what is quite a confusing set up process if you want to connect a PC, a PS5, and a XBOX series X/S. In my case, I only have a PC, so setting things up was quite easy…ish. I used the USB-C to USB-A and USB-c cable to plug into the outlet and the base. Once everything powered on, You turn on the headset, and press the switch button. If you do not do this, your base may be on xbox or ps5 mode, and you will not be able to pair to your pc via Bluetooth. Yes, I learned that the fun way. One of the more frustrating parts is how reliant the headset is to the base. I thought it would be just a slightly glorified charger, but it’s a tether if you will. If you have your laptop with you and your headset, and you walk away from the base, you will start to experience cut offs in your sound. A side frustrating note, I downloaded the dolby access app from the Microsoft store, and when I launched it, it asked me if I wanted to try the 7 day trial or pay. The included documentation states that “once connected, Dolby Access will detect your device and activate Dolby Atmos for headphones.” Nope. I uninstalled and reinstalled about three times, and every time, it didn’t detect my headphones and kept asking to me try the trial or pay. A bummer that I couldn’t experience Dolby Atmos. Once I paired it, I turned on a movie for a quick sense of the sound. About a minute into it, I kept hearing a beep that occurred every 15 seconds, and sound kept cutting off. This lasted for about 3 minutes. This hasn’t happened since, but it was quite unusual. So far, I feel like I have a buggy headset or something. The sound is pretty good. I chose a movie that has an awesome audio fx, and I could hear an almost surround sound effect during my test. During my game test, I was able to toggle between voice and game sound. I really like this feature. The volume wheel is easily accessible, so another plus. The mic is a always there, bendy/flexy thing that offers pretty good sound according to my friends that I had a session with. I do wish I could detach them though. I think this is one of the few headsets that I’ve reviewed that do not have RGB lighting on it. I feel like RGB is becoming less of a thing these days. I see laptops dropping more and more RGB lighting. Maybe there’s a new trend coming soon? I don’t mind it. I like it when laptops and accessories are a bit more muted and don’t scream “I’m a gamer!” The headsets themselves feel pretty light compared to others I’ve used. I had a 2 hour gaming session, and it got a little warm after a while, but I didn’t feel like my head was being pushed into my neck. My one little complaint is that on the right side there is a wire there. I don’t understand the point of letting that one wire be the only wire in the whole headset that’s there. I like the overall industrial design that the AX50 have. With the two metal cylinders that control the height adjustment of the headset, it gives it a more premium feel to it. It’s a good mix of plastic and non-plastic material. This was a difficult one for me. I do like the design minus one weird design choice, the dolby atmos couldn’t even be accessed unless I decided to pay up, the sound was pretty unstable minutes into its first time use, and it’s almost tethered to the base. I’ve never had Astro headsets before, and at it’s premium price point, it’s difficult for me to confidently say that I would recommend it, but if you have the cash, and don’t mind a few of the negatives that I experienced, then I say go for it. One of its biggest selling point is to easily switch between a PC/PS5/XBOX with a push of a button. If you only have one of those three, I would say pass, but if you have at least 2/3, then a yay.
