Best headset I’ve had.

It was a little awkward to set up for me. But other than that that this is definitely worth buying if you have the extra money, and want to be able to hear everything.

Almost perfect

My only issues are: The head pad on the top of the headphone is cheap, servicable at best. The headset is kind of heavy. The weight isnt distributed super well across the head pad. Other than that its everything i wanted. Only thing that would make it better is : Better head pad ANC Better quality material for the earphones themselves. The felt is not a good feel

Great, but price is questionable.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After trying all 3 Corsair Virtuoso headsets (XT,PRO,MAX) and the steel series Arctis Nova Pros, this was by far the best out of the selection. The sound is full and vibrant. The control buttons are simple and straight forward, and the build quality is durable. Although the steel series Arctis Nova Pro is highly rated, I personally did not like them, as the stock EQ/sound was really subpar, and the idea of perfecting it with EQ is not convenient, especially since not everyone is a audio enthusiast. The A50X sounds great out of the box, and the ease of use was really promising. The only reason why I am rating it a 4 star is because it lacks features other headphones have in this price range have. Also, the Bluetooth is really inconsistent in its connectivity.

Worth the $$

I waited for a sale to be able to justify the cost. I took a leap of faith, and so far I’m very satisfied with this headset. It’s easy to get used to. Obviously this is a pricy investment, so I added optional insurance just it case it suddenly dies. It’s nice to have a cordless set with high quality sound and ease of use when gaming with friends.

The best headset for console gamers

Even better than my previous headset, I found only two issues with it. It can't be used (very well) to flip between a gaming computer and work laptop easily. It works but needed a headset to flip between two computers. As well, I personally dont play on consoles, but I did test the passthrough for HDMI and it works very well. However, it requires the base to charge with no other alternatives. As well, the PC port is the only port any PC connection is stable. I cannot stress this enough, but unless you are a pc gamer and console gamer, I wouldnt recommend this headset.

Great head set, not better than A50 4th gen IMO

There is also no vocal feedback (you can’t hear yourself) which some people like, I however am not a big fan of not having it and was looking forward to this feature after using the 4th gen since 2019.

I wish it had noise cancelling, but from the quality of audio, and the microphone, I cannot take a star away, because of a personal preference. I knew it didn’t have noise cancellation prior to purchase. From the charging station, to the headset itself, it feels very high quality, and fidelity is unrivaled.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apparently this was an amazing gift because my ex was playing on his Xbox and wearing this headset the whole time I was taking all of my belongings to my truck. Mind you he broke up with me because “he fell out of love and things were not the same as the beginning of the relationship”. Yeah right! I know the truth now. He only used me to buy him gifts, buy a car and then traded in the car for a truck for him, he asked to borrow money as well (8k to be exact) and I fell for it all unfortunately. Don’t repeat my mistakes people! Definitely a lesson learned! But, hey at least the headset was an amazing buy! He will definitely remember he owes me money every time he puts it on!

But if you did no research on the product and just want another pair of A50 one thing they dont really tell you on the box is that you need 2 hdmi cables to set up your first consol, one to connect the console to the base and another to connect the base to the tv, as well as usb c to a for each consol.

For a full setup with one console, you'll generally need two HDMI cables (one from console to base, one from base to TV) and a USB-C to USB-A cable, with more HDMI cables if connecting multiple consoles. Lightweight and incredible audio.

These are much more comfortable and a fraction of the weight. Cons do noise cancelling and when using the dock to pass through audio having the headset on cuts off all audio on my TV. Small issue but still a disappointment. Highly recommend if you have the funds.
