I owned the Gen 4 A50 previously which was an amazing headset. I bought this as an upgrade to utilize the HDMI and for the upgraded sound. Everything is an improvement! The sound is crisp and clean. The mic sounds amazing and the phone app makes changing settings much easier. Not to mention being able to switch between systems with the push of a button. The other plus is that the form factor hasn’t changed which means if you invested in the leather upgrade for the Gen 4 they are 100% interchangeable. The only problem I ran into is it seems much more difficult to swap out the head cushion. I managed to get it out but came very close to damaging the clips. Take your time, have an extra set of hands to put some tension on the outer protion while yoh pry the clips free. Other than that this is a pricey, but well worth it upgrade to the previous generation A50.

I had the previous A50’s as well as a pair of turtle beach stealth pro’s. These have replaced them both! I use these for my PS5 and Xbox as it’s dual set-up (if you want). Great sound and design. Simple set up! And the battery lasts a long time! Love these!

This headset has been absolutely perfect! I give it a 9/10 because the only little downside if so would be the wiring. However it can be beneficial, depending on the type of gamer you are. I’d recommend having 2 or more HDMI cords to function this mic.

Flawless! These are a replacement for the glitchy 933 headphones. They turn on easily and they sync up with my PC perfectly.

I got these as a christmas present for my boyfriend. I always have to check products before fully giving them (i always forget about return dates and miss the deadline) so i’ve let him use them before christmas to make sure they’ll work for what he wants. They are absolutely perfect! They block out all the back ground noise from going through his mic which we’ve struggled to find. We have a dog that barks a lot and in our current situation his game room is in our bedroom so his friends always hear the tv and they can’t anymore. There is also an app that you can configure settings and change it to the way you’d like! Looking for the perfect gift for your gamer son, boyfriend, fiancé, or husband? Get this!!

Previously owned the A40 headset before the logi acquisition, and these are, by FAR, a MUCH better headset. Directional sound, bass, clarity, etc… has blown me away.

I’ve bought these a few months after release, use them everyday, for multiple hours a day. I don’t have fatigue wearing them, sound quality is on par with previous Astro’s, better even. Ever since Logitech switched from Dolby Digital Surround Sound to Dolby Atmos there has been a decline in my gaming quality. I was hoping that maybe, just maybe, I could buy the most expensive Logitech headset there is on the market and my gaming experience and ability to pinpoint enemies with my eyes closed would rival even that of Shroud. Well I was wrong. The A50x is nice. It’s comfortable, has all the bells and whistles, but at the end of the day its lack of Dolby Digital Surround Sound just can’t cut the cake. If you’re just playing single player games where crap is blowing up everywhere then maybe it doesn’t matter to you, but the ability to pinpoint a single footstep in a specific direction is vital to my gaming experience - something the A50x DOES NOT DELIVER.

[Employee of bestbuy] The headset is great build quality, isn't too heavy, and has great audio and mic quality. The different background noise canceling options don't sound very good, but that can get fixed in time with software updates.
