The astro a50x are amazing, the setup is a bit extensive but they are seamless, the sound quality is amazing and they are by far the loudest headset ive ever had, i had the arctis nova pro's and i breifly tried the turtle beach stealth pros and all though the novas are a true competitor the a50x are second to none, and you have the option to easily pop off your ear cover and put new ones on like the wicked cushions, you dont need any tool of any kind because theyre magnetic, if you want a top quality headset the a50x will not let you down at all

I purchased this headset for my husband’s birthday, and he absolutely loves it. The sound quality and comfort are excellent, and it works seamlessly across devices. The only downside is that he wouldn’t recommend it for a child, since there are small parts that may break easily. For adults, though, it’s a fantastic choice.

Great spacial audio and volume control as well as a lasting battery life

I buy lots of headsets every year and test them out and depending I’ll keep them this are the best gaming headsets I have had great for PS n PC n Xbox I love being able to connect them to all my consoles being able to switch through them with a button and flip to mute always charged thanks to the charging doc and so comfortable to wear

For the price it should be better. The connection to PS5 is not straightforward. I had to consult the Astro subreddit to find proper instructions from a support person who posts there. The mic picks up lots of background sound and there's some sound loss when I move away from the base station. That said it's some of the best sounding headphones and the headset feels high quality and sturdy.

I love this McLaren Logitech Astro A50 X headset, it has a sleek design, very comfortable for extended playing hours. The bluetooth connection adds an extra layer of communication.

The performance using the Astro X is excellent. The sound quality is super clear and the headphones are comfortable to wear for those long gaming hours.

My last headset was some turtle beach’s and my buddies would always complain about not being able to hear me no matter what settings I changed, once I connected these my game play audio was 100X better and the tuning from the app helps tune out all the unwanted background noise. I would 1000% recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade there headset

The only thing keeping this headset for being a 10/10 is removable batteries. The headset last for a long time on a full charge, im just bad about forgetting to set it on the charger. This headset is perfect for people who game on multiple systems. I have mine vonnected to my pc, ps5, xbox series x, and switch at the same tme.

I’ve bought these a few months after release, use them everyday, for multiple hours a day. I don’t have fatigue wearing them, sound quality is on par with previous Astro’s, better even. Mic quality is top tier, and the LG hub makes setting up the headset to your specifications easier. Impeccable quality

I was sorely disappointed by everything BUT the sound quality of this headset, which was good as expected, though it didn't blow my mind. I debated between these and the Nova Pros for a long time and ultimately decided on these (first), but have since returned both. The soft foam ear cups are itchy, scratchy and get hot very quickly. They are barely over-the-ear, slightly too small for someone with small to average size ears so they end up being on-the-ear for the most part. Build quality felt cheap. I was never really in to the idea of the dock but was ok with living with it. Don't miss it since returning them though. I strongly prefer flip-to-mute mics which drew me to these, but the flip to mute has ZERO feedback whatsoever. No physical click like my old G533s, no audible tone in the headphones, no red LED, just nothing to confirm you are actually muted. GHUB integration is decent though was surprised at the small amount of community presets. Arctis Nova Pros, although they have their own issues, have presets for every game I searched for. I'm at the point where I don't think a top tier, end-game gaming headset even exists. I've no clue how the market came to bring what exists now. After trying these and the Nova Pros, I've returned both and am going back to my old Logitech G533's. I'll have to wait for a new generation of headsets to upgrade.

The sound quality is on par with the original A50s. What's great about these is that I can have my Xbox, PS5, and PC plugged into it at the same time. Just simply press a button on the headset to switch from one device to another. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because I had to turn on VRR to play my games as it would cause an unplayable lag at times. My TV supports Dolby vision gaming but not with VRR turned on. I like playing my games with a brighter crispier screen. I use a monitor for my PC and therefore don't have this issue.

Loveeeeee this headset! I use ps5 and planning on getting an Xbox & pc soon, so this is perf! I did get the Artis nova, and ended up not liking it and exchanged it for this one! This feels a lot lighter, doesn't slide off my head like the other one, it sounds beautiful. & easy set up! I mainly play search & destroy on mw3 and I'm able to hear all the footsteps and glass breaks, etc.. Best out there. Also! There's youtube videos that helps you install this easy for each console.

I have the fix for this… Except it’s going to cost you an extra $97… To make the A50X work with “older” LG tv’s you have to disable HDMI Deep Color in the LG settings. However, in doing this you lose the full bandwidth of HDMI 2.1 and everything that comes with it; 4K 120FPS HDR, ALLM, VRR etc. If this is acceptable for you, you can disable this feature and it will work. If not, here is the solution... In order to keep HDMI Deep Color enabled along with all the capabilities it provides, you have to place an HDMI 2.1 splitter between the A50X base station and your TV. This gets you around whatever issue currently exists between the base station and TV’s direct connection. The link below is to the splitter I used. It’s not cheap, but cheaper HDMI splitters/switches often lie about their bandwidth capabilities and likely would cause other issues, if they worked at all. I can confirm, I am currently using the below splitter with the Astro A50X base station, and an LG C9 OLED with HDMI Deep Color enabled and have complete HDMI 2.1 bandwidth/functionality with my PlayStation 5. Once you have the splitter, you will connect your source (PS5/XBOX etc.) to the corresponding input on the A50X base station, then the base station’s Output to the Input of the splitter, and then one of the Outputs of the splitter to your TV. **Be sure to use certified HDMI 2.1 cables for all connections. As a bonus, this splitter also has the ability to split audio out over optical, so you could also choose to connect your source to an AV system/sound bar with an optical input. Admittedly this is not the ideal solution, but until LG and/or Logitech develop a fix, this is a much cheaper alternative to getting a new TV. The audio and microphone quality and the base station HDMI switching capabilities of the A50 X, for me, are exceptional enough to warrant the cost of this work around while waiting on a firmware update to natively correct the issue.
